James (10/5): Perfect little cabin for a weekend get away! - The cabin we stayed at was perfect. The decor and the bunk beds were right at home in the Adirondacks. The location of the cabin was just outside of Lake Placid itself, but was just a very short drive into town. The view of the mountains from the property was incredible to wake up to.

Thomas (10/5): The Cobble Mountain Lodge is a very nice rustic motel with some very thoughtful touches. - We really liked the rustic style of the room. The fruit, coffee, and cookie provided unexpected treats in the morning. The two fire pits were alsoma bonus. The checkin was very fast and friendly.

Christine (6/5): This is the second or 3 rd time we stayed. I thought it was very expensive for what we needed it for. We hardly spent - It was cozy, smelled a little. Neighbors across got locked out and were banging and screaming on the door 1:30 am. Very icy.
Stephen (9/5): Nice accommodations - We liked the location and the room was adequate for the two of us. Very small bathroom/shower. A slip of paper folded up in the office had our room info and door code on it. Anyone going into the office could have looked at our paper to get the code and break into our room while we weren’t there. Suggestion is to either text or email the code or put in a sealed envelope.

dar49 (8/5): I would definitely stay at this location again - The room was extremely clean. Although it was relatively small it had everything that I needed. The T.V. worked well, there was a area with stools that you could sit at and eat. The bathroom was small but it had a great shower, clean nice towels and extras like makeup removal pouches. The location is outside of town but only by a few minutes and there is a beautiful view when driving on a clear day. Unfortunately the keypad on the room door was not working properly which caused some stress since I couldn't gain access to my room and it was very cold outside. However, the matter was resolved and the communication was great.

Joseph (9/5): We would certainly come again! - The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Nice added touches such as luggage racks and bottled watter were a plus. It's always nice to have 2 towels each. We were only staying for one night but this was all we needed. Road noise could be heard but it's a roadside lodge, so it was to be expected. WiFi was a bit slow at times, but picked up the later it got in the evening.

Leo (10/5): Excellent modern comfortable cabin with loft, kitchen in great location - Excellent location for hiking ADK. Room spacious, all very clean, wonderful modern wood cabin style, with BR and loft with 2 beds providing sufficient privacy for 2-3 people. Good bathroom, strong shower; good for 2-3 people. Kitchen convenient with water kettle, coffee maker, blender, 2 stove top burners decent though limited if cooking for more than 2-3 people. We used kitchen multiple times a day and were very happy with it; a big plus for our stay. Very comfortable for our dog, another big plus, as we ate in every day to avoid his anxiety of being alone in the car. Faux fireplace was very nice, both for heating and for the miniature light displays. We ate at the coffee table, sitting on the sofa, but if there were more than 2 of us, we'd want to sit at a table (none in the unit, although there are bar-style window seats for 4. Parking is a little tight, but no problem if you're careful.

The room was well equipped and very clean. The young lady who manages the location was very nice and personable.

paul (8/5): - Having an individual cabin led to a quiet night. The cabin with a loft did not really have sufficient headroom for tall folks. nd had to duck under it to access the main bed.) Nice fire pit and very little road noise. Close to the village but not village pricing.
April (8/5): Large enough to accommodate us all! Friendly staff! Clean cabin. - The fire pits were nice! Love the location. The cabin was roomy. The bathroom didn't have any space to hang towels or place your items. Zero counter space or shelves. Also, there was only one mirror in the bathroom so getting ready with multiple women was difficult.

We were visiting to check out the area for an upcoming vacation and the lodge was a very convenient location for us to accomplish this.
