- Nicholas (4/5): - Run down and understaffed is an understatement. The front office lady was nice but clearly overwhelmed by running the check-ins and trying to do housekeeping. Room wasn’t very clean, old nasty food in the fridge, stove was dirty and greasy, few dead roaches chilling on the floor. No towels or tp when checking in. Old beat down beds and furniture. Soft floors in a few spots. A/C unit not working well. Had to buy a fan at the local hardware to be comfortable, hope they can remodel and invest into better facilities soon.

- Hamid (2/5): I don't recommend you go to this motel because it' - I had a bad night in my life in this motel, it's a real disaster. I don't see that there is a place like this in America but I am very disappointed just they take your money and that's it. It is very very dirty. The service is very bad
- JulieAnna (2/5): - I am currently in the process of hopefully working to contact the business owner for some issues with their system, but there were holes in the curtains and blankets, and a pill in a corner of the bathroom. The shower had no trim along the floor of the bathroom so likely there’s mold there. There were opened food containers of ice cream and orange juice in the fridge. One of the beds had sand on it. TV remote seem to have dead batteries and the TV and microwave plugged in with an extension cord that I’m guessing violates fire code.

- Jason (2/5): - Did not want to take shoes off while in the room. There was black mold on the ceiling in bathroom. The sheets did not fit the bed (my feet touched the mattress cover) and the pillows were like old used flat things.

- Renee (6/5): - The room was ok...floor wasn't very clean, bottom sheet didn't even fit the bed so your feet are on the matress pad, floor around toilet was extremely squishy, huge gaps around door that I'm sure a rodent could crawl under, parking area had cigarette and pot butts all over and dumpster was over full. No one checked the room when we were out so our 1 very small trash can was overflowing when we left, just seemed un kept overall.

- Tina (2/5): Find a different hotel - We won't stay there again. We had to wait two hours in our car for heat before personnel arrived. We should have left but had driven all day and couldn't go further. Wish they told us when we talked to the mgr they would be back in 2 hrs and not just "pretty soon." There is no sufficient heat in the rooms and a space heater is not acceptable. One bed was unusable so we used the otherr double bed in the room. Woefully uncomfortable and stripped the other bed for its extra blanket to stay warm.The carpeting was too filthy to walk on, the bathroom had NO toilet paper, drapes didn't fit window correctly for privacy. It was bad. The owner is not on site and needs to address this nightmare!

- Lynn (10/5): Museum visit stay. - Although it is an older hotel it was clean and well maintained. In the middle of downtown so just parked and walk. Right on the highway which had minimal traffic at night which i did not hear.

If you want somewhere relatively cheap, next to a dispensary, grocery store, multiple gas stations, and places to eat. Then this would be the place to go. You are also 10 minutes from the trinity river! Overall a great location.

- Karl (4/5): A one time stay - The room was very outdated and did not feel clean. The carpet was gross and the beds not in great shape. We stayed because my son wanted the Bigfoot experience from Buzzfeed. I would not stay again. Nice people but it needs a major overhaul to bring it up to date as well as a very deep cleaning.
- Sarah Jane (6/5): - Average budget motel room, slightly dingy but overall fine. Check in guy was really friendly, place felt safe, bed was comfortable, shower had hot water and good pressure. But I did notice there was no smoke alarm in the room, and they were kind of cheap with the linens (no bath mat). No really Bigfoot theme either, although there were a few Bigfoot pictures in my room. The vibe was kind of depressing, but I would probably stay there again because it was located right in the middle of town, and like I said, it was basically fine.

It didn’t look anything like it did in the pictures where I kind of assumed that it was just a rustic cabin, like feel, but upon entering our first room, it looked as if someone was still staying in there. There were milk gallons on top of the desk there was open squirt cans on the patio as well as in the sleeping area. The room smelt like someone with bad body odor had been in there upon exiting the room that we were initially given we went back to the office to advise them that it looks like someone was still living or sleeping in room of the motel we were apologized to, and then went to the new room that we were given, stating that it was a upgrade, Walking into the room, it was a lot bigger, but we noticed that both beds Were extremely worn out and needed to be replaced laying in one sink to the bottom laying in the other felt like it was broken from the baseboard approximately around 1030 11 o’clock at night. We had a gentleman trying to open the door from the outside while I was brushing my teeth before bed, my partner came up to me and told me that again the person was trying to forcefully get into the room. I went to go look at the people cannot see it so I opened up the windows and asked him what he wanted. He said excuses, but that the manager told him to come and check on this room. I told him that the room was rented and we were upgraded to this room due to the fact that the room was occupied.

- Julia (6/5): - My review is not aimed at the staff. They were all polite and helpful. I appreciated that there was only a ground floor and it was easy to get my things in and out of the room. However, the shower was so tiny I could barely use it. The room itself is extremely small and the furniture is due to be replaced. They advertise that they have wifi but the connection is so weak that you can’t really do anything with it. It seemed like every other room in the place was being used by workers who were there to repave the highway. They were very noisy. The property in general was very run down and I struggled to lock my room at night. I did not feel safe there. Potential guests should also be aware that the entire area surrounding Willow Creek has some kind of road construction going on, so there were huge trucks barreling through, beeping, coming and going at all hours. And the road was down to a single lane in many places. This was the noisiest little town in the woods I’ve ever visited.
- David (8/5): - I was looking for a basic, no-frills room at a great price and this place filled the bill perfectly. I especially liked the receptionist, (I forgot his name), who was very warm and friendly, got me set up in my room right away, and gave me a parking place with access to an electrical plug which I needed. He also went out of his way to find me a chair in the evening when he saw me sitting out front with a beverage taking in the view. What more could you ask for?
- Verified traveler (4/5): Buyer Beware - Booked a queen size bed, but got a double bed instead. Walls are paper thin. Room and bed were reasonably clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

- Zachary (6/5): - Stayed at Big Foot Motel for three nights. Positively, we were upgraded due to a non-working TV, which was a nice touch. However, the room had issues: a dirty, unusable fan; found used clothes under the bed; and frequent bumble bee visits in the bathroom. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, necessitating the purchase of an air freshener, and the outside area smelled of cat urine. On the upside, the large bathroom and three effective heaters made our stay comfortable. The fridge, microwave, and TV functioned well. Its location was convenient, close to food, a gas station, the river, and our family, making it ideally situated. Despite the cleanliness and maintenance issues, the motel’s location and some amenities provided a decent stay. With improvements, Big Foot Motel could be a much better choice for travelers.

- Scott (2/5): Needs big improvements - Don’t get me wrong the lady was good, but the hotel needs a big make over, rooms need a make over as well. The room I had the cable cord was broken off in the tv box so I had no tv while I was there, and cigarette smoke was horrible couldn’t sleep cause of it, I even bought air fresheners worked for a little bit but then it got bad again had to walk outside for some fresh air through out the night.

- salvador (6/5): Movie nostalgia stay only. - Manager was great. We stayed because the movie. Room was worn out and even though it was non smoking smelled strongly of smoke. Using the same comforter from the 60s I think. Mattress was hollow and pillows were pancakes. If it wasn’t for the nostalgia of the movie wouldn’t have stayed. Some of these ratings make me wonder about the system.
- John (2/5): Quality equal to tenting in the rain, pick tent! - I knew the motel was older....but it just went downhill from there. 2 of the lights in the room were out. One missing a switch. Carpet was old, soiled with a wear pattern. Dresser was stained and dirty inside. Room 23 needed everything replaced except the bed. No hair dryer. Extention cords powering things. Bed was clean but that is a given. We stayed because it was raining. TV was partial funtioning, sink missing stopper.....loud neighbors. Interesting artwork view out bathroom window.

- Phyllis (4/5): Not a very good hotel - this is an old hotel needing repairs, improvment. The bathroom floor felt soft and inclined down, the toilet paper holder was missing one side, the shower was very small & you could barely move around. The bed was soft and squeakly. The air conditioner was so high and could not see the controls. It worked good though. NO coffee maker in the room. There were neighbors who lived next to the hotel who were loud & partied until 2:30 AM so we didn't sleep well.

The A/C worked but not great and I got up at 5:30am to no hot water so I nuked some water and gave myself a sponge bath.

- Michael (10/5): Bigfoot Rules! - Excellent stay. We stayed in the Bigfoot suite #27, with the balcony. The stay was perfect, and we got to enjoy the local sites and community. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Hostess was even kind enough to direct us to some of the local nature spots. We will definitely be back. Thanks!

She came in with a sign that said failure to disclose a 2nd person meant having to pay $50. I gave her my card to pay. She threw it on the bed. She took my friend ID and said she was going to call the sheriff. Very weird experience. It all happened because l asked for soap and shampoo because there was none in the room.

Dirty and holes in ceiling burn marks on carpet.. toilet running, trash under beds ..I'm surprised the health department doesn't shut it down. I had no idea!!! Ill not be returning. Cheryl is nice the manager and upgraded me if you can call it that. The maids are nice and its just smelly dirty disgusting. Id suggest the health department shut it down to be honest. I have never paid so much money for a crappy place.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Not recommended! - The motel was awful, room was next to bus stop yelling baby and the door was broken and didn’t lock. Additionally the room was filthy, dirty rags were hanging on the bathroom door. Everything was dirty counters furniture floors. The experience was so bad we left after the first night, cutting our trip short. Also refused to refund our money.
- Kim (6/5): - Run down a bit. Rooms old, slanted floor, dirty vinyl floor, small but neat. Desk indicated short staffed. Seems to be occupied mostly by workers and fire fighters. Desk clerk very nice and accommodating.

- Elizabeth (6/5): Meh. - The gal who checked me in was terrific. The wifi was not available - the gal warned me about that. I spoke to other guests who also couldn't connect. The air conditioner didn't work. The toilet ran after flushing and I had to lift the tank lid to fix the flapper. No coffee - either in-room or in the "lobby" which was closed. The room itself was fine. Wood walls, old school, little patio out front. Long flight of stairs to get to my room - which was fine for me but I saw other guests struggling. It was clean and cheap, though.
- JUSTINA (6/5): A place to sleep - The motel was old and run down. The lady in the office was very nice and friendly. The town looks as Covid killed it. Locals say they don't have enough workers in the town but homeless tweekers are plenty. Check out the museum if you go and the Bigfoot steakhouse is very yummy.
- Shaun (4/5): - I stayed 3 nights first morning I had to knock cockroaches off my wall than they scattered for the base boards. Second night I had a frog on my face wake me up witch wasn’t a big issue for me except I thought at first it to was a roach.so 3 nights not a lot of sleep. This place most likely has bed bugs as well.

The location is perfect because you’re right across the street from a few food spots and the river is nearby as well to hang out at during the day. It’s very chill and quiet here and the staff is kind and helpful. I will keep coming back here.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good basic place to stay - This is a good, comfortable cheap motel. It is exactly what I am looking for in an inexpensive place to stay. The wifi was a bit slow, but it worked. It has all of the typical amenities in working order. I would stay here again when in the area. BONUS: There are a number of really nice succulents and other plants around the property for those interested in drought-tolerant plants.

- Paul (4/5): - PIcked this hotel because it looked quirky and cool with the bigfoot statue. Staff were friendly and courteous. Firstly the Bigfoot statue isn't there. So.... yeah The hotel itself is best described as 'tired'. It looks very run down. The decor is quirky but... wow. In real life, very tired. Room was generally dirty too with 'bits' on the floor. Wifi doesn't work for anything other than basic emails etc. There is even a sign to say you'll be fined $25 if you try to download or stream anything because that knocks out the Wifi... No hot water.... couldn't get the TV/Cable to work. The door deadbolt didn't lock unless the door was physically lifted in the frame. I wanted at least one warning kick before someone tried to break in.... Willow Creek itself was probably once a really cute fun little town (another reason to pick it). I guess COVID killed it. The restaurants look closed down but are ok inside. In the 12 hours there and within 50 yards each way of the hotel I saw : - a falling down drunk fighting with a bush - a drunk/meth dude HIGH who asked me for money - a WIRED high dude shouting at everything and running around with no shirt on. The town is not safe, the hotel was dirty and tired. It's a shame because a few years ago I bet it was awesome.

- Dr. Richard (8/5): - Great location had rm 11 room was small but functional bed spread cover needed replacing old perfect motel for motorcycling stores n places to eat within walking distance

- Michelle (10/5): - I loved my stay here! it was quiet, calm and relaxing. Had no issues. Staff is very kind and helpful. It’s small but has what I needed which was just a place to sleep and I was able to sleep great here. Will probably stay here again in the future.
- Martha (2/5): - Under renovation, understood. Reported to staff no cups, no ice bucket and TV did not work. They said they would take care of it called the maintenance person and still nothing was done. They tried to fix the TV and said they would be back and never came back. Easy request that could have been taken care of.
