Desayuno muy completo y está al lado de la parada de tren desde donde puedes llegar rapidamente al aeropuerto y/o al centro de londres. Es verdad que tiene el mobiliario un poco anticuado, pero no nos importó porque la cama era muy cómoda.
- nargis (6/5): Maybe the bigger rooms are more well looked after - Breakfast was great bed was comfy bathroom was well equipped. staff seemed miserable bless them. Room wasnt as clean as could be i think I actually got bit as well i have an itchy spot on my arm. Dusty skirting boards big gap on the side of the bed for which I had to ask for an extra pillow. Room was freezing no air con heater so had to wait for the radiator to heat up the room. Taps had dirt as well.

Shower in the bath is always a bit of a challenge to access safety. The approach to the hotel was a little intimidating with revellers outside

- Claire (10/5): Great value and location - This is a little gem of a hotel. From the outside it looks unwelcoming but inside is lovely and clean. I booked a family room and it was big enough with comfy beds. I couldn’t see any aircon though. It wasnt needed when we were there, but I imagine in the summer it would get hot. We drove from the Midlands as we went to a show in London and then my son was flying from Luton the following morning. The parking was right outside and £8.80 for 24hrs. The train station is 3 min walk away (as is the shopping centre). The train is 35 mins into London St Pancras. There was train to the airport but I dropped him off and that was 10 mins away. Breakfast was pretty standard but hot and they filled it regularly.

There was a homeless crack head just 50 meters under the bridge it sits on. I Checked on a 2:30am but got woken up by drilling outside my room at 9am. Should wait for check out time especially when someone checked in so late.

- TONY (8/5): The Thistle Express is good value on a budget a clean linen service. - a secure facility, nice staff, breakfast buffet was good enough. The added bonus of the coffee and tea maker in reception at no extra charge for any time use was a nice touch The outside of the premises is not good on the eye, there is scaffolding on either side of the alley way from the stairway into the premises, and a gathering along there at night would make you feel uneasy.

- Sarah (5/5): Nice but a very cold night - Location is excellent It’s right in the town center. Was grateful for staff allowing me to check in at 12 when I asked about early check in. Staff are lovely very accommodating. Mattress, pillows and covers are all amazing very comfortable. Only one accessible room in the entire hotel is borderline discrimination. The room is excellent apart from heavy door and the windows that are damn near impossible to close even my able bodied partner couldn’t close them. The outer windows have three fiddly handles that are used to hold the window closed and it took both of us to get the outer windows closed. There is no way that I could pull the inner window down if I was on my own and even my partner struggled. We put the radiator on which made a loud noise for a while thinking that would keep the cold out and the room warm but boy was I wrong. I have rheumatoid arthritis and woke up in the middle of the night and the room was freezing cold and I was in a lot of pain. I no longer pay for breakfast and go to the beefeater instead because it’s not nice I can’t stand the fake egg and vegetarian sausages taste like cardboard. I used to like the hot chocolate but now it just tastes like pure water and when I mentioned it to staff they suggested adding more milk which wouldn’t change the lack of chocolate. Would be nice if check out was 12

- Jesús Javier (7/5): Buen hotel-zona rara - El hotel relación calidad- precio estupendo.Tiene un desayuno buffet pequeñito pero con un poco de todo. Durante todo el día tienen máquina de café, chocolate e infusiones y te puedes sentar a tomarlo tranquilamente. Habitaciones cómodas, camas pequeñas pero cómodas. Baño pequeño pero bien. Sentí miedo por la zona. Yo recomiendo salir lo justo y necesario, es bueno para pasar noche de aeropuerto o solo dormir. La zona trasera del hotel, según cruzas el centro comercial y bajas a una gran plaza hay gente rara, drogada o fumando porros que se te acercan y piden dinero o te siguen. Salimos a cenar pero cambiamos de idea, pedimos comida take away y nos la comimos en el lobby del hotel.

Right in the town centre which was ideal but surroundings grim and unfortunately outside a lot of drunks and groups of loud and aggressive individuals. Only down point as hotel was brilliant.

- Sally (8/5): Comfort and care - I return here again and again because it’s perfect for early flights from Luton. It’s very difficult to fault the place; it’s so perfectly designed for the solo traveller and a lot of attention has gone into the details. very obliging staff; more pillows? Not a problem. The only problem was that I asked for a quiet room and was given the one next to the double sets of fire doors by the lift which slammed all night and all early morning as people came and went.
