Comfy room, delicious breakfast and available on street parking via voucher system ( explained clearly on arrival) Everything I expected was delivered in the booking. Nothing really, the hallway had an older feel about it but the rooms were fresh, clean and contemporary.
• Niki (9/5): An absolutely fantastic stay, warm hospitality, perfect location, and exceeded my expectations - I really enjoyed my stay at Kimberley House in Whitby. The location was perfect — just a short walk from the harbour and all the main attractions, yet nice and quiet at night. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was a real highlight — delicious, freshly made, and served in a lovely setting. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I’d definitely come back again. Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like about my stay — everything was just right. If I had to mention one downside, it would be simply having to leave! I could’ve happily stayed longer.

• Paul (9/5): Very good hotel for a weekend away - Booked room only for a weekend away. Hotel is well located for the train and the attractions. Only a short walk to each(there is a steepish walk from the train though) Room was a good size, comfortable bed and well equipped shower room. Instructions to get in were easy enough with a key code and room keys waiting. Would definitely return. I didnt have breakfast so cant comment on that but the dining room was well set out so expect good quality There was a smell in the bathroom however once the fan was on it quickly cleared so no harm done. Also the rooms could be marked better, Rooms 1-4 are through a door with a small plaque low down so late at night was a bit confused. Can speak for parking but hotel sells permits. The road seemed busy mind so unaware of how they worked.

• Mallika (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay at Kimberly House in Whitby. The single room was a beautiful, cosy little space — extremely clean, comfortable, and perfect for a solo traveller. I felt completely safe and well looked after. The owners were so kind and helpful, with excellent communication throughout. Whitby itself was gorgeous as always, and being able to enjoy it while feeling well rested in such a welcoming place made the trip even more special. Highly recommend!

• Graham (8/5): - The hotel is clean and tidy stayed in room 3 found it a bit tight for space in both the bedroom and bathroom but it was the budget room and they had made the best use of the space available. Personally I liked the check in process (not for everyone)you arrive pick up your welcome pack and go to your room no contact with anyone we did have a slight problem during our stay and the fact there are no staff on sight did not cause any difficulty in getting it sorted a quick phone call and problem was solved (hence ther eason for the 5 stars for staff/service). Would I stay here again yes definitely

The room was lovely and clean, and the pillows and bed were all comfortable. There was a decent sized TV and plenty of storage space for our things. There was even room under the bed. The hosts were lovely and made sure we had everything we needed.

• Giancarlo (5/5): Passable, same as most places in Whitby - It's well located, the view is amazing, the room is spacious, the breakfast is good. It has a lot of moisture and the heating is insufficient. The breakfast selection is nothing short of insane: they give you several options, but you can't mix and match them, it's either one thing or the other (e.g. you want a full English, but replace only the sausages with vegetarian sausages: that can't be done - you either get normal sausages, or you get oly vegetarian sausages with toast.) If you even try to mix and match, they tell you that you ordered breakfast for 12 people and they repeat that very loud as if they were talking to a complete fool. Not very nice way of dealing with your guests.
