• Carpediem123 (8/5): Comfy bed near the train station. - Within walking distance to the trail station. Comfy beds with nice AC. Staff was nice and helpful. 15 second walk to a 711. Room was really cheap. There was one bathroom per floor so sometimes it was busy but it wasn't a big deal.

• Guest (7/5): - Très bon rapport qualité-prix à mon avis. J'ai payé moins de 20€ pour trois nuits dans la chambre dédiée aux "backpackers" (jusqu'à 6 personnes à la fois) et la chambre était calme, mon lit confortable (tous les lits qui sont des mezzanines sont munis de rideau pour l'intimité sauf un qui est probablement à un prix encore plus bas) le seul bémol étant que les autres occupants laissaient la chambre allumée jusqu'à plus de minuit, il est donc important de prévoir un masque pour la nuit. Il y a une salle de bain commune à chaque étage et elles peuvent toutes être utilisées, celle du rez-de-chaussée que j'utilisais personnellement était assez propre. Bien évidemment pas de petit-déjeuner compris pour un tel prix. Les lieux étaient en outre relativement propres, un ensemble donc décent pour un prix très bas.

They also turned off the AC on the bedroom because they were cold right before bedtime. If you're looking for the cheapest room in Hualien, it's good value but basic.

• Amelie (4/5): Not Bad but don't recommend - Localisation is really great. 7 eleven next to the building and not far away from the bus and train station. Staff not really welcoming. Equipment (electrical outlets) are outdated and don't work. (i had extension cords all around my bed but they did not all work.) The staff came one morning while i was sleeping to fix things that were not urgent. i had arrived late and they came early to push my bed and make noise in the room the 2 nights i stayed.
• Fani (1/5): It's not the best place - The air conditioning worked well (important, because it was very hot outside). In the living room they offered hot water, coffee and tea. It is actually a house on the ground floor (in fact, they offer to use a bathroom that is inside their house), at the entrance is the living room of their house. Our room was on the first floor and there was only one bathroom for an entire floor, meaning you had to wait to get in. The walls looked like paper...you could hear a lot of noise from outside. The room needs some maintenance, the chair and table were very worn out and the sheets were very old and smelled of damp. The towels they gave us were different, a blue one from Decathlon.

The room was clean, but we had cigarette smoke from the adjoining room the whole time - you would think it was being piped in. Everything seemed old and well used and dismal. We were on the 3rd floor and noticed the traffic noise died down by 11pm, however everytime a motorbike raced by, or even stopped to go into the 7Eleven convenience store next door, we heard it.
