Sabine (8/5): Hotel in guter Lage. - Die Lage war sehr gut, man konnte fußläufig viel erreichen. Man konnte das Fenster ganz öffnen und es war ein Insektenschutz angebracht. Leider roch es beim reinkommen immer etwas muffig, deshalb hatten wir immer direkt das Fenster auf. Es gab einen großen Schrank, aber leider keine Kleiderbügel.

Jane (8/5): Good location, just head out more! - We had a spacious room with 2 sofas and a styler. Steam cleaned my jeans as an experiment! Passion suite has black net curtains and a plant filled terrace with no space for seating. Easy walking distance to the art street and Asia Cultural Centre. Twosome cafe close by for breakfast. Took a cab to Wando for the Jeju ferry for comfort. Souless restaurant/bar. We ate elsewhere but had a drink here. We’d recommend trying to find something more authentic.

Gwangju ist eine tolle Stadt und das Hotel liegt perfekt - Schön eingerichtetes Hotel in bester Lage in Gwangju Leider sind die Herren an der Rezeption weder freundlich noch gesprächig wenn man etwas fragen will. Das Personal im Frühstücksrestaurant hingegen ist äußerst aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Den ersten Eindruck bekommt man aber an der Rezeption , das ist sehr schade, denn das Hotel ist ansonsten sehr schön . Im Zimmer wäre eine kleine Einweisung auf Englisch für die gesamten Hightech Anlagen (LG Tromm Styler, Airkondition, Lichtanlage) von Vorteil.

Cim (9/5): Mycket bra hotel - Det låg nära till allt, mycket fräscht, bra städat. Bra receptionist som hjälpte till att beställa bord, tolkat mm. Det saknades galgar fanns endast två stycken. Det fanns ingen helkropps spegel och Rummet upplevdes mörkt.

It is also high standard, rooms are nice, and some of the hotel staff was very helpful and kind. Some of the staff did not want to help the guests, and was outright unhelpful. They should not work in the service business. Coffee too weak and breakfast not good.

Michiyo (6/5): - The hotel staff were really friendly, and the location was perfect—lots to see nearby, and the subway station is just a short walk away, which makes getting around super easy. That said, the hotel had a strong, unpleasant smell. When I walked into the room, there was a mix of a sewage-like odor from the bathroom and an artificial air freshener scent—it was pretty overwhelming. There were also a few small but annoying issues: the conditioner barely came out, the hairdryer cover was broken, the shower mat kept getting caught because the shower door opens outward, and the TV remote had weak batteries, so the TV responded very slowly. All in all, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but with the smell and all these little problems, I probably wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Stanza bellissima, veramente molto grande con letto matrimoniale, letto singolo e divanetto. Bagno molto ampio con wc separato dalla doccia. Letti molto comodi, Pavimenti in marmo, lavandino nell'ingresso, scrivania, armadio, finestra scorrevole e accappatoi a disposizione. Ciabattine per camera e doccia a disposizione. Pulitissimo. Personale gentilissimo, posizione vicino a tante attrazioni e centro raggiungibile con facilità, Mi è piaciuto davvero tutto, se devo trovare una nota negativa solo la Colazione non inclusa nel prezzo, ma con possibilità di farla in struttura.

Andrej (10/5): An excellent, comfortable and relaxed hotel in the middle of the city’s busy area - It is a very comfortable and clean hotel with spacious rooms and a very good location in the middle of the most lively part of the city and main shopping area with lots of restaurants. Even though we didn’t hear any noise from the street at all. It’s also near main tourist sights. There is also a nice running trail along the nearby river canal. The staff could be a little more versed in English, but it was manageable and they compensated with their kindness :)

Tamara (8/5): Very good - The location is terrific. Easy to walk around interesting part of the city. Parking was easy. There was a slight misunderstanding. I reserved a room with a « terrace and city view ». The trip was for my spouse’s birthday and I was picturing us sitting with a glass of wine on our « terrace ». Terrace in fact meant a large extra room carpetted with astro-turf filled by a giant marble bathtub. No doubt also lots of fun but not practical - it would take hours to fill. There was only one chair to sit on. So a bit disappointing. And the AC was a huge unit right over the bed - too cold to have on and no air circulating if it was off. So « Design » hotel looked good but is not so practical.
Naeema (5/5): Passable - Friendly and helpful staff, good location with restaurants next door and a shop across. There was a fridge and lovely size of room. Comfortable bed. I saw a dead bed bug and my husband was bitten by small insects flying around the table lamp next to his side of the bed. We didn't ask to change the room as we were so tired and the night staff, although helpful, did not have much English. Also, the marble bath tub on the balcony is probably a good idea for younger people but was not mentioned in the room description when I booked online. Since it was advertised as a balcony suite, we thought it would be a balcony with chairs we could sit on and look out. The empty bath tub was actually dangerous for people arriving at night as one could fall into it and get hurt.

Anna (4/5): Don't stay here, go to Culture Laam 5min walking from there, it's a much better option - The location next to the Asian Cultural Center and in the shopping district. Easily attainable if you're coming from Gwangju KTX Station with the direct subway. This stay was a test as I am a Travel Designer working for a High-end company and I was so disappointed by everything that I don't even know where to start. Staff was rude and snobbed us, because we're foreigners or because our looks? I don't know but they were judging us by the looks the whole time (but guess what Mistery Shoppers do? ;) . Plus, they can barely speak English which could be OK if it wasn't because the city wants to expand to the rest of the world and foreign visitors... The features of the room are not practical, lights are located in places you don't need them, doors open on the wrong side especially in the bathroom which is splitted in 2. Breakfast was short on choices and repetitive, hallways are so dark and cold it seems you're entering a dungeon. This is a hotel who wants to be Arty and pretend has high standards but they fall short in everything. So we will continue working with Culture Laam, much better services and experience overall and just in front of the ACC.

The entrance to the hotel is extremely hard to get to and the parking facilities inadequate. The staff were unhelpful about giving directions when the main road to the hotel was blocked due to a city event. The bathroom was poorly designed- making it hard to take a shower.
