- Lana (10/5): - The staff were so kind and very helpful. We did not partake in the breakfast, looked good though. They were kind enough to bring a hot water kettle to my room so I could make my tea. An extra they had was a bowl of fresh fruit near the elevator and some individual wrapped candies you could take with you. Beautiful hotel, quiet and centrally located you can walk into town. A wonderful grocery/deli just across the street and a Woolworths next door to purchase anything you may have forgotten or some souvenirs to take home.

Das Hotelkonzept zeugt von großer Kreativität und hohem Engagement, denn wo können Gäste neben Literatur noch Informationen über Baumarten und echte Bodenprofile erhalten. Wir waren auf der Rückreise von der Côte d’Azur für eine Zwischenübernachtung im Park Hotel Post und haben uns von der anstrengenden Fahrt sehr gut erholen können. Für uns ist das Haus nun eine fest eingeplante Zwischenstation für Rückreisen aus Südeuropa. Vielen Dank!

The hotel staff went above and beyond, offering complimentary chocolates and water, with a breakfast to die for. Say yes to this hotel, but leave room for us because we will be back!

- Russell Jake (10/5): - What a wonderful stay. The hotel is conviniently located about 3 to 5 minutes walk from the main train station but far away enough that its quiet. Is it very near the altstadt, another 5 minutes walk. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was decent. The room is very clean and cozy and the bed was most comfortable. Honestly if I do come to freiburg again, I'd definitely stay with post hotel freiburg once more.

- Alan (10/5): - Wonderful hotel in scenic Freiburg overlooking a park. Easy walk from the Bagnhof. Close to old town. Wnonderful breakfast. The staff was very welcoming to us and all tourists we saw there as well. The property is very clean and well maintained. Plenty of places ti catch dinerr, especiially around the Church. I really do suggest the property for anyone who wants to visit Freiburg.

- Sonia (6/5): - Las cuatro estrellas del alojamiento no se corresponden con el estado de las habitaciones que han quedado bastante obsoletas. Mobiliario anticuado, moqueta desgastada y baño poco práctico. Lo mejor es la ubicación a un minuto de la zona peatonal, pero al estar fuera de ella se puede llegar en coche hasta la puerta del establecimiento.

To use the shower, it was over the bath but the bath tapered away to very narrow at the end where you stand to shower. Not quite sure how " bigger" people would use it. We don't like showers over baths at any time but this was terrible. Breakfast was fine and staff were lovely. Car parking a bit complicated but worked out thanks to gps.

- Paul (10/5): Een echte aanrader voor cultureel geïnteresseerden - In dit eigentijds model achter een negentiende-eeuwse gevel dringt niets zich op, maar getuigt veel van goede smaak. De kamer is mooi, er zijn koffie- en theefaciliteiten, in de badkamer met toilet kan je zelfs zachte muziek aanzetten. Elke kamer staat in het teken van een van de vele Duitse schrijvers die in dit hotel verbleven hebben. De ontbijtzaal is authentiek en smaakvol ingericht met zelfs kledij van het keukenpersoneel die bij het behang past! Het hotel ligt dicht bij het oude centrum en bij het station, een verzorgde buurt.

Leider kein Zimmer mit Dusche sondern mit Badewanne. Auch Fitness Möglichkeiten fehlen. Auch leider wenige Abstellmöglichkeiten für Autos

- Kurt (10/5): Städte Reise 2023 Vorbereitung Test / Herbstreise - Nach der Kurzen Anreise aus Müllheim Baden sind wir vor der Anreisezeit vor Ort Angekommen. Der Empfang sehr freundlich ,nettes Personal. die Tiefgarage neben dem Hotelzugang wurde Umgehend geöffnet und durch den Service in der Tiefgarage zum Stellplatz eingewiesen . Der Fahrstuhl führt dann auf die Etage . Das Zimmer ,nett und sehr sauber mit Fenster zum Stadtpark. Im Badezimmer alles sehr sauber und gebrauchsfähig, Auf dem Zimmer Bücher und Themen Zimmer Paten. Im Hotel sind überall Bücher und viele Überraschungen an den Wänden. Das Hotel macht neugierig Super Frühstuck sehr gut. Es wurde immer gut nachgelegt, Frische Produckte Sehr gute Auswahl- Das Zimmer sowie alles Andere waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal hat immer ein gutes Wort für den Gast. Stets ein Lächeln ,das macht Spaß Super und Dankeschön
- David (8/5): - The property was great. It is located in a great location and is extremely walkable. It is also close to the main train station (but far enought away) and on a tram line. The hotel is located directly across from a park and a great museum. Within minutes you are in the Alstadt (old part of the city. Expect for the the woman who checked us in the entire rest of the staff was fantastic and friendly.

- Sandra (10/5): Fabulous hotel close to everything - The hotel was excellent. It was close to the main station and an easy walk to the Christmas Markets and City Centre and trams. The staff were all very friendly and helpful to the point where they made us a takeaway breakfast on the morning we left as we had to leave at 6am. The rooms were spacious and spotless. Would definitely stay there again.

- Ursula (8/5): Ein gutes Stadthotel - Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und auch speditiv. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet und sauber. Die Garage befindet sich im Haus und man wird freundlich in den Parkplatz eingewiesen. Das Frühstück war ok. Der Checkout war wieder speditiv und auch sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder, werden allerdings eine etwas grössere Kategorie DZ wählen. Die Lage ist gut und man erreicht in wenigen Minuten die Einkaufsstrasse und das Münster.

- Kurt (10/5): Freiburg Besuch nach Frankreichtour - Ein für uns außergewöhnlicher Eindruck bei der Anreise das Hotel sehr gut zur Innenstadt gelegen mit einer sehr guten Tiefgarage,(ein muß) Das personal im Hause außerordentlich freundlich und Kompetent .Immer ein freundliches Wort, Angebot zwischendurch mal einen Kaffee Das Ambienter des Hauses ist die Literatur Super , Das Zimmer ausgezeichnet mit Blich auf den Park und Munster Sehr gute Ausstattung ,die Betten sehr gut, die Verdunglungsmöglichkeiten usw. ausgezeichnet, Das Bad Modern eingerichtet und sehr Sauber, Wir waren 3 Tage vor Ort und haben einen sehr netten Aufenthalt gehabt, Das Frühstück konnte auf dem Zimmer oder nach Anmeldung im Frühstücksraum eingenommen werden. Wir waren zuerst sehr Skeptisch das Frühstück Abends vorab bestellen zu müssen. In der Praxis war es ausgezeichnet, alles was Bestellt wurde am Tisch servier , war aber leider mit Plastik abgepackt Das Preisleistungs verhältnis war in unsern Fall gut. - Kelly (10/5): - A very nice place to stay. Walking distance to the main downtown areas. The breakfast was very good, but seating area a bit small, if felt a bit rushed when eating. Overall, it was very comfortable and I would recommend this hotel.

My only recommendation would be for hotels.com to allow parking reservation through the app. The hotel has a limited number of parking spots and they cannot guarantee they will have parking available for all guests
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The Hotel is well placed and easily found from the Railway and Bus Station (we came from Basel on a Flixbus service who also do a coach transfer direct to Basel Airport). The City centre is easily walked to from this Hotel. The breakfast room is a little small for the number of rooms at this Hotel but we always were provided with a table. It just gets a little cramped around the self-service area when its busy. There was plenty of continental breakfast choice and the food was of a good quality and taste. We enjoyed it every day. It would be a nice touch if there was a little background music added to the experience. We had a room on the third floor overlooking the park. It was a large room and had a great separate bathroom which was huge with a walk-in shower, separate bathtub and his & hers washbasins. Towels were refreshed every day if you wanted. The air-conditioning unit was quiet and it was needed as it was quite hot when we visited (22-28 degrees). The beds were comfortable although they did get a little too hot for us. I needed an extra pillow which the Hotel were happy to accommodate. All the staff, including the room servicing, breakfast and reception teams were very friendly even though we are English (that's a joke by the way!). We could get tickets for the trains, trams and buses from the Reception staff. The public transport system has three circular zones. The central zone is free and covers most of the city centre and out to about 4 kms.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - An elegant property vary convenient for the old town. All the staff we encountered were extremely efficient, polite and friendly. Small touches, such as complementary water, fruit and confectionary made our stay even better. Our bedroom was nicely decorated. Garage parking, at 15 euros per night was useful. I would strongly recommend the hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Parking garage is small and I recommend reserving parking in advance, if needed. We were fortunate to get the one remaining space upon check-in. Breakfast was fresh & tasty. Staff was accommodating. Location is perfect.
- Michael (10/5): Wonderful stay near the old town. - The hotel was lovely. Just a 30 second walk to the old city. Loved the staff, very helpful and accommodating. Room was great, heat and air functioning very well. Breakfast was included and there were always small cookies and fresh fruit in th reception area. I would stay here again without hesitation.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - What a wonderful hotel in an exceptionally good location near Altstadt and the Hauptbahnhof! The “culture and literature” theme made it quite charming and cozy. Books were on shelves everywhere, including in the room, and free fruit was available for snacking in the lobby at all hours. The bed was very comfortable and the room quite clean. I would definitely book here again.

- Cristy (8/5): Good location, great service - Park Hotel Post is in a great location if you're coming in via train. It couldn't be more than 1/4 mile walk from the station, and is a short walk away from the sights in Old Town. The service was exceptional, and the front desk staff is super helpful and kind. Decor is a little quirky and fun, and the bed was comfortable. We especially liked the blackout blinds so we could sleep in. Each morning, there was a buffet-style breakfast. Overall, we had a very nice stay at Park Hotel Post.
