Guest Reviews

- Sally (10/5): - This guesthouse is a professional artwork
I recommend it to those looking for quite stay
- Alicja (10/5): - One of the most special and unique guesthouses I have ever slept at. I had a really lovely experience in this place, admiring the collections of the owner, work of his hands, chilling on the terrace with nature sounds. Raymond is very helpful, attentive and happy to share about his experience with creating this place which to me was really awesome.
The room has all you need, spacious compfy bed and equipped bathroom. Very much worth visiting!
- Munir (10/5): Unique and interesting guesthouse in the mountains - Very interesting and unique place to stay. This small guesthouse is a comfortable one-man operation that feels more like home rather than a hotel. Raymond is full of stories about Lebanon, photography, the region and himself. A great place to relax in the middle of a trip around Lebanon. The area itself is beautiful and very peaceful. The rooms are seriously unique and different.
- Pablo (10/5): - Ray is fantastic!
- pascal (10/5): extraordinary house - it was a unique experience to say the least. we were mezmerized by the beauty of the place and the history and hard work behind it. what was more amazing is we got to speak to the owner who told us many amazing stories of life journeys and destinies in life. we will definitely come back every year
- Samer (10/5): - I likes the uniqueness of the property and staff are too friendly its all a great experience
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It’s a museum , you can’t but keep watching the stuff the owner collects. A quiet and beautiful place to stay. You feel at home once you arrive.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It is a must visit place with an amazing view that everyone must try
- Beaver (10/5): - Super quiet and out of the way...if you are interested in being in the bustle of city then this place is not for you.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very cosy and clean room yet quite kitsch but this makes its charm. Very kind and attentive guest. Generous, welcoming and good council
- Hassan (10/5): - Very unique guest house, never seen such a place before
- Melkart (10/5): Wonderful stay - Exceptional stay in a unique guesthouse. This hotel, constructed by mr Yazbeck’s own hands, is simply mindblowing.
Definitely recommended.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Cosy place. The owner takes care of each guest in a very friendly and hospitable manner.
Interesting place with lots of antiques. Owner actually built it all on his own.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The house is so cluttered like a hoarder's heaven that you can't put your phone down and find it again easily. There is hardly any table or counter space. It had some beautiful decor and ideas but like a hoarder its like they didn't know when to stop. Bedding and rugs didn't feel clean. There is absolutely nothing but the view of the valley. The owner charged us 50 dollars for an omelette and rotisserie chicken and salad. The Intercontinental was cheaper. There was no wifi. The owner spoke non stop for hours about how accomplished, rich, and successful he is. We were just stunned. His mother was a lovely kind woman who cooked the meal. If they clear up some space, get wifi, and brag a bit less, it can be a lovely place.
- Wafaa (10/5): One of its kind - Everything about the hotel is unique. It moves you into an imaginary world. The owner and his mum are very friendly and treat their guests as family.
The area is fascinating. It's very close to Beirut.
- Venita (10/5): A beautiful village - The place is unusual and Raymond is a fabulous host. There isnt any food within walking distance but Raymond will provide meals on request. The $60 room is very small and the shower is a bit inconvenient but the rest of the house is quite a show piece
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice - Relaxing and perfect as a getaway place away from the city......................................................
- Haissam (10/5): Nice Hotel - فندق الاحلام خاصة صاحب الفندق الفنان المبع ريمون الرجل الذي يحلم كل شخص ان يعيش تجربة بناء منزله الخاص ليصبح فندق
- Manal (10/5): Nice Hotel and its like a dream - i cant say anything just amazing and i feel its a dream house or dream hotel or dream staff
