- PETER (8/5): - I liked the response from the staff about "hulmigous" (ants) in the room. Immediate clean up. I liked the response to the absence of internet service for the first few hours of my stay. "We are working on it." and the problem was likely not to do with the hotel but the ISP. I liked the bathrooms in both rooms I stayed in. Outstanding size of the shower, water pressure and volume was great, the shower fixtures were top notch. Best I have experienced in the Philippines. The neighborhood appears rough but it is safe and the people are not in anyway threatening.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel.Need honesty on free breakfast - Place is clean and the staff are really nice. They need to be honest with their free breakfast though. During booking, they should specifically mention that their free breakfast is only for 2 guests When I booked this hotel, I choose for free breakfast and it was clearly stated that there will be 3 guests.
- Josef (8/5): - A few words to describe this hotel: CLEAN. The foyer. The stairs. The room. The CR. All spotless. Not one insect. Better than Astoria Mnl, which had an ant infestation. COMFY. the pillows. The duvet. Easy to lay on and stay warm. Astoria had worst quality pillows and a blanket used in the Vietnam war. CONVENIENT. parking right in front watched 24/7 by security. It was a bum fight at Astoria just to get to the grab ride. The bfast was simple yet tasty. The coffee was great. The AC is window mount type, thus noisy. And until about 11:30pm there was road noise. Use earplugs. The shower was spacious and ample hot water. Overall a great alternative to Watergate, which is fully booked unless you reserve weeks in advance. I recommend. This is a genuine review. Other hotels reviews can be easily analyzed for inauthenticity.
- Clinton (10/5): - They have a wide variety of foods on the menu for lunch and dinner. The food was very good. Breakfast was one of 3 selections but quite good. The rooms were just the right size for our needs. Big walk-in shower with great water pressure. The beds were very comfy, and the air conditioning worked well. The best part about staying here was the staff. All friendly and very polite. All our requests for towels or water was promptly delivered to our rooms. I had a birthday while staying here and the staff gave me a cake and sang happy birthday to me. It’s the little things that make the stay from nice, to memorable. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re coming to stay in Butuan.
