- John (8/5): Great Option When Athens is Booked - Terrific location right off 85, and not too far from Athens. Everything you could possibly need is close by and the room itself was comfortable. Unfortunately our first floor room was extremely close to the lobby, elevators, and front desk — and the noise of other guests was prominent and went on throughout the night. Not sure who thought it was a good idea to put rooms so close to a busy loud area, but we will know to request a different floor next time.

The beds were very comfortable, floors were very clean the restroom was amazingly clean. Overall I give this hotel a 10/10 I would stay here again. Thank you Holiday Inn in Commerce,ga for excellent hospitality. One more thing I like the note that had the person that cleaned our room. Thank you Desiree for an amazing job on the room cleaning. I have nothing bad to say at all everything was perfect.

Highly recommend.

- Sputnik_10 (10/5): Wonderful stay - I stay in hotels constantly for my work. What a breath of fresh air this hotel is. I was greeted by Kobie who was so friendly and helpful. I was presented with a bag of goodies. There was delicious lemonade in the lobby along with cookies. My room was awesome. The business center was great as well. My breakfast had a lot to choose from. In the morning Kat checked me out and was also very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel. I was working in Athens but this short drive was well worth the stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing that was not great was their breakfast but mostly because they need a microwave to warm muffins, and food. They did offer a microwave option in their break room so that was helpful but it should be in the breakfast room somewhere. Staff was friendly at all times and we loved the fresh baked cookies throughout the day.

I won’t stay anywhere else now when I’m in the area! Also, I love the riddle board - I think IHG should put them at all of their hotels.
