- Gary (1/5): Undisclosed details led to a quick departure - The room was beautiful and bed was comfortable, for the time I was able to sleep. It’s undergoing an extensive renovation. Only 1 of 3 elevators was working and it took 5-10 minutes to get it to stop on my floor.
The location is also in a less desirable neighborhood.
Construction workers were starting at 7 am and they weren’t quiet.
Asking staff for another room on another floor was met with “they are working on every floor and moving throughout the building.
I ended up checking out early and booking a different hotel.
- ALYXANDRA (2/5): Awful, do not recommend. - I liked that it was close in proximity of the venue we were going to. I only gave this star a 1 due to the proximity of the venue, but the rest was awful. The mattresses and pillows are the most uncomfortable we ever experienced. They need to do less renovating in the halls and more investing into the mattresses and pillows, seriously. There was one large towel in the bathroom. The elevators broke during our stay and when they were “working” they literally took over 5 minutes to get to you. We ended up getting very familiar with the stairs to get around the hotel. The staff was very stiff, especially in the hotel bar on the 4th floor. The hostess at the bar was very rude and had she spent more time have basic manners and less attitude maybe she’d gotten the order correct on our overpriced food. I would never stay here again.

- Amy (10/5): It was great. beautiful inside! The staff was nice - Nice arena and stadium view Scary garage and alley
- Raymond (10/5): -
- Fred (10/5): - Location and conditions
- Darrell (10/5): -
- Kim (9/5): Bed was comfortable - Parking was very expensive. Through website it appeared breakfast was available for .10
- Sergi (7/5): Nothing outstanding, but OK -
- AL (9/5): -
- Escobar (10/5): -
- Grace (10/5): -
- joann (10/5): - Yes
- Dave (10/5): - Cool vibes all around would come back
- Kondo (10/5): - The staff was helpful, the waiting time to be assisted was short. Seems unfair to pay extra for a valet service, should be included.
- Gwen (6/5): - Elevator wasn’t working properly. They up sold a $50 fee for things we “might charge” to the room like $45 valet parking or restaurant items. It was not clear if this would be refunded to my credit card after we left without spending that money. The adjacent parking garage was dirty and also cost $40.
- Lilliana (4/5): - The only issues we had is the room was a little warm, although the thermostat said it was on and at 65 it still felt warm. The bathroom sink was a bit clogged and we noticed a lot of the outlets weren’t working
- Charlotte (5/5): Not very good - 0nothing The food choices, and the place seemed outdated and lots of flies
- debra (10/5): - Great location downtown
- Gabriela (8/5): - Staff was very accommodating after an unexpected complication.
- Danielle (6/5): - The hotel is great however there is no where to park and parking garages are expensive but overall it was nice
- Stephanie (10/5): -
- Aaron (10/5): - Everything was awesome!
- Amia (6/5): - This hotel is in a nice, lively, and convenient area. Stayed here for the breezy bowl and was able to walk back and miss out on all the traffic. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The only downside, which is a big one for me, is the AC in the rooms. I can attest to the previous reviews that the rooms are quite hot, we had to order a fan to cool down the room. I couldn’t imagine staying here in peak Arizona heat.
- Laura (8/5): - Property was clean. The light in the restroom behind the mirror kept flashing. The shower would not turn completely off unless you put some force on it. It kept dripping and left a puddle if you didn’t close the shower door all the way. House keeping tried going into the room before check out even though the do not disturb sign was out. We called and asked for an extended checkout and was told that was fine up until 12, but housekeeping kept knocking after being told we were okay until 12. The location was very convenient and the room overall was very clean. Parking is not included. I couldn’t find that on the website. They do offer valet parking.
- Karen (10/5): - I was very satisfied with the location, All the Staff & valet staff, Friendly & courteous. Rooms was very clean, quiet, air-conditioned & how do refrigerator?. It was a great day.
- Joshua (6/5): - The bar is located on the 4th floor. The bar is a pretentious pipe dream.
- Tadeo (10/5): It was amazing hotel like it - This place was just what I’ve been wanting to stay at so far it’s been the most amazing place I’ve stayed at
- Nora (10/5): - Siempre tengo muy buena experiencia cuando viajo a Phoenix, el hotel queda cerca del estadio de beisbol y de la arena, el staff muy amable y las instalaciones impecables, sin duda es mi lugar favorito para hospedarme
- Monica (10/5): - Walkable to concert at the Phoenix Arena.
- Sarah (8/5): - The front desk attendant when i checked in was amazing. I truly appreciate her kindness.
- Jovan (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel… room was very clean and comfortable. We decided to stay here because of the indoor pool and we appreciate how clean it was. Thank you
- Linda (10/5): - Close to sport arenas. Excellent restaurant.
- Leticia (10/5): - Good
- Miguel (8/5): - Give a 4 star overral because the wifi its to slow, cant even see netflix on tv
- debra (10/5): - Nice place and convenient to sports and music events. Rooms were hot but it was 114 degrees outside.
- Mohamed (10/5): - Excellent
- Victoria (8/5): Parking - The room was nice, clean, and very close to the event center. The parking and getting around was a disaster, and the elevators in the hotel AND the garage we used were out of service, plus I know its not affiliated with you, BUT you do recommend them, the Luhrs garage attendant for our concert night just sat on her butt, not helping anyone & I get that its hot but wear your uniform jacket so people are aware of you.
- José Miguel (9/5): -
- Yuvaraj Kumar (8/5): Nice place to stay - Great place and great staff. Nice and clean rooms.
- maria (9/5): -
- Caleb (7/5): -
- Girard (6/5): It was good - It was walking distance to our event There was only one coffee cup in the room. We had to call twice to bring bedding for the pull out couch. The pullout was old and very uncomfortable 😕
- Verified traveler (2/5): Disappointing - We usually use this branch of hotels but it was our first time with this location. As soon as we got into the room we realized that there were no sheets provided for the sofa bed, just an empty mattress. In addition, the handle to the toilet felt loose and could break at any moment. But I think what really frustrated us, was after a long day the TV turned off on in the middle of watching it.
- Rawa (10/5): - Great staff
- Donny (9/5): Good and hot weather, ugh. - Close to all the stadiums. Parking cost
- Verified traveler (8/5): Perfect stay for attending concert - A
- Kelly (10/5): Overall, beautiful hotel, and had a wonderful stay! - Beautiful property and very close to the Phoenix Arena! Staff was very friendly and helpful and check-in was easy. Just when it got busy, there was a line for the elevators, but it was no big deal really.
- Joseph (10/5): - Was there next to everything that was needed
- Matthias (10/5): - Me and my party loved the location of the area, really nice and clean. I would definitely recommend this place to stay in. The only down side was that there was no microwave in the that we were staying in. But stay was a 10 out of 10
- Derek (8/5): - The inside of the hotel was clean, modern, and fresh. Room was really nice, a King sized bed with a sofa bed. Except there was no bedding in the sofa bed and when we pulled it out, there was stains on the mattress. My son ended up just sleeping in the couch cushions instead.
The area was very sketchy. Homeless people asked us for money several times. A man was sprawled out in the street just across from the hotel, pants down low enough you could see his entire hind end. We were nervous walking around at night.
Parking costs an extra 45 a night, not something we were expecting. When we tried calling to see if we could check in early, the phones just rang and rang. No one would pick up. And when we got to the hotel even though there was one person in front of us, it took almost 20 minutes to get checked in.
Chase Field was only a ten minute walk and that was pretty awesome. Debating on whether we would stay here again. With the cost of parking, might be cheaper to get a hotel further away, in a safer area, and just uber to the game. Something to consider.
- Torres (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dawnielle (10/5): - My husband and I stayed at this hotel when seeing a concert at the AZ Financial Theater. Is was very convenient. Great food options closed by too.
- Gisela (10/5): - I loved how friendly the staff was making us feel welcomed. The hotel was perfect walking distance to the concert we attended. Great atmosphere and hallways and rooms were very clean. The only thing I’d love more if breakfast closed an out later at 11am.
- Jerardo (10/5): Exceptional -
- 284brianneg (10/5): Such a wonderful Check-In & lovely hotel ! - We had the pleasure of being checked in by the front desk agent Makayla who went above and beyond for us! We are so thankful to her, especially after traveling 5 hours to get here. We will definitely be staying here again
- Baird (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katharine (5/5): Reasonably comfortable stay but some aspects irked. - Convenient location, decent-sized, clean room. Helpful staff. 1. I resented the card in our room inviting me to leave a tip for the cleaning staff. I expect the room to be clean and ready for my use as part of the rate I pay Marriott. I am not prepared to pay extra for a service which should be included as a matter of course. It's up to Marriott to pay their staff/contractors a fair wage for the work they do. 2. The breakfast service at the Starbucks cafe was a shambles: no server in evidence when we arrived, as he'd been helping out on another floor, several aspects of our order were either taken down wrongly or fulfilled incorrectly by the chef. Took a very long time as a result to get breakfast. We didn't bother going back, despite having paid for it. At least the server was very apologetic. 3. We found the public areas of the hotel rather noisy. 4. We were also amazed to be asked to present ID at the 4th floor restaurant. When we asked, we were told it was so they knew who was in the restaurant at any one time. Really?!
- mike (2/5): - Right next to the stadium and ballpark with a thriving surrounding nightlife. They billed us twice for the room though. Shame on them.
- Andrea (10/5): - Great hotel and staff was pleasant
- William (8/5): - Location was convenient to everything downtown.
- Jessica (2/5): - 30 minutes into our stay we noticed a bed bug in one of the beds. We went and told the staff. The first person we told was super polite, moved us to a new room, and told us we would either get a heavily discounted stay or get our room fully compensated. The next day when we were checking out, they were not helpful, told us that they would call us later to let us know what was going on, but there were no notes about the issue. Then when I got a call back, they couldn’t do anything for us because we used Expedia to book the hotel. So not only did I have a bed bug in my room, but I couldn’t sleep in the new room because of the fear of bed bugs in the new bed, just to end up being lied to about what the outcome of our stay would be. Be forewarned, and make sure to check your bed for bugs!!
- Michael (10/5): Great space downtown with nice rooms. - Great location next to the Dbacks stadium. N/A
- Fred (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donald (8/5): - Very nice staff, clean hotel close to a lot of entertainment
- Stephanie (10/5): - .
- Dustin (2/5): - Rooms ac was off when we got here. According to the thermostat it was 86 in here. Set it for 65 and it got to 74 by the time we woke up. Roughly 16 hrs of non stop running because the air was off and it still never got to temp or close. Shower curtain had hair and someone’s spit on it.
- Corey (10/5): - Great hotel and excellent location directly downtown with great views on the upper floors. The pool and bar were great they are both on the 4th floor. Small indoor pool, its a small property downtown and the pool is inside... Everything was well maintained and service was excellent! Very close to the Arena, shopping restaurants and sports venues.
- Freddie (8/5): - We went to a WNBA game and it was just a 4-5 min walk to the stadium. Plenty of places to eat,(walking distance), our favorite was Zen Thai restaurant bout a 5 min walk from the hotel. There is also a CVS and a grocery store close by. So if you are going to a baseball or WNBA game stay here and walk to your event. The only parking they have is valet ($45)(daily) and they roll up the sidewalk at 9pm, so getting food after that time, GOOD LUCK!!!
- Pena (9/5): Superb -
- Kim (1/5): Bad -
- Nick (10/5): - Very clean, and very nice room
- Jennifer (8/5): - The hotel had no hot water. Yes we did get 15,000 extra points credited back, but to wake up to try to take a shower was not a good result of our stay.
- Steve (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (10/5): - All around great experience. Front desk staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Only issue was the AC in our room was not blowing cool air or staying at the proper temp. We went out for a few hours and came back thinking it would change. Nope. I notified the front desk and they were very apologetic and offered I switch us room. No hassle. No issues. Very impressed. Great time. Would definitely stay here again.
- Julio (8/5): - Very nice as always with Marriot
- briandZ4157KE (8/5): Decent hotel. - Decent courtyard. Decent gym. Very loud due to location. Tremendous amount of cracked out homeless people outside, be careful. Room last are also super small.
Staff need some training on how to be in customer service. Don’t want to help, don’t talk, ask them a question and they ignore.
- Melissa (8/5): - Everything was great except the a/c, room was hot
- Johana (10/5): - Everything was great, from check in, parking and checking out. Service was 10/10.
- Yadira (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (8/5): - 10 minute walk to Foorprint Center. Valet parking.
Little Rituals restaurant/ bar on 4th floor had excellent food. Gym was adequate. Pool had an overwhelming heavy chlorine smell, did not use. Bistro staff attentive, friendly. Appreciated the Vegetarian breakfast choices.
- Michael (8/5): Nice local - Nice location. Sucked that the cocktail bar wasn’t “part of the hotel”. You couldn’t get a drink or a wine even just to bring to your room. They had a beer fridge you could pick something out of for a cost. So that was definitely different. The area was good tho.
- Lorraine (10/5): Exceptional - The location, walking distance to find places to eat. Speedy check-in. Front desk person was friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean and comfortable. The garage has no access to the hotel. Have to walk all the way around to get inside.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Pool hours I would have liked a great morning swim before my day starts.
- HeatherCrowley (6/5): Average Stay for Business - Stayed here for 8 nights for business. The room was a bit dated but did the trick. For example the shower door didn't work, but it was manageable. Has other pros such as a mini fridge, desk to work. Breakfast needs to be paid for but offers standard hot options (scrambled eggs, sausage) and cold (yogurt, fruit)
- Timea (8/5): - Convenient location, good hotel
- Isaac (10/5): - Awesome!!!
- Darline (10/5): - Beautiful hotel and friendly staff!
- Verified traveler (4/5): No parking no family friendly 😔 - No parking offered, you have to pay for parking or if you want valet parking which is literally on the street in front of the hotel you have to pay extra fee. The rooms are tight in space, there are no access to charge your phone or gadgets and the few connections are not working, if you want breakfast you have to pay an extra fee, rooms smell like sweat and old rug, bathroom the showers knob flimsy, too much noise I didn't enjoy my stay I had to do an early check out for that reason, this is my first and last time I stay here
- Jennifer (10/5): - The room was really nice and I loved the big bathroom.
- Robert (6/5): Loud music, bad sleeper sofa - The pull out bed was so uncomfortable as to be unusable. The music from the club kept us awake. The service was fine. Everyone was friendly and they offered to move us, but at that point we just didn’t have it in us to do that. Bathroom was a little rough around the edges.
- Maurice (3/5): Way over paid and shower was freezing on a special occasion - Location, view , close to stores Hot water was cold , check in they took forever to find me thru booking com I had 50$ extra added on i don’t know why, I had to pay 30$ for parking, no free breakfast, room cost 300$ water for shower was freezing was not happy after long day of work on valentines night
- Rana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karla (9/5): Comfortable, one block from Footprint center. Very convenient for a NBA game. - Location. 1 block away from Footprint center. When performing the reservations thru Bookings.com the reservation had my second name and it was mention that the Hotel had parking, but it was not free and had to paid valet parking.
- Salvador (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ana (10/5): - Convenient to venue.
