• Ernie Haryanti (8/5): Okay for a short stay. - Nothing much, normal. The staff is friendly and helpful. I got the superior queen room. Toilet is old and a bit rusty. Tap water has a kind of taste. The hotel is busy with traffic dare not cross over to walk to Nagoya shopping mall eventhou its a walking distance. As expected traffic noise near the road. As we dont spend most of our day in the room so its not that bothering. Hotel provide 2 pillows only, need to pay for IDR 50,000 when requested for extra 2 pcs more 😏. Breakfast is okay, few choices to choose. So so taste.

• Nasz (8/5): Very good for short stay in Batam - We stayed here for only a night. So far all good and we were happy with what we have paid for. Thank you to all hotel staff to make our stay memorable. Have to pay for some extra cost if you need an extra towel for your kid.

• Raj (3/5): Disappointment - Location was walking distance to Nogoya shopping mall. There was very minimum choices on the 1st day and even lesser on the 2nd day of stay. Noodles were dry. No meat on both days served for breakfast. Food could have been better.

End up we also almost give up then we discovered that issues was with the socket. It would be helpful if they checked the socket next time to avoid similar problem.

I have always checked into this hotel every time I visit Batam until AsiaLink Easy took over management after Covid hit that they halted operation to the hotel's iconic Rooftop Lounge. Restaurant services now closes at 9pm instead of the usual midnight. Room wise, TV is very old and has white noise and dots all over every channels we kept switching too. They want business but not willing to pump in the money to maintain amenities. I dont think I am coming back here the next time. I need to find a better hotel in Batam next time round.
• Ernie (4/5): - Still using the old Evitel branded towels/toiletries/etc. Which are horribly old and stained. More than one room in our group had to request for new towels/floor mats/ pillowcases. My first towel was stained. Had an obvious handprint on it. My second towel was worse. They gave me one smelly so strongly of pee (cat? rat?) we recoiled. Had to go out and buy towels. Both to shower with and to cover the pillowcase. First time I, personally, have ever done that. Ask for an extra pillow, told there's a charge. Ask for extra towels, told there's a charge. Ask for handtowels, told they don't have any. But if they did, I'm sure there would have been a charge. Location in general is great. Location specifically is quite a headache. Situated at the corner of a major junction, you can hear everything at all hours. So loud that you can smell the colour of every bike and see the rumble of every truck that passes by. All this being said, the staff we encountered were very pleasant and friendly. Such a shame the hotel itself was so disappointing. Overall, a hard pass

• Boo (8/5): Yummy vegan breakfast spread, must try. - Delicious vegetarian breakfast served in the morning, my fussy family really enjoyed the breakfast spread. We were pleasantly surprise at the quality & standard of the breakfast buffet. Our 2 rooms were interconnected as requested, they've provided earlier check in. However, our rooms were near the road thus there's abit of traffic noise at night. For light sleepers do request for quieter rooms. The staff were prompt & helpful for any issues raised.

• Brindha (5/5): Overall value for money. - The breakfast had a small spread but the taste was good. Freshly made omelettes to order was a bonus. Beds are comfortable in general, but could have provided more pillows(only 2 pillows provided) One or 2 of the rooms had a very bad sewer smell from the bathroom, which pervaded the whole room. The overnight staff took ages to sort it out. The morning staff were more prompt in addressing the issue. Should provide handsoaps, hand towels in the bathrooms.
• Sherpa67246698660 (4/5): Poorly Maintained Asialink East - We booked a total of 10 rooms including twins and double for a 3 days 2 nights stay in Batam recently. On the day when we arrived at the hotel at 2.30 local time, only 3 rooms were ready while 7 rooms would be ready around 5pm local time. We were disappointed as we expected check-in at 2pm but it did not happen. Next, we temporarily occupied the 3 rooms and left all our luggage in these 3 rooms first before we decided to explore Batam. We tested to see if the equipment was working in the rooms, the TV had to be replaced from another room while the next room's remote control was not working and had to be replaced by the housekeeping team. Aircon was at 17 degrees but could not feel the coolest. There was a strong stenchy smell from the toilet shower outlet. It was so bad that we asked for housekeeping people to check on it. They came and sprayed air refresher and covered the water outlet with a small soap hoping that the smell will go away. Some of the balance rooms indeed had the same problem too. When asked to change our rooms, they gave the excuse that there were no rooms available and that the maintenance team will look at it by the time we returned. Breakfast was very limited and not much of varieties. Overall, it was not a hotel that I would go to unless they maintain or upgrade this place. Some of the room facing was bad and the toilet bowls were placed so close to the sink it was difficult to sit on it. An overhaul of this place is really required.
• Tyrone (2/5): Never Coming back to this Hotel. - General Location was good. Shocking to book a deluxe room only to find your room is in the middle of the building. Which means when you open the windows, you're looking at the corridor and the doors of the other rooms. You wouldn't want to open your Windows at all. Paid for Deluxe but settle for a Superior room because of this. I understand this is a scale-down version of the other Asialink Hotel, which I've also stayed. You're only given one key card, room only had 2 flat pillows and 2 old and dirty towels from the previous hotel. Air-Con was leaking, The main door couldn't lock. Strangely a weird pillar with mirrors was in the center of the room. Worst of all, Wi-fi wasn't working at all. For the price you can't expect a Good Breakfast. Extremely simple one day but did get better the next day.
