• Shaun (9/5): Wonderful hospitality and location - Stephen and Eileen were warm and welcoming hosts who went to great lengths to make my stay a pleasant one. The location is beautiful. The irish breakfast was delicious. Far from shops and services, but close to the beautiful scenery.

• Cody (10/5): A homey and inviting atmosphere in the peaceful countryside - Steven, Rosie, and Eileen were incredibly kind and accommodating. They gave us great pointers about what to see and where to go, accommodated our arrival time even though we were three hours late, told hilarious stories, and made excellent breakfast. We were lucky as well and got to hold the newborn puppies of their two dogs. A wonderful family and a great place to stay. Attached are pictures of one of the puppies, a view of the ocean just down the road, and some of the sheep friends you can find all around the area.

• Philippe (2/5): - Qu'avez vous aimé !!!??? A oublier...Je déconseille fortement... A notre arrivée, l'hôte ne savait même pas qui elle accueillait.. Chambre exiguë.. impossible d'ouvrir les valises sans les mettre sur le lit... Accueil très minimaliste voire inexistant... Pour le soir, il fallait rentrer avant minuit sinon porte close...sachant que le lieu de restauration le plus proche est à 30 mn... Réveil matin maison à 7h...Le chien qui aboie devant la fenêtre...Et pour finir, le petit déjeuner...Avec le café, une tranche de pain de mie toastée coupée en deux par personne, quelques fruits, des céréales et c'est tout .... Seule la vue était à la hauteur... Très décevant, l'accueil et la qualité des hébergements en Irlande nous avaient habitué à beaucoup beaucoup mieux !!!!

The breakfast was outstanding and generous. Really enjoyed my authentic Irish experience with this home and family. Make sure you take a walk up the road at sunrise (or sunset). Very pretty.
• Apurva (10/5): If you are up for gorgeous views, and awesome host like Stephen, this is the place for you. - The location of the property is great and very convenient for people who want to explore Downpatrick Head. The view from the stay is gorgeous. And the host - Stephen is really good and friendly. We had so much chatting with him. We enjoyed our stay so much. Just that we thought there are not many restaurants nearby, just the community centre so if you are looking for dinner options, have dinner before going there.

• Steve (9/5): Warm and inviting, away from the hustle and bustle, enjoy the wild Atlantic with wonderful hosts, - The location was slightly off the main route, remote and also very welcoming. You get a small taste of the countryside that you otherwise would not get in the villages.

• Ken (8/5): Wonderful Hosts - Steve and Eilene were wonderful hosts. The traditional Irish breakfast was great. The B&B has a slight view of the water but the immediate area has some stunning views. Curtains were a bit dusty. The room and ensuite toilet were a bit small, but the sitting room helped make it feel bigger.

• Peter (8/5): Just what we needed and the area has cliffs similar to Cliffs of Mohr and also a Neolithic display - Generous traditional Irish served by the host Stephen, great to chat with and find out about him and his experiences The rugged location gave us a a true Atlantic Coast experience Nearest town for dinner and music half an hour away but to be expected for the location.Stephen did offer to cook his staple go to, chicken but the town experience and music was great

They take time to speak, tell about their life and the life of the local community. This made our three-day stay a vivid and lovely experience in the middle of nature wilderness! Nothing!

Full Irish breakfast included. If you plan to go out to eat bear in mind that the B&B lies in the middle of nowhere. Perfect for relaxation and slowing down.

• Salvatore (8/5): A casa di un simpatico pescatore - Il bed and breakfast si trova piuttosto lontano dai grandi flussi turistici; anzi, è isolato in un paesaggio meravigliosamente desolato, fatto di pascoli e di oceano in lontananza. Il tempo piovviginoso incontrato quel pomeriggio non ha reso giustizia al paesaggio circostante. Comodo comunque per visitare la contea di Mayo e il Dun Briste, lo scoglio isolato e imponente dove si narra di un miracolo di San Patrizio. Torniamo alla casa: sembra di essere in una casa di anziani zii o nonni e il proprietario è un anziano pescatore in pensione. Simpaticissimo. Difficile comunicare con il suo accento irish, ma ha un sorriso che vale più di mille parole. Accogliente, allegro, simpatico, disponibile a dare il massimo per i propri ospiti. Ha cucinato la cena per noi con quello che aveva in frigorifero: top! Nulla di più informale e di accogliente per me. Impossibile da lì raggiungere qualsiasi altro ristorante, ma si è mangiato bene e il nostro ospite è molto bravo in cucina, premuroso nel servizio e gentile nello scambiare qualche chiacchiera con gli ospiti. Anche la colazione è bella ricca e buona. All'occorrenza si può chiedere di avere l'irish breakfast, ma per me è un pò "too much" di primo mattino. Camera spaziosa arredata come in un quaderno di Hollie & Hobbie. Bagno condiviso, ma pulitissimo e spazioso. Da ritornarci. Un pò distante da tutto, ma questo è il bello della sistemazione.

• L.N (9/5): Buona recensione - Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare in questo incantevole posto, immerso nella natura. La posizione è idilliaca, immersa in un paesaggio verde e con uno sguardo verso l'oceano. L'host è stato cordiale e accogliente, facendoci sentire come a casa. La possibilità di fissare la cena (con un supplemento) è stata una sorpresa piacevole che cj ha evitato altri km per cercare un pib o ristorante, e devo dire che la colazione irlandese servita è stata deliziosa!
