Manos gave us a plenty of good tips and he was always available to help, we’re very thankful as it was our first time visiting there. The house itself was convenient, really in centre of Santorini. They’re plenty of things happening around/in Pyrgos but still the location was hidden with the view of wineyard😍 Everything was there: fridge, pots, iron etc. We loved spending time on the terraces- we highly recommend it! • Marie-Céline (10/5): 3 jours superbes chez Manos à l'Ampelos Executive Houses - -La grande gentillesse, les conseils et la disponibilité de Manos, qui a été aux petits soins pour nous. -L'accueil chaleureux et tout ce qu'il faut pour le premier petit-déjeuner. -La situation géographique des appartements, à Pyrgos, quasiment au centre de Santorin, ce qui permet d'aller sur tout site rapidement. -La tranquillité (fin octobre), le confort et la propreté des appartements, très bien équipés, d'une surface appréciable, y compris pour la salle de bain, accessibles directement depuis la cour par 4 marches qui donnent sur la terrasse. -La terrasse avec muret, équipée d'une grande table devant l'entrée de chaque appartement. -La vaste cour pour se garer, et pour jouer au ballon pour les enfants, très pratique pour que les adultes puissent discuter entre eux (jeux de plage mis aussi à disposition)! -La vue dégagée sur les vignes et la mer depuis la pièce principale et la chambre du bas du duplex, depuis la chambre pour l'appartement 1 chambre.

He welcomed us with a warm reception that went beyond our expectations, including a map and a detailed explanation about the island. The apartment was spotless and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, it even had paper for the toaster! Manos also kindly allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated. • Christian (10/5): Manos ridefinisce il concetto di ospitalità. Semplicemente Unico. - Tutto. Incredibilmente tutto. Manos è stato uno straordinario padrone di casa accogliendoci con tutte le migliori indicazioni per scoprire Santorini e tutte le sue perle, nascoste ai più. Non solo, è stata una presenza discreta e costante pronta a supportarci in tutte le nostre necessità, a volte anche anticipandole. L'appartamento non poteva che essere il riflesso del proprietario e del suo staff: pulito, ordinato, completo in tutto. Due terrazzini, uno vista mare (perdonaci Manos, ma non siamo riusciti a svegliarci all'alba e goderci il momento dal terrazzino della camera), l'altro sull'ingresso, ampio e perfetto per gli aperitivi post spiaggia e per le cene in intimità. Il parcheggio davanti il cancello e il tubo dell'acqua all'occorrenza. Che altro dire, quando si torna a casa si lascia qualcosa indietro, noi ci portiamo una fantastica esperienza e soprattutto un amico in più! ευχαριστώ Il vento di Santorini sa essere molto fastidioso, ma questo non ha assolutamente inficiato il soggiorno.
• Emilia (10/5): - Siamo stati ad Ampelos Executive Houses in un gruppo di 13 persone (7 adulti e 6 ragazzi) e abbiamo soggiornato in tre appartamenti davvero splendidi. Fin dal primo giorno ci siamo sentiti a casa, accolti con grande calore da Manos, il proprietario. Ad attenderci c’era un kit di benvenuto che ci ha subito fatto sorridere: frutta fresca, acqua, un dolce e una bottiglia di ottimo vino bianco, perfetta per brindare all’inizio della nostra vacanza. Manos è una persona straordinaria: sempre presente ma mai invadente, con la sua gentilezza e la sua discrezione ci ha coccolati per tutta la settimana. Con mappa alla mano ci ha guidati alla scoperta dei luoghi più autentici e suggestivi di Santorini, e ogni suo consiglio si è rivelato prezioso e azzeccato. Anche di fronte a piccoli imprevisti, come la mancanza di acqua o di elettricità — eventi non dipendenti dalla struttura — è stato pronto a sostenerci e indicarci come affrontarli con calma. Gli appartamenti, oltre a essere moderni e confortevoli, venivano puliti ogni giorno dalla dolcissima Spiridulla, che con il suo sorriso e la sua cura ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Santorini è un’isola meravigliosa, e questa vacanza è stata indimenticabile anche grazie a Manos, che con la sua ospitalità sincera ha reso tutto unico. Peccato che le recensioni arrivino solo fino a 5 stelle: Ampelos e il suo proprietario ne meriterebbero almeno 6. Se un giorno torneremo a Santorini, non avremo dubbi: sceglieremo di nuovo Ampelos Executive Houses..

• Aleksandra (10/5): Bardzo polecam! - Manos gospodarz domu. Bardzo pomocny! Poświęcił nam dużo czasu żeby opowiedzieć co warto zobaczyć, gdzie zjeść, które plaże wybrać. Na przywitanie były owoce, winko i podstawowe produkty na śniadanie.
• Wentao (10/5): - Property was very clean, and overlooked a vineyard where we could watch the sunrise. The owner Manos was extremely hospitable and kind to us, giving us various snacks and drinks, as well as recommendations and tips for travelling on the island. He is very responsive on WhatsApp as well, and responded instantly to any questions. Would highly recommend booking this place.
• Zivelonghi (10/5): Un soggiorno da ricordare - La struttura era molto accogliente, ampia e ben organizzata. Ma l'elemento differenziante è stato l'host Manos che ci ha dato un'accoglienza e un servizio senza eguali: all'arrivo ci ha atteso, facilitandoci con un check in anticipato, ci ha dedicato molto tempo con utili consigli per il soggiorno, regolarmente si informava sull'andamento della vacanza e ci aggiornava su eventi particolari del luogo. Alla partenza ci ha dato la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli e di poter usufruire di un'area tranquilla in attesa del volo. In aggiunta a tutto ciò le pulizie dell'appartamento avvenivano giornalmente e quasi sempre la cosa includeva il cambio degli asciugamani. Ogni tre giorni venivano cambiate anche le lenzuola. Venivano rifornite perfino le cialde del caffè, il detersivo per i piatti, la carta igienica e l'asciugatutto. Personalmente non ho mai trovato un appartamento che fornisse tutti questi servizi. Non ci sono davvero parole. Grazie Manos! È stato tutto perfetto.

Casa situata al centro dell'isola, comoda base di partenza per visitare tutte le bellezze del luogo. Ha tutto quello che serve per un soggiorno anche duraturo. • Emma (10/5): Maravillosa estancia. - Nos encantó el apartamento y su ubicación. El apartamento estaba muy limpio, era amplio y contaba con todo lo necesario para la estancia. Manos, el propietario, ha sido super amable y nos ha ayudado con recomendaciones sobre lugares, restaurantes, y con lo que necesitásemos😊. Nos recibió aunque llegásemos por la noche y nos recomendó dónde contratar el coche, que también resultó muy buen servicio. Nos limpiaban el apartamento cada día y nos reponían papel, toallas, café y champú. También, el primer día nos dejaron agua, opciones para desayunar, leche y zumo. Sin duda este apartamento es muy recomendable, está en el centro de la isla, con fácil acceso a los diferentes puntos de interés en poco tiempo y en un entorno con vistas muy bonitas. Nos vamos muy agradecidas y es un diez!

Right from the beginning, he explained the full apartment and guided us so nicely on the attractions around Santorini. The home was very nicely done and comfortable. All the necessary equipment and amenities transform this location into a perfect holiday destination. And the best part? The owner, Manos, is the most helpful person I have ever met in our holidays ever. Want to have an airport transfer? Call Manos. Want to get recommendations for the best places in Santorini where the locals eat and party? Call Manos. Want to rent a car or a local transfer for the best price? Call Manos. In the end there is only one conclusion: Better Call Manos!

The manager was super nice and friendly, he recommended many spots for us to sightsee and dine, also accommodating us everyday and making sure we had the best experience. Wonderful service.

Manos is the best host, attentive and kind, and with perfect attention to detail. He took care of everything for us, from transfer from the airport to booking a tour, and recommending restaurants and the best sights. We wish we stayed longer! The apartments are close to the airport and in a quiet place, but it's far from the main attractions, so it's better to rent a vehicle.

He made sure to provide all the information we needed about the house and Santorini. • Luisa (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful stay at Manos’ one bedroom apartment! It was clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious, had very good Wi-Fi and a view of the ocean and vineyard. Plenty of parking right outside the apartment. We loved sitting on the balcony for breakfast in the morning, before heading out sightseeing. Manos is an excellent host! He provided us with many sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. Thank you for the bottle of wine, water, juice, fruit and plenty of ingredients to put together hearty breakfasts during our stay. Manos' apartment is a great base to explore the Santorini!!
• Shelagh (10/5): Exceptional - The location worked for us, it was walking distance to pyrgos village which was as beautiful as Fira but without the crowds. Manos was exceptional. I had a middle of the night ferry arrival and Manos organized a transfer and access. What could have been awful was ready and stress free. Thank you. Lots of small touches (such as fruit and breakfast essentials) and responsiveness of Manos made this exceptional. We felt we had a personal concierge. Not being picky but the single seater armchair was not very comfortable.

• Warfield (10/5): Not fancy but just perfect! - Manos and his father Christopher were so kind and helpful. They supplied bacon, eggs, bread, butter. OJ, Milk, wine, water, fruit, cookies and other things to help out. This was a blessing since we were there over Christmas and some of the markets were closed. All the appropriate cookwear and kitchen items were present to cook a meal on Christmas day. We only shopped for those ingredients. They also left a very thoughtful Christmas gift made in Greece, for a remembered trip. The bed was very comfortable for us. This location is perfect if you rent a car to explore the island since it's fairly central and parking is immediately present in front of the home. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to others. I cannot really complain at all, it was a very nice place to stay.

• Xianfan (10/5): Best stay - It was one of my best experiences staying at Ampelos!! Manos is such a gem. Even before we met him, he's been so helpful, with giving tips on how to reach the apartment, and offers to book for transfers. He also gave us a lot of recommendations on where to visit and what to eat. All the restaurants he recommended are not tourist traps and reasonably priced for Santorini. The location is a bit hard to get to if you don't have a car as you have to walk on the narrow road after the bus. But after the first day we got used to it. Such a wonderful stay and I would recommend anyone to stay with Manos!!!

Even though Mr Manos himself was not in town, his father received us. Both of them were very responsive and accommodative towards our requests. A quite location for a great family time. A great host. Nothing. Since we were there on Christmas day, there was no public transport. But the cabs were more then willing to meet our requirements.

• Laura (10/5): The only thing I would change is how long we stayed! - Man's took the time to welcome us to Santorini. He helped us solidify what we wanted to do on the island. His tips for restaurants and dining were incredible. Based on what we decided, he also provided us with a resource for renting a car. The apartment was a little outside of the village and incredibly quiet and serene. We slept well each night we were there. The apartment was full of little extras that made our stay feel like home.

The host is super nice, always ready to help, recommended lot of amazing places to eat and to visit. The house is clean, spacious with nice view and terrace. We traveled with our toddler, they provided everything for him (crib, chair, cuttlery, shampoo and shower gel for babies) and he could play safely inside and outside. It is the nice quiet place, if we will come back once, we would definitely revisit this accomodation.

• Arnab (10/5): A wonderful host and a great stay - Manos is a wonderful host. Nothing was too much trouble. There was a welcome pack and a leaving gift! The location is away from the main towns and it is best to hire a car to explore the island. It is ideal for a couple with kids, as the mezzanine floor bedroom has some height restriction. Would recommend going to Pyrgos town for the sunset: it is a hidden treasure. Book a table to Franco's in advance to get the best seats for the sunset (not recommended for anyone with mobility issues). The kitchen is basic and could do with some larger knives, would have come in handy to cut the huge juicy watermelons which are for sale everywhere.

Manos made sure that we were well taken care of meeting our every needs. Going above and beyond to book our tours, arranging bbq, making sure we were comfortable, informing us about tourist destinations to visit and he had a wealth of knowledge. He took the time in every request and left no stone untouched. The property itself was very comfortable and had everything that we required for a one week vacation. Including amenities, all kitchen utensils and every household goods. We can't thank him enough that he made our holiday a walk in the park. With great communication and quick response! We arrived past midnight and he waited up to do a run through of the house and the places to go in Santorini. Also made sure that our stay was comfortable with all amenities provided. Ampelos is located in the middle of the island so the airport, the post, Oia, Akrotiri are all a short drive away. None, but make sure to rent a car or WTV for convenience

The apartment was very clean, spacious and had stunning views. We had everything we needed to also cook when we felt like it. The host is a really kind and hospitable person, I've received so many recommendations about food, interesting places etc from him in the first stay day. • PI ER (10/5): It’s was beyond our expectations - We really enjoyed staying in this house. It was well located with nice view, clean, big and easy to park in front of the house. The landlord is caring especially for family with kids, he gave us pieces of advice for the locations to visit. There are olive oil, salt, jam,butter, toast, welcome drinks (milk, juice, a bottle of wine)… in the kitchen. For the kids, he provides a bath kit for kids, baby sling, kid size slippers, baby high chair. We highly recommend this house.

He helped me to arrange the car rental, he provided some food, water, and good advices to explore the island. The house is located about 800m from Pyrgos village. It's a good 10mins by foot and you can take the bus from there. I highly recommend renting a car. In Pyrgos you can fin mini market, some beautiful cafés and some restaurant. Lidl supermarket is also not far from the house. The view is good and the apartment is huge, providing everything you might need (I have highly appreciated a good coffee machine in the house). I definitely recommend Ampelos. Efkaristo poli Manos!
• Aleksandra (10/5): Brilliant host and great facilities- everything you need is there - We loved our stay, everything about the house was perfect. Manos is a very communicative, helpful and kind host. Manos helped us arrange transportation from the port on the day of our arrival and greeted us in the house with everything we could need in the house for our stay- including food such as milk, bread etc for our stay so we didn't need to rush to the supermarket. We also got some brilliant recommendations on what to see, where to go and where to eat which is exactly what we needed. The house is located a short drive away from the more central places which is great as it is quiet, without a car, the walk can be quite tiring after a long day of exploring. On the day of our departure, Manos also helped arrange transportation to the airport and came to say goodbye with some of his favourite biscuits to sweeten up our waiting time at the airport- this was a very kind gesture but also those biscuits have now also become our favourite and we bought loads of supplies during our onward journey in Greece! Massive thank you to Manos, the best host you can ask for!

• Tiffany (9/5): Superb - My family and I had a wonderful stay here! The space was good enough for a group of 6 adults and had a lot of amenities. What made it very exceptional for us was how wonderful and helpful Manos, the host, was. Even before getting there he was very quick to respond to any questions I had. He helped us book a port pick up and also helped us book a rental car for a good deal! Then as we arrived, he was there to greet us and give many helpful tips on how to enjoy our stay on the island. He even gave us these cookies/crackers before leaving which my family and I ended up loving and even bought some to take with us home! My family and I enjoyed that it was away from the busy streets and away from the main touristy areas. An added bonus was that you can see the beautiful sunrise in the morning right from your living room window or balcony! Would absolutely stay here again when we come back and would definitely recommend to others! Not a bad thing but just an advice: this place is away from the main road and away from the main touristy place (which we actually liked!) so definitely consider renting a car. There are buses to take but you will waste time waiting for it.

The view on the vinewayrd is really nice when you get up in the morning. The owner is very attentive, kind and always available. He is efficient and has plenty of good tips, already ready to arrange your tickets for your next sightseeing. Golden owner! For the person that has light sleep, the near road can be of disturbance. Make sure you rent the further house of the complex. Good trip to Santorini !

He was incredibly supportive and friendly throughout our stay, always available to answer any questions or help with any issues. The apartment itself was cozy and warm, making it a comfortable place to stay even on chilly days. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches he added, such as providing extra food that we enjoy a lot. Overall, I highly recommend staying at this apartment and would gladly do so again in the future. we didn’t have time to enjoy balcony because of the cold weather. but it is of course not a problem of the place
