- Geoffrey (6/5): - We did not realise this was an upstairs pub room with shared facilities but that was OK. We thought the pub had a separate motel complex, but you live and learn. The stairs were very very steep and in fact could be dangerous. The corridor floor creaked and groaned when you walked on it so any one walking past could be heard in the bedrooms. The aircon to warm the room up was useless and very noisy. Food was great
- Vernon (3/5): Poor -
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karin (5/5): Passable - Rooms were spacious and clean. Meals were great. Event was enjoyable. Advertised a continental breakfast but just cereal available. No fruit or bread. No where to wash bowls and cups and dirty dishes still on table next day. Tables and equipment (microwave and toaster) needed a good clean.
- Ashlee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wennie (8/5): Very good - The hotel is in the middle of town, which makes access to everything very easy and convenient. Being in the riverfront makes it even more relaxing. The continental breakfast included was greatly appreciated, especially with kids. More value for the price. Love our stay!
- Sarah (5/5): All the floors are uneven it makes them hard to work in the hallways - That sort of money you should have your own ensuite
- Karen (8/5): Very good - Location was excellent as my partner's band was playing at The Mannum Club NYE.
Breakfast supplied was ok. Would have liked to have toaster. Condiments supplied Previous comment says it. Everything else was fine. This is the second NYE we have stayed and hoping to stay more.
- Leeanne (9/5): Superb - Location was perfect and our meal was very good
- Ashwani (4/5): - Wotif did not make it clear that the property had shared bathroom. While the property did not meet our expectations, the staff were great.
- Danny (9/5): Superb - The room was away from the dining and gaming. Even though had shared bathroom it felt very private and was well set out. We had an issue with room and it was sort quickly and promptly with no issues. The stairs up to the room were a little narrow and steep but otherwise fine.
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mari (10/5): Very convenient and good value - Easy access. Shared bathroom and showers were clean and well maintained. We were able to go in and out at unusual hours and not disturb anyone. The staff were friendly and helpful and dinner in the downstairs pub was delightful. The top bunk was a bit precarious for an adult male so we put the mattress on the floor and the problem was solved
- Roper (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (7/5): The air conditioner was beautiful it was a hot day so we loved our stay - The food was great the service was great but sharing a toilet and shower with men was not too good
- Manuel (5/5): Passable -
- Jacqueline (8/5): - I didnt like that you didnt know where to check in, there was no signage
- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Christine (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kendall (5/5): It was ok, its one of those "you get what you pay for" - Location was great, the lass that checked us in was wonderful. Non smart tv, tv that was in the room had a universal remote that didn't work properly. Floor boards were creaky, really feel for the rooms that were in the hallway that led to the shared bathroom facilities.
- Collins (10/5): Exceptional - The restaurant was beautiful.
The staff were amazing and helpful.
The room was lovely and well presented
- Davinder (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bendtsen (7/5): Good -
- Rick (10/5): - Old pub accommodation charm

Very friendly staff.
Amazing location.
- Michael (10/5): - Modern for old building. Pub was very good. Showers awesome
- Wendy (6/5): - Shared bathroom was not indicated on booking. Very loud creaking floors in room and hall to shared bathroom. Great food in dining area with accomodation average. Complimentary Continental breaky unexpected.
- Harpreet (3/5): Okay - Location was good but cleaniness isnot good dishes weredirty They don't clean the dishes properly no cleaning the rooms
- Loft (10/5): Friendly staff. Cheap accommodation. Not 5 stars but good cheap accommodation. - Happy staff Nothing
- Merilyn (6/5): Pretoria hotel - Location bed was comfortable. Stairs and shared bathroim. Floor was uneven and creaky. Leaving at7.30 am was difficult no staff around
- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Bernadette (9/5): Convenient - Location and facilities Nothing

- Jessica (9/5): Great place to stay - Fantastic place to stay. Restaurant downstairs. Comfortable beds. Very well maintained. No private toilet or shower
- Tabby (4/5): Won’t stay again - Breakfast was good
View was beautiful Room smelt
Floor was very squeaky
- Leon (8/5): - not bad
- Mayank (8/5): Very good - Next to the river bank
Walking distance to local shops, information centre, cafe and food
Shared meal area offers milk, water and a range of cereal The room light is very dim and not much natural light.
- Kylie (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (4/5): Disappointing - Food was good The room did have a strange smell
- Dias (8/5): Very good -
- Michaela (4/5): Disappointing -
- Eleni (4/5): Disappointing -
- Cheryl (8/5): - The room was clean and the bed comfy, but was fairly basic. The bathroom facilities are shared, and while clean, they certainly need updating. It's a fine line between keeping the charm of an old hotel while having modern bedroom facilities. The dining room is lovely and the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Downstairs amenities were clean and modern, just upstairs needs a little attention. Overall we did enjoy our stay.
- Juliet (3/5): Poor - No heating
- Jiselle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judy (6/5): It was fine overall. - Room was nice with comfortable beds and a/c. Sitting on the balcony was nice. Lucky for us no smokers there but there is an ashtray. Breakfast room (with cereal and long life milk) has character. The shared unisex bathroom was definitely a surprise. We luckily didn't meet anyone else when using it. I would have preferred knowing about that first as room not very cheap. As 2 friends staying one had large bed and the other lower bunk in a family room. Electrical cords and dodgy toaster in the breakfast room. No butter knives or plates but we had our own butter and spreads luckily.
- Peter (4/5): Disappointing -
