Guest Reviews
- Lynn (6/5): Good place to stay while traveling - Convenient to airport No shuttle service. I waited at airport for 50 min despite speaking to someone at hotel for shuttle service. Worker didn’t show up to work and the man attended couldn’t leave his place. Desk man was very nice though. Wish I would have been told that 50 min earlier!!!
- Daniel (1/5): - I got charged twice
- suzanne (10/5): - Reliable. Good breakfast
- Marsha (7/5): Our stay was fine, might stay there again sometime, as it is close to medical facilities. - Breakfast was fine. Coffee was really strong, maybe too strong. Lots of tv channels. Couldn't get the air conditioner to work to our liking. Bath towels were too coarse. Didn't like paying for parking.
- Michael (8/5): - I liked the location as I flew into Love Field. Also like the location as it was close to a DART station which I used. Breakfast was good.
- Anwar (8/5): Love it - The people N/A
- Kimberly (10/5): - Room was clean, cool, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. I requested to be moved to another room due to a barking dog in the room next to me and they handled that quickly and with no fuss. The only negative to the room was one of the electrical outlets on the bedside lamp did not work.
- Charles (10/5): - Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable rooms with delightful beds. Shower was great! Nice breakfast/area. Zip
- shanel (6/5): - The room was very nice but the neighborhood had alot of homeless people and the parking is wide open. People who lived in the apartments behind were parking and getting deliveries in the hotel parking lot. There are a few food options nearby. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable.
- Tania (8/5): Hotel muito bom - Limpa e ampla
- Audra (6/5): Loved the ease of getting to from airport and might use it again . - Location close to airport was amazing. Phone didn’t work in the room and not enough staff working. I felt bad for the front desk staff because we asked for towels and such for the room and she couldn’t leave until a driver came back. Possibly 3 people on staff later in the evening would help.
- Donald (9/5): -
- McAdoo (8/5): - Facilities and Room were nice, distance from airport was perfect for early flight. Breakfast was great. No one at front desk. About a dozen people waiting and there was a conversation about what was good to eat around the area with im guessing the manager while everyone waited to get checked in.
- Sherry (10/5): - It very clean and the staff friendly.
- Sean (2/5): - I stayed here for a week and after four days developed bites and rashes all over my body. I informed the front desk and was moved to another room for the last two nights, with a promise of compensation. No manager was on duty at the time. Days later, I still hadn’t received a call from a manager. Each time I tried to follow up, my calls went unanswered—until I called from a different number, at which point they picked up immediately. I was then told the manager “wasn’t available until later.” The hotel itself was fine, but the staff’s lack of follow-through and assistance was unacceptable. I’m still dealing with the aftermath of this experience. I won’t be returning or recommending this property.
- Denis (4/5): - We chose this hotel because of a promo for Free Parking when reserving a King Suite. When we arrived the receptionist said they never give free parking. I showed her a screenshot of the reservation which showed free parking. She then gave us the stinkiest room.
- JamieLee (8/5): - Nice clean and new hotel with nice staff. Kind of strange industrial airport parking & rental car kind of neighborhood
- sam (6/5): 😞😩🙁 - Nobody hardly ever at front desk. Might as well be the Aloft! ☹️
- Michael (4/5): - This is my second time at this property which is both an Element and an Aloft. The last time the front desk was chaotic and disorganized - staff chatting with friends, getting in each others way, slow and confused. Maybe a one-off, it happens.
But this time, while they acknowledged that we had pre-paid Expedia reservations, the desk clerk could not give us a room. Why? Don't know.
We were asked to wait for the manager. So we waited. And waited. And finally I gave up, went to the desk and paid a second time for the room. Did the management come to us offering to make things right? Nope. Apology? Nope.
Sat at the bar to order drinks. No bartender. Waited, and still no bartender and this was on a Saturday night. So I walked into the kitchen and asked if anyone could pour me a drink. A cook came out, did her best, but did not know how to collect payment. So again, it was wait for the manager, who finally showed up and seemed baffled by his own computer system. I gave up, slapped down a 20 and walked away with my drinks.
The impression I had on the first stay was confirmed: this hotel is not well managed. I don't blame the clearly under-trained desk clerk, or the willing cook, this is a management issue.
- Rachquel (10/5): - Love the person that I checked in with she was super friendly and awesome
- David (4/5): Too noisy/ Limited Parking - Very busy and noisy hotel. Not enough parking.
- Alexis (4/5): - The first room had an AC that didn’t work. I had to go back downstairs to get another room. The second room was a bit dirty, fridge/microwave were open when I went in the room. The shade was broken so it wouldn’t close letting sun and light in from outside. The panel in bathroom was closed. The bed was uncomfortable and smelled weird. Toiletries were missing. Dishwasher was leaking. Please contact if you’d like pictures I took.
- pkde1985 (2/5): No Air in Summer - I stayed at Element Dallas Love Field June 1st – 2nd. When I checked in on the 1st, the air wasn’t working. It stopped working again on the 2nd. I had late checkout, so it wasn’t like I left early in the day. I used the chat feature with the hotel and they never responded. The outside temperature was over 90°F, so I’m sure you can imagine how hot it was in the room. Maintenance said that the air compressor was broken. After he left the 3rd time, the wall panel fell. Upon checkout, I spoke with a gentleman about the issues and he said that he’d add 2,000 points to my account. It has been a month and those points haven’t been added. I’ve also reached out to Bonvoy and Zena at the hotel multiple times and she hasn’t responded. 2000 points isn’t actually a lot in the grand scheme of Bonvoy point redemption and Element Dallas couldn’t even make good on that promise.
- Dennis (10/5): Overall stay was good! - The room was pretty nice and very spacious. The parking in the back
- Reggie (10/5): Great pet friendly location - Close to the airport. Shuttle drivers were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast and front desk were welcoming. Room was great I enjoyed everything
- David (10/5): - Great stay!
- Wear (8/5): Very good -
- Aaron (10/5): - Very modern facility with very clean and pleasant rooms!
- Ivy (10/5): - Nice for a 2-day stay.
- rasheedaf2024 (10/5): Accommodating - This hotel was really nice and very accommodating. Douglas and Mark (night audit) was truly friendly and went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Jennifer fixed an issue we had with no hesitation we need more people like them. The customer service was great and if I’m ever in the area I will most definitely choose this hotel.
- James (8/5): All good - Quite pleased with my stay in a very nice hotel. The only problem was they charged for parking by mistake when I had a room that said free parking on the hotel’s.com website, even after I checked the folio had no charge on it. Had to take time on the phone to get the credit
- Gema (4/5): - I really really wanted to like this hotel based on the photos however I was really disappointed. Check in was smooth but I didn’t get the pool view as per my booking. Upon arrival to the room i immediately noticed dog hair all over the furniture, human hair stuck on the wall inside the bathroom. There is a black hand smudges all over the door. The shower head looked liked it needed a good cleaning with vinegar to get rid of all the calcium buildup. The nightstand on the side I slept on had black crust (maybe mascara) on it, you can tell housekeeping didn’t clean it at all. The carpet also had a lot of human hair that was not mine. We also noticed housekeeping did not come around the entire time we stayed (3 nights). Bed was really comfortable but the sheets were not soft at all, they might as well cover yourself in burlap fabric. lastly when we looked under the sink for some paper towels we noticed black mold under the kitchen sink.
- Kathy (10/5): - Easy checkin. Clean comfortable quiet room.
- Joshua (10/5): Great place to stay. - Location and room was comfortable.
- Robert (10/5): - Friendly staff, clean rooms and lots of restaurant choices by the hotel.
- Brieanna (8/5): - Enjoyed our get away weekend! 10 out of 10 would stay again!
- Shannon (6/5): Pleasant -
- Caroline (10/5): - The staff on the Element side were very nice and attentive. The hotel is close to the airport and close to the Highland Park area making it a convenient and affordable place to stay. We will stay there again on our next trip to the big D...
- Kamren (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): - Getting in or out of parking lot and spaces for parking were very narrow.
- Koenig (10/5): Exceptional - All in all amazing stay.
- Amy (10/5): Fun - Location low key gym
- Russell (3/5): Poor -
- Erika (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meredith (7/5): Adequate - Convenience The black out roller shade was askew and raised. It was obvious that neither maintenance nor housekeeping had worked with it. But very obvious to anyone entering the room. When we tried to lower it, it was off the track and a mess in the upper roller. My husband and I worked with it until we were able to lower it completely. Knowing this part of the privacy/sleeping environment was ignored showed the overall feeling of the property.
- Alicea (1/5): Was absolutely horrid!! -
- Helen (10/5): - Good value for being able to have fridge, induction stove, kitchen sink, and microwave; also spacious bathroom and spacious room with desk and couch. Good value for a stay when you are on a work trip and want to come back to ample space with multiple functions
- Erika (8/5): Very good - Great location, excellent shuttle service and amazing room. The front desk staff was not helpful at all and rude.
- Ethel (10/5): 5 star hotel and location near airport with shuttle - Clean and comfortable N/A
- Caren (8/5): - Great location to Dallas Love.
- Kellye (10/5): Great hotel - Such a clean hotel, always. The staff is friendly and check in is a breeze! The parking fee is only $10 which is nice.
- Meyers (8/5): Very good -
- Roberta (8/5): Comfortable, Clean & Convenient - I only spent 1 short night. I chose it because it’s very close to Dallas Love Airport and they offer a free shuttle. Only about 5 minutes away, the shuttle runs every 30 minutes. It was convenient and on time for my early morning flight. My room on the 4th floor was modern, spacious and very clean. It had 2 queen beds, a little soft for me, a comfortable sofa, a large screen tv, and a kitchen stocked with dishes and pots & pans. It also had filtered water from the sink faucet. No table though, just a desk/counter with 1 chair. I loved the large window with a few of the area. It had power shades that worked fine. The soundproofing was not great from above. You could hear running and other sounds pretty loudly. The bathroom was large but with an accessible shower. I didn’t wander around the lobby so not sure if they have a restaurant. I walked about 5 minutes away to a local eatery and then Starbucks.
Overall, it was a nice place to stay to catch an early flight. I was satisfied with my experience but surprised that I did not get the type or location of room that I selected on Hotels.com. I had requested a 1 king bed room, non accessible, with a view of the pool. Not sure if this is a hotel or hotels.com issue.
- Marla (10/5): - We stayed At Element and Tario worked at the front desk.
He had the best personality and a smile on his face. He was. So helpful. We will stay at the hotel again. What we
Liked best is they have 24 hour service to Dallas love field.
- Deborah (10/5): - Beautiful room and the location was perfect
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danny (1/5): NEVER AGAIN TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL !!!! WASTE OF MONEY!!!! - DID NOT LIKE CRAP !!! FREE PARKING, MORE PARKING SPACE , PLACEMENT OF LAUNDRY , ICE MACHINE ( ON THE 8TH FLOOR). GUESTS UP THERE WERE PARTYING. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WALKING IN THE HALLWAY BECAUSE OF PEOPLE WERE PARTYING.
- Ned (4/5): - Got charged for parking and no spaces available. Plenty of apologies but no help.
- Alan (4/5): - Liked proximity to airport.
$16/night self park is too expensive. Luggage carts too small and too few. Breakfast was poor. Room had damaged window coverings and there was no cookware to use on induction cooktop.
- Gerald (8/5): - Nice property big rooms and bathrooms
- Walter (6/5): Good hotel, not good schuttle service! - Good hotel, near Dallas Love field airport, but not trust on schuttle bus servive.
- Tracy (4/5): Disappointed - Very clean Hardest bed ever
- ANMnDEN (2/5): Terrible hotel operations - I stay at this hotel every other week unless they are sold out. I love the breakfast, the shuttle drivers are friendly, and Sasha at the front desk is a rock star.
I’m not impressed with the operations of this hotel. About a month or two ago, I left my room at 6 am to get breakfast. I returned to my room and was locked out. It wasn’t just my key that wasn’t working, but the entire battery to the door died. I told the front desk what happened, and they told me I would have to wait until 9 am until the managers got there to get me back into my room. The assistant general manager showed up before then and helped me get back in to my room a little after 9:30 am. The Assistant General Manager was friendly and professional and apologized profusely, saying it was “unacceptable and everyone working there should know how to get my back in my room.” Since this was a huge inconvenience and I missed half the meeting I flew in for; I expected the hotel to make this right (even more so that I’m from their top account). I did not get a follow-up email from anyone, nor did they comp the night or provide me with Marriott Rewards points. Now, this is unacceptable.
Today, I arrived at the Hotel at 7:15 pm, and they walked me because they were oversold. Why in the world isn’t the front desk manager pre-walking people if they knew they would be sold out of rooms at 7:15 pm? They easily could have called or emailed me so I could make other arrangements. They drove me to a Hilton Garden Inn that was filthy and agreed to pay for my room. This doesn’t do anything for the inconvenience I’ve experienced as my company was paying for my room anyway.
I planned on staying at this hotel every other week for the rest of the year, but if this is how I’m treated, I will find a new hotel.
- Jonathan (10/5): I would definitely stay there again - Very clean Like everything
- Javier (8/5): - Place needs a deep clean before it’s gets worse. Detail cleaning is it needs. Am surprised management hasn’t seen it.
- Mark (8/5): Dallas Love Field Element - Overall my stay at Element was nice, though having to pay for parking in a wide open self-parking lot is not customer friendly. The room was nice and large (suite) with a full kitchen. It is nice to have the bar and restaurant on site and the food I ate was pretty tasty. They should add Chardonnay to their wine offerings!
- Eric (10/5): - One of the best breakfasts I've been offered, very good and fresh!
Front desk staff are friendly and helpful.
Top-notch all around!
- Amber (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deepak (6/5): - The hotel is well maintained and the staff, with the exception of a very rude young man, were very helpful.
I would recommend this hotel to those flying out of Dallas Love Field - the shuttle was great.
- CATHERINE (10/5): - we were very happy with our stay.
- John (8/5): Very good -
- bowens616 (2/5): Worst experience - Warning! Never trust this hotel. Check the bill carefully before leaving. If necessary, apply for a replacement card after stay to prevent fraud. I booked a reservation and canceled it next day. Based on cancellation policy, I should get full refund. However, it took me 3 months to contact this hotel and Marriott. That's extremely painful and worthless. I have to explain again and again but no one would like to process my request. I contacted Marriott but they also got stuck and ask me to contact hotel directly. Finally my case is not resolved and I have to submit dispute with my credit card company. I must point out a fact the hotel charge me 2nd and 3rd times even after my cancellation instead of issuing refund. I never expect that. That's a really messy billing system. Be careful!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Breakfast was great, staff very friendly.
- Mohammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mora (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (6/5): It was overall a good experience. - Convenient transportation to the airport. When we first checked in, the key didn’t work to the room. Then, I went back to get it resolved and then the room we were given a key to was occupied so we had to go back down again to get it resolved. Once resolved, everything was great.
- Jann (9/5): Superb -
- James (1/5): Bad -
- Crystal (10/5): - Always an amazing stay!!
- R (4/5): - I have spent thousands of dollars at Element and I'm so disappointed. I broke out in hives after my second night only to find the right comforter was brown in the sunlight. I reported it to the manager who promised to get back to me and never did. I booked through Expedia and they attempted to get partial or full refund and were denied.
- serenadK4272ZE (4/5): Hugh disappointment - I stayed here over this past weekend, 6/9-6/11/2023 for the FanExpo. I had my daughter and her boyfriend. I booked a two queen bed studio. It was a five hour drive to get to Dallas from where we live. We were to leave on Friday before 5:00.
However, due to a family emergency I didn't leave town until after 8:00 that night. Putting me at the hotel after 1:00 AM. I contacted them to let them know of my late arrival and was assured it was no problem because they ran their systems at 3:00 AM. Make it to the hotel at 1:30 AM.
Get checked in and to my room and I was put in a king studio with a sofa bed. I booked two beds. I go back down and show her my reservation is for two queen beds. While on the phone she plays around on the computer to tell me sorry, all those rooms are dirty and she can't fix anything.
How in the world would housekeeping leave rooms dirty that are to be reserved for check in that day is mind boggling. I am so unhappy immediately. Sleeper sofas are the worst. I paid for two beds for comfort. When booking I saw the king room with a sleeper sofa, which was cheaper but paid more money for two beds for a reason! On top of that, no bedding for the sleeper sofa in the room. Had to request that, waited 45 more minutes for that. Called over and over at the front desk with no answer to find out what was taking so long. Out of frustration, went to go to the front desk in person only to find the bedding laying on the dirty floor outside our door. However, there was no blanket, just sheets. No telling how long we were waiting for nothing.
Went downstairs again to ask for a blanket and she was nowhere to be found. A man wearing a uniform with a drivers name tag offered to help as he said he hasn't been able to find the front desk worker and that he would personally bring the blanket to the room, and he did.
At this point it is now 3:30 AM and we have to be awake by 7:00 AM to attend the FanExpo. My daughters boyfriend insisted on taking the couch. Resulting in him tossing a turning for hours in pain, getting no sleep. At one point he just got up and put the bed away and accepted he was not getting any sleep. The next morning I spoke with the manager on duty and she told me rooms had been extended and that's why there was no room available. But that she could hold our stuff while we were out for the day to be moved into the correct room. This did happen. We were moved to the correct room Saturday night.
As a result of this experience, it ruined our day at the Expo. We were drained, sore and unable to fully enjoy our experience. At one point, we had to find a spot for the boyfriend to lay down at the Expo and try to take a nap because he felt ill. Resulting in us missing panels we were excited to see along with our photo ops we purchased. Instead of being able to walk around and look at the different shopping, we waited for our turn for photos, found somewhere to lay down and rest until the next photo. We had tickets for just Saturday, so we couldn't make up for any of it the next day. We were also planning on staying for the Hayden Christiansen panel from 7:30 to 9:30, but skipped it because none of us felt well.
There was nothing the hotel could do to make our experience right. I just accepted that my weekend getaway was ruined and arguing for a refund of any sorts doesn't fix any of that. But lesson learned. When attending in the coming years we will not stay at this location again.
Aside from that, breakfast was ok. Oatmeal and toppings are available along with eggs, pancakes and sausage. I can't speak for anything else about the hotel because we spent the whole day out Saturday and when coming back went straight to bed, leaving at 10:30 AM Sunday.
- Serena (4/5): Huge disappointment - I stayed here over this past weekend, 6/9-6/11/2023 for the FanExpo. I had my daughter and her boyfriend. I booked a two queen bed studio. Woke up early for our day which was ruined because of how tired we all were. Will not return.
- Leanne (6/5): - This location is close to the airport terminal which was convenient. However, I found my room to be very noisy. I could hear people running in the hallways and doors slamming closed. I also didn't find the staff particularly friendly. The one person who was very nice, (and seemed to really like his job) was the bartender/server at the Aloft bar. He was professional and had a great attitude. I loved the tacos I ordered as well.
- Tyree (6/5): Pleasant -
- Eric (10/5): - Close to the airport and to a decent meal!
- Tariq (10/5): Amazing staff and great hotel - The staff at the Element was amazing! Bree got me into a hotel when there were no reservations available the early morning of Friday, May 19th during her overnight shift. The crew of Tariq (also my namesake), Tabby, and Samuel were amazing in the daytime shifts at the front desk. They made sure that my stay was amazing. I had a wonderful time. My stay was so great that I ended up re-arranging my flight to leave a day later and stayed in the hotel an extra night from checking out the morning of Sunday, May 22nd to leaving on Monday, May 24th.
- David (10/5): - This is what every hotel experience should be like!!! A nice hotel, reasonably priced with accommodating and friendly staff. Plus the beds were super comfy. My daughter said she’d live there if she could.
- Kenneth (10/5): - The room and hotel are nice. However, we waited 50 mins for the airport shuttle. We were told it would take 10-15 mins. I actually called 4 times! Then they told me it had been by the airport twice and they absolutely had not been by. Just get an Uber and ditch the shuttle.
- Diane (8/5): - It wasn't bad.
- William (6/5): Nice place - It is a clean place but house keeping shows up every other day. They should pay more attention to places that patrons may leave trash that could be unnoticeable.
- Eddie (8/5): - Great location., staff was friendly and helpful
- Marcos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juan (2/5): - My reservation was not book.
When i arrived to the hotel was ful[ . I made a change of hotel
- Curtis (10/5): - It was a new ce place to stay.
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patricia (7/5): Good -
- Pimpollo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siobhan (8/5): - Liked the room had a small kitchen
- Stuart (8/5): Very good -
