The braai area was very clean and handy with all the braai tools to use and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend. The absence of umbrellas at the tables in the courtyard.

They did the washing of our laundry for a very good price. The beds are a bit to hard for our liking. The kitchen needs replacement of a few cutlery & crockery, especially steak knives.

Bowles (8/5): Value for money. - We did not have breakfast, the place is nice and clean, off street parking was good. No bedside floor mats as the floor tiles are very cold especially if you forgot your slippers at home. Bath towels are not good quality or rather tiered, very thin. It would be nice to have a fresh smell from the linen. Overall a nice place to stay with a well equipped kitchen for the self cater traveler.

Amanda (6/5): Nice and clean place to stay. - The place was very neat, safe and clean. It was a very cold nigh but luckily we had our own warm water bottles. It helped. I was traveling with my elderly parents, and it wat a bit more suited for a "backpacker" experience. BUT MOM AND DAD DIDNT COMPLAIN AND WE HAD A GOOD STAY.

Jennifer (8/5): Peaceful & Clean - Great, quiet location, yet close enough to everything. The showerhead needs some attention & the waterpressure is quite low at times making taking a shower rather frustrating.
Van (5/5): Not one which I would recommend for friends. - The location was good with regards to our reason for visiting Stilbaai There was no running water. We were not able to have a good shower after a long day on the road. This could be communicated to the public in advance in order to have a choice to stay there or not.

Fourie (5/5): We appreciate the staff and cleanliness but slept badly and the smoking area was a deal breaker. - The staff were lovely and the kitchen was very well stocked The smoking area is right outside the rooms and kitchen so they smelled of smoke and the mattresses and pillows were very uncomfortable. When we tried to use a spare mattress we found broken glass under the bed.

Rooms are not soundproof, no hot water & I'm afraid there was no way that I was going to use the communal kitchen. Also, it was not near the beach as advertised!! I found the notices on all the walls everywhere very patronizing & not very welcoming! My first thought was: what kind of guests stay here?I was met with aggression & threatened with layers & police when I complained.

I felt sorry for the lady who served us, it was such a soulless place. Forbidding notices everywhere. everything could have been been better. No view, cold floors, inhospitable room, old towels but the double bed mattress was decent. The worst things were these ugly notices, at least three in each room, don't do this, don't do that, it was like a reformatory
