We booked a room with an airport pickup included along with 2 x 60 min massages a day. From the moment we were greeted at the airport we were treated like royalty, the transfer was smooth and we were immediately provided with a cold flannel and fresh ice cold coconut. Our room was brilliant and comes with a mini fridge with complementary water and soft drinks. The food in the hotel is really, really good. Our first night we ate at the hotel and we were not disappointed one bit and it was very well priced. We took advantage of a guided Ankor Wat Sunrise tour which is a must do which the hotel organised for us. Throughout the day we were given ice cold flannels and bottled water. The hotel offers a free one way Tuktuk ride into town which only takes about 10 mins. When we were ready to come back we simply WhatsApp’d the driver to collect us for $3 (US), which could be added to your room bill if you didn’t have cash. On leaving the hotel pretty much all staff on site came to wave us goodbye including the chef’s who we’d not seen. That level of detail sums up the hotel and the great leadership it has from Sy. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough, it’s a quality place but it’s the staff and its people that make this a place I will never ever forget and hope to return to sometime in the future. Great little restaurant with a good choice of breakfast. Staff were so friendly! Free Tuk Tuk in to town about 10 minutes away.

All guys were so welcoming, attentive and caring.Everyday we received "welcome back" drinks, snacks and fruits in the room. Room was serviced twice a day! Design and decoration of the room was beautiful. Wi-Fi connection was strong. Location of the hotel was 10 min tuk tuk ride from the city center ( hotel provide free tuk tuk rides to the city). It was nice to come back to the peaceful area after the pub street noise. Swimming pool was clean,water was pleasantly cool. There were only 9 rooms in this boutique hotel, so each guest receives max attention.Highly reccommended !!!

- Ravi (10/5): - Many apologies for this late submission. My sister, her friend (the two of them shared a room) and I booked two rooms in January 3025. Very simply, we were treated like royalty; the service was faultless, the spacious rooms were impeccable, and every one was most helpful. The dining area, while small, served fresh juices and coconut water for the asking and the chef was eager to customise the breakfast offering, which was sumptuous. Also, the hotel arranged all local transport which could go on the bill. Although the location may appear to be a bit far from the hourly-burly of the town Center, it’s only 10 minutes away from an auto-rickshaw ride. Would stay at this lovely oasis anytime.

A spotless, super-comfy car picked us up, complete with ice-cold water and chilled flannels—just what you need after a long journey. 🤝 Warm Welcome – When we arrived, we were greeted by the entire team with genuine warmth. The staff weren’t just polite; they were genuinely kind and helpful, making us feel like VIPs from the start. 🎪 Effortless Trip Planning – With only two nights in Siem Reap, we wanted to make the most of it. The hotel organised everything—tickets to the Phare Circus (a must-see!), a fascinating visit to the rat-led landmine detection project (sounds unusual, but trust me, it’s worth it), and, of course, a smooth, stress-free trip to Angkor Wat. The food and bar were also wonderful. But beyond all of this, the team members working at this hotel are easily the best group we have ever seen. We were greeted at the airport and treated to cold coconuts and cold cloths. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were met with cool drinks, fruit, and a full explanation of the hotel and possibility for tours to the temples. Breakfast and massages included daily as well as transport into town as needed. Every time we returned for the night there was another cool drink and fruit, and turndown service with a snack in our room. All of this and you kind of overlook the great pool and in room mini fridge. We are so glad we chose this hotel and hope to return.

The hotel price was attractive but only got better with their complimentary transport from the airport, free daily massages, free breakfasts off of a great menu, free tuk tuk transports to downtown, and free cordials upon every return to the residences. The manager provided valuable assistance in tour and restaurant selections and the entire staff couldn't have been more friendly. We were quite surprised when the entire staff gave us a very warm goodbye and requested that the attached photo be taken of the four of us with them.

We were greeted by 8 staff members at the entrance with cool, scented clothes, cold coconuts and fresh fruit. This happened many times during our 3 day stay. The staff is extremely friendly, courteous and helpful, meeting our every needs. 9 rooms, each beautifully appointed and very spacious. My friend and I shared a double room that had 2 king beds. Complimentary wine, cheese, nuts, awaited us in our room. As well as robes. Turn down service in the evening, included restocking the contents of the complimentary water and pop in the fridge. I also received a hour massage on premises - complimentary! The staff arranged guides and transportation. I highly recommend Shintana Saya Residence.

The room was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The location is conveniently close to the city center, just a short Tuk Tuk ride away, making it easy to explore. - jillL116 (10/5): Wonderful stay in december for 6 nights, absolutely fabulous hotel - I have stayed all over the world for business and holidays and i can honestly say that this is one of the best experiences of my life. The staff were absolutely amazing, every one of them did everything that they could to make our stay perfect, and it was ! I have never experienced such fantastic customer service and struggle to find the words to say how wonderful the staff made our stay. The hotel is in a local area but this wasn't a problem as the hotel provided free tuktuk rides into town when we wanted to go and the driver picked us up when we had finished and brought us back to the hotel. The pool area is beautiful and the staff brought us complimentary drinks and snacks which were much appreciated. Breakfast was a real feast such an amazing selection of food and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the hotel at lunchtime and one evening and the food was excellent. Before we travelled I emailed the hotel with an itinery and asked them to arrange a car and driver for our 6 days stay, they did this and our drive was superb, a very safe driver and a nice guy. We had a room with free laundry and this was a great choice as it was very hot and humid so we were able to get our clothes washed and they always came back the same day. An unforgettable, wonderful stay - just book it you won't be disappointed.
- Polly (10/5): - The driver greeted us at the airport upon arrival. On the one-hour ride to the hotel, he provided a cold towel for us to freshen up and fresh coconut juice to enjoy. We felt very welcoming. We had connecting rooms for our group of five. The rooms are very spacious. There are couches and chairs for everyone to sit to enjoy their ME time. The only place that showed signs of aging was the bathroom shower. There was rust and water stains. In addition, we would prefer a hand-held shower instead of one hanging high from the ceiling. The staff members were polite, attentive, and extremely helpful. Our flight left late in the afternoon, and we were allowed to check out at 3:30 (instead of noon) without additional cost. We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel, and we plan to stay there again on our next trip to Siem Reap.

The owner met us and ensured we had a great stay, with only 9 rooms it is very safe and they know your name from the beginning of your stay till the end! The food and drinks were top notch at the bar and the pool area was very serene and relaxing! The free airport pick-up with a cracked coconut water ready and chilled and free Tuk Tuks into the city center were also a very nice perk. We only stayed for 3 days but could have absolutely made it longer because of this AMAZING hotel experience. Thank you!!

The staff are incredible, particularly Sy, and they arranged everything that we needed. They hotel has their own cars and tuk tuk drivers so you have dependable transportation. The hotel is on a quiet street away from the noisy part of the city and closer to the temple sites. It is very quiet compared to hotels in the city. The rooms and grounds are beautiful.

All the staff was very welcoming and always greeted us with treats whenever we returned from our temple visits. Breakfast was delicious and the waitress at breakfast was sweet and kind. They remembered our food allergies and preferences which is much appreciated. We booked our tuk tuk rides to the temples through the hotel. Although a bit pricier than arranging it ourselves, it was well worth the money. They provided cold water and cold towels every time we returned to our tuk tuk and the driver was great. Not too much around the hotel but the hotel provides free rides to the town center. AC worked well and laundry service was useful due to the heat and humidity. Highly recommend this boutique hotel if you want something quiet and personalized just like a 5 star hotel.

The staff went out of their way to help us have the most enjoyable time, including airport transfer, snacks, housekeeping, taking us for a tuk tuk at sunrise when we insisted we try even when they knew it was too cloudy(!)! and looking after our two young daughters when they were all templed out! Stay here whenever in Siem Reap, for an incredible stay.

I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed having delicious food and service ( 2 breakfasts and 1 lunch). I also got some rest at the pool early afternoon during the hear of the day between 2 temple visits.

We met the manager David who was very friendly and even gave us a free cocktail so we could enjoy our stay! Only 9 rooms at this hotel means you feel like you’re recieving a bespoke service. A few tips: There’s so much complimentary stuff! AirPort pick up, tuktuks to the city centre, daily 1hr massage etc. make sure you check all this as we missed one or two of them. Go through the hotel for the temples tour! Costs $25 rather than 20 but we recieved unlimited water bottles and a frozen menthol hand towel after every temple. Trust me, this was a lifesaver in the insane heat. A few reasons this was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in: Location- perfect, 10 minutes from Angkor watt and Siem reap centre Food- excellent Hotel is very new and clean Stay are so friendly (also English is pretty limited in Cambodia, but everyone in the hotel spoke very good English. Necessary when asking for recommendations) The rooms are incredible We kept receiving free treats with drinks and snacks They sure know how to make a cocktail! The massages are absolutely amazing! And free! Tip them tho Our driver is hotel staff for the temples so you’re in safe hands Welcome coconut to drink when you arrive and one of those heavenly menthol towels. They put a couple of free beers, bottle of red and coke cans in your room, topping up the beer and cokes Biggest bed ever Really couple rate this place higher

It is not in a walkable part of the city with shops & restaurants nearby. We were there to visit Angkor Wat and only visited the city for dinner. The hotel has everything you need: start with a living room and separate bedroom. The breakfast is great--outdoors by the pool. Its a short taxi ride to the city for dinner--great choices. And the hotel arranged a taxi and guide for two days at Angkor Wat & the other temples. Cost: USD 190 absolutely excellent service and expertise. Easy to recommend--Excellent. hotel.

Grounds were pretty, good was great and the pool after a day in Ankor was not to be beat. It's a little outside of the main tourist area in Siem Reap but it was very easy to get to pub street and the night markets. I booked this place based upon their reviews. You should too!
