- Steven (7/5): If you're more interested in price than fancy accomodations, this is the place for you. - There was no breakfast, but it was reasonably quiet for being on the highway. The cost was very reasonable. It wasn't very clean and the bathroom ceiling above the shower was peeling away.

- Keri (4/5): Play this place needs to be a weekly stay and not on the booking app - It was convenient to stores near by When I first arrived at the hotel, there was a sign on the door stating to call a certain number to be checked in. I called the number four times with no answered. When I was finally able to get checked in, I got my room and went up there to lock the door and it wouldn’t lock. Let the lady at the front desk know and she walked up there and says oh the door is not lining up, but once the door is shut, no one can get in so don’t worry about it

- Chris (2/5): I did not stay there at all for the above stated reasons, I ended up driving 20 miles back to Ocala - It was 98 degrees outside and the room was 88 degrees, tried two rooms and the (window units) didn't blow cold air. The motel is in a not so nice area and didn't really feel safe.

Weed smoking in lot. Police where called due to fighting. More of a place for locals to live full time.

- Angelina (2/5): Was going to stay one night, regardless of the reviews. But COULDNT. Don’t do it. Unclean bed, sheets reused, tvs are te - The staff was nice. That is it. They did not clean any of the rooms available. They sheets had pubic hair in it and pieces of ripped cardboard (trash). They obviously didn’t change the bed sheets because they were wrinkled too as if someone had slept on them. The bed cover had white crust on it too (also unchanged and dirty). The mattress protector was literal plastic so the bed — just by touching it —was uncomfortable and noisy. The bathtub has someone else’s hair on the floor (they didn’t clean it). There was literal dead bugs and dirt all over the floor showing they didn’t sweep it. If it couldn’t get any worse, the TV remote didn’t work, and after getting my hands dusty trying to turn it on, the Samsung TVs were terrible because of how low quality and pixelated it was… I couldn’t even see the face of the people on the TV because the resolution was that bad. It also wasn’t a smart TV and didn’t have a good variety of channels. On top of that there were some sketchy people standing neg around outside. Needless to say I did not feel comfortable staying there. Upon the lady at the front desk seeing the unclean room , she said she would clean it if we left for thirty minutes to an hour … mind you we arrived at 8:30pm. We asked her if we could just go to the upstairs room that she said was also available and she insisted she would clean it fast… which makes me assume she knew that one was unclean too… hm must happen often (especially seeing the reviews). We left and went to The Gator Den motel—less than a minute away drive and MUCH cleaner with an amazing big smart TV. When I requested a full refund through booking.com and shared with them what I experienced … they didn’t apologize. They didn’t take accountability. It’s as if they’re not surprised at all and they just told me they approved it. That should tell you enough…

- Shelane (4/5): - The only positive thing I could say was the manager was kind and friendly. The room was the worst room I ever stood in my entire life. Stains on the bed sheets, a dead roach on the floor. Stains and dirt by the seating area. also, it was raining inside the room. Meaning the AC unit from the room above was leaking into my room. So there was a puddle of water about 8 feet in my room. The best thing I could do was put towels and a sheet on the floor to soak up the water. I guess you get what you pay for. The room was extremely cheap. The next time I’m in that area, I will look for other accommodations.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Had to call to get keys. Got no receipt. Greeting was fine. As soon as I walked in the bathroom, the toilet was used and a cigarette in it. Very uncooth. The floor seemed like it wasn't swept from the previous stay. There was dog/cat hair all over the sheets. Thank God my stay was just for one night. At least it beats the roaches from my previous stay at a Days Inn.

There was dust covering the furniture, the "chair" was stained with Lord knows what, the mirror looked like they spit on it and wiped it with a dirty rag. and I really doubt the linens had been changed. I understand it is an old motel, but there's no excuse for it being that gross. The cable did not work during the stay, and the smoke detector was ripped off the wall. To have charged almost $100 was criminal. If we had another option there is no way we would have stayed!!

It's the location that made it ok Drains dirty floors.

- Todd (3/5): Poor - Convenient location to where we were visiting. Other reviews mentioned no wash rags or face towels, but there were plenty in our room. Lack of basic maintenance. Shower ceiling was peeling and falling. Light bulb out in the vanity light fixture. Holes in the wall above the toilet where a shelf must have been. A couple minutes with some spackle and a putty knife would solve that. Nightstand light was rusted and has a damaged light shade.

Fixtures don't work properly, bed linens are stained, bath tubs have cigarette burn marks. AC is in the wall up so high you need a chair to fine tune the temperature. Sinks and tub do not drain well. Parking is easy and the staff is very likeable and quick to get whatever you need or try to help.

- Doug (8/5): Great service, just an ok room. - We stayed overnight after my son was getting scuba certified in Rainbow River. The room was just ok. Was a bug in the sink, an old Sprite bottle under my bed and the shower arm in the shower is at around 4’9”. We felt like “Elf” taking a shower. The clerk did let us in the room early. She was super nice and gave us both a free bottle of water.

- Patty (1/5): I will not stay here again. - The location was good for the purpose of this trip. It is in the downtown area and directly on the main highway. But if you want quiet with no traffic noise then this motel is not for you. The room was filthy and falling apart . It had obviously not been cleaned before we arrived. Dirt and trash was throughout on the floor. Toothpaste splatter was in the sink, on the faucets, and on the mirror. The cheap plastic baseboards were pealing away from the walls and laying on the floor. The bed frames were broken and pieces of brick supported the bed. The cleaning staff should be fired. This place is beyond repair. It should be demolished and rebuilt. Amazingly though, the sheets appeared clean and the bed was comfortable.
