• Laura (5/5): - Location of caravan park on the beach was lovely. Was close to main street and jetty. Good communication with owners, particularly regarding late arrival. Cabin was older and smallish, would probably stay in deluxe cabin on beachfront if returning.

Really clean and well set out park. Just a couple of minor niggles the scent of the cleaning products was a little overpowering for the first day and we had to wait for our room to be finished cleaning after the check in time.

• Keith (8/5): Comfortable cabin right on the water, fabulous location. Very relaxing and peaceful. - Fabulous location right at the water. Nicely modernised furniture, blinds, cupboards etc.. Generous parking space out front, clothesline beside us. Comfy bed and good shower. Loved watching the patient pelicans at the fish cleaning station nearby. Step up into the bathroom tripped us up a couple of times. A few locks a bit dodgy and bathroom door stuck sometimes but I’m sure they’ll get to those in due course.

The batteries were flat in the remote controls for the TV. Couldn’t switch it around, except for pressing the buttons on the actual tv box

• Luke (2/5): A very unenjoyable weekend stay. - Location was the only half decent thing. Room was filthy, not even close to a standard we would expect, and far from ideal when travelling with a toddler, it was like the room hadn't even been cleaned. Had to throw our toddler's white socks away, that's how dirty the floor was! The room was cleaner when we left. Facilities were very old. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Shower pressure was terrible and the shower temperature fluctuated regularly making having a shower most unenjoyable. Price was also ridiculously priced for a 2 night stay in such old, basic and filthy accommodation.

• Siggy (8/5): Most enjoyable, would have appreciated looking over the water, but a quick walk down to the foreshore enabled us to do t - Close to the beach & a good walk to the town centre. Cabins were very clean with good space, a large fridge & good cooking facilities. Beds comfortable. The takeaway shop onsite served very tasty fish & chips! We were quite disappointed to be in the back row when there were beach front cabins of the same size not being used. Outdoor furniture & windows were very dusty due to windy conditions. Sealed roads throughout the park would help with this.

Weather was awful, big storm blew in over the ocean, torrential rain, thunder, lightning, cabin was shaking, we thought the cabin was going to lift off and topple over.

• chris (6/5): Happy-go-lucky - We had a fabulous stay the staff went out of their way to accommodate us we had booked in for 4 nights and need an extra night as our tent got a rip in it and we had to bin it, the girls on the front desk went out of there way to help us. The extra nights accommodation was amazing on the beach clean and modern $217.00 the night with our small dog, then we had to move to our original unit, $234.00 per night dog friendly. It was old, the staff went out of there way to move us with a 2 hour delay. The air-conditioning smelt, the rooms had seen better days it was very worn. The toilet smelt, we did not complain as the staff where under the pump been Christmas week. I am not sure if these are kept for people with dogs, my house is kept in A1 condition and I have a dog, I would of expected all your units to be the same. It's a shame the units don't match the standards of the staff, all that work to be let down by my comments. All the answers in first comment

The accommodation was beautiful and the location was great The bbq took ages to heat up and kept timing out and in the cabin the cooktop was horrible. It took an hour to make burgers in the pan. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t really strong enough to removed the sand from our bodies either

Super friendly staff with local knowledge so we didn't miss out on oysters as arrived on Sunday afternoon. Welcome note and pot of honey appreciated. Loved our stay on beach and husband happy watching sport on TV.

• Liz (10/5): Clean, quiet snd comfortable - The property was clean and tidy. Communication was good and made checking easy. Our shower head failed and it was fixed very quickly. The local hotel had a courtesy bus pick up which meant we could enjoy a drink with our meal. Laundry facilities were of a good standard and there were good playgrounds for the kids.

Had amazing seafood from the kiosk. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Nothing to not like.

• Lani (8/5): We made it work, and ended up having a lovely stay. The good outweighed the bad - Comfy bed. Uninterrupted water views, great foreshore walking/bike-riding trail. Good facilities in the town. Room was very old and tired. Smelled like an old hotel (not a good smell). Spare blanket was dirty and stained. For the price, $243 a night, it was not good value and we expected better.
