• Caterina (10/5): - Bellissima casa isolata e in mezzo alla natura, cortile ampio con piccolo torrente, c’è inoltre una piccola piscinetta con qualche sdraio perfetta per rilassarsi. Casa comoda e accogliente, ben fornita. Simone è stato gentilissimo e premuroso, attento a ogni nostra necessità. Abbiamo trascorso giorni molto sereni e piacevoli.
• Robbert (10/5): Voortreffelijk! - tafel met grandioos berguitzicht om lekker aan te eten, borrelen, lezen of ontspannen. Buitenkeuken heerlijk. Koele kamer binnen. Toen wij er waren (juni/juli) vuurvliegjes in de avond/nacht. Het is een eigen terrein, dus geen direct langsrijdend verkeer. Op het terrein een (verborgen) waterval, heel leuk. Zeer gastvrije host. Wifi is goed! Het is iedere keer als je op pad gaat (voor supermarkt of iets te gaan doen) twintig minuten slingeren naar eerste echte dorp/grote weg. Dat is de conditie van de plek en ook de charme van de plek.

• Marc (10/5): one hundred percent awesome! - We spent two weeks as guests in the wonderful home of Simone, our host. What a fantastic vacation it has been! An old but wonderfully cool and comfortable house, simply furnished, but cozy and more than complete. We were allowed to use a newly opened part of the house, which gave us oceans of space for our whole family (2 adults and 3 (small) children). Simone is always present in the background, without intruding, but always available for any question. The view is more than beautiful. The waterfalls in the area were the ultimate place to relax for us and the kids. Simone gives good tips for small outings in the area and knows the good restaurants. In short: a dream vacation. For the first time we say: this is a place we will definitely go back to. If you want a place where you can really unwind, Mimmo's Holiday House is a hidden gem. Thanks Simone! Trips with drivingtime: Doccione Waterfall: 15 min (beautiful!) Florence (by train): 1 hr + 20 min. to the station. Lago di Ridracoli: 1hr. (beautiful!) Pisa: 2 hrs San Marino: 2 hrs. super tip for eating out: https://www.facebook.com/labottega.dicastagneto (10 min. drive) The place in the mountains is a dream for motorcyclists, who especially enjoy taking the winding roads on weekends. You can hear that at the house. But really disturbing it is certainly not. Another point is the road to the house: it is a half paved and steep path of a few hundred meters long. Driving slowly is the motto, but if you take your time, no problem. (And time is exactly what you have plenty of on vacation :) )

• Henk (10/5): The house was above expectation. Good location to explore the Tuscany - Beautifull remote location, wonderfull views on the hills, the house is nice to stay. As i am almost 2 meters tall, the house and beds suit very well. Good communication in English with the owner.
• Rogier (9/5): Great stay in the nature of Tuscany - Stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the major tourist attractions from Tuscany, but still close by enough to reach within 1-2 hours. Super host, very friendly and helpful and gives you your privacy. Pet friendly and a fenced garden. We had some bad weather and since you are in the mountains, the rain stays hanging longer. This is no fault of the property of course. Due to the low temperatures the house was a bit cold. The host helped out by switching on the heating for a small extra fee.
