Guest Reviews
- Matthew (8/5): -
- Jack (8/5): Great place - Everything Nothing
- Cam Hadlow (4/5): room just very small - good location room and bathroom very small
- Rochelle (8/5): - Beautiful new decor and super clean. Amazing location. Large and spacious No reception but staff were very prompt at responding via messages. No lift so hard getting bags up two flights of stairs
- Andrea (9/5): So happy with our choice. Clean, fresh, contemporary, comfortable - Exactly what we needed for a one night stay. Being on Hastings street is great. Very clean, very helpful staff, comfy bed. The one bed is small, so I would want to go a larger room for a stay longer than a couple of days.
- S (8/5): -
- Ranjit (8/5): -
- Jacob (10/5): It was one of the best and most memorable stays I have had, would recommend this stay to anyone. - The staff were very accomodating and treated us with respect and kindness. We had a team of people look after our stay and our room making our engagement weekend very memorable. Even setting us up with a parking bay in a good spot also.
- Grace (10/5): -
- Mille (9/5): - Location was perfect! Right next to the beach Bathroom was TINY. Needed to open the shower door to sit on the toilet and the sink was too small to use to wash your face etc.
- Lauryn (10/5): -
- Sue (9/5): -
- Molly (10/5): -
- stone (10/5): Really glad I chose hastings house! I will be recommending to people. - As a female solo traveller, this was absolutely perfect. It was so clean and so lovely, bed was super comfy and just felt like a treat.
The host was so lovely and able to help whenever. - nothing!
- Jodie (7/5): Some teething problems for our stay in this beautiful part of the world. - The location was fantastic, with easy access to the beach as well as the shops and restaurants along Hastings Street.
Service from Gemma was outstanding—she was incredibly helpful and made every effort to assist in all situations.
Communication in the lead-up to our stay was excellent, making the overall experience smooth and well-organised. The room was extremely small, with no cupboards or storage space, meaning all clothing had to remain in bags. There was only a minimal hanging area available.
The bathroom was also very cramped, with almost no space between the toilet and shower, and only a tiny hand basin.
Parking is required to be allocated and paid for in advance; however, there is no system in place to indicate that a space is reserved. When we returned from an outing, another guest had taken our allocated spot, which was particularly frustrating given the already limited parking available.
The internet connection was very poor, and we were unable to get the TV channels working during our stay.
- Lynn (2/5): As above - Location was good Room was very, very small. No seating except for the bed which had a platform around it, making it difficult for the person sleeping near the wall to get in. No bedside table for my CPAP machine. No balcony or furniture which advertising led us to believe would be available. Left a day early for better accommodation.
- Courtney (10/5): Clean, aesthetic and convenient accommodation for short stays! - The aesthetic made it a comfortable place to be in but the location for such a nice room just made everything so much more convenient! The lack of space to put your personal things eg a bench or cupboard to put your bag.
- Natalie (10/5): Fabulous home away from home stay! - A wonderful home away from home when visiting family in Brisbane. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting a quiet and peaceful stay with an excellent breakfast. Staff were absolutely delightful too! Nil
- Antony (10/5): I’d stay against without hesitation. - Wonderful accommodation. Nothing
- Carter (10/5): -
- Emma (10/5): -
- Corey (10/5): Beautiful Rooms. Excellent location! We will - New renovations were fantastic, rooms incredibly clean and the location was amazing. Gemma the manager was super helpful and easily contactable. She really went out of the way to make our stay as good as it could be Nothing, 5 stars all round
- Annie (7/5): Excellent location, fantastic communication from the hotel staff and easy access to room. Room is quite small and would - Great location, easy parking, nice decor Quite small room and bathroom but totally fine for shorter stays
- Janelle (10/5): Amazing accomodation perfect location and friendly staff - Cosy clean and quiet environment It was a bit small and no microwave or cutlery
- Sue (10/5): We booked the VERY spacious two bedroom which had so much space and storage I could live there permanently - Stunningly renovated, quality linen, the location was fabulous and of course the coffee in the restaurant was a godsend ! Not a single thing! There is no pool but you are directly opposite the beach!

- Tara (7/5): - Great location and the room was clean It was difficult to get in. I didn’t receive a text message with the info. It’s a lot of money for a small room, but I guess you’re paying for the location.
- Minchin (7/5): -
- Deborah (4/5): -
- Will (8/5): -
- Andrea (7/5): 10 Hastings - Newly renovated room, very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice decor.
Excellent location! Very small bathroom with shower door hitting the toilet.
Tradespeople starting work outside the room at 5.30am. Very noisy and disruptive.
- Samantha (8/5): -
- Peter (10/5): Nothing was a problem Gemma was very helpful -
- Sean (7/5): -
- Oliver (8/5): - Was a lovely room with a comfortable bed Parking was the only issue- hard to get in and out due to the trade workers
- Donna Marree (9/5): Beach getaway - park the car and walk everywhere - to the beach, great restaurants and nature. - Location on Hastings Street - close to beach and great restaurants and cafes. Not pretentious. Small, cozy and convenient. Nothing
- Andrew` (5/5): Location great, comfortable bed, toilet tiny, not VFM - Tiny and probably non compliant to building codes- the shower door cannot fully open as it impacts the toilet bowl. Blockout blinds,
- Elizabeth (6/5): Everything you need for an economical Noosa weekend. - Great location and less expensive than other accommodations in Hastings st Undergoing overdue renovations when we stayed. The room is very small and furnishings dated. Carpark only provided at considerable extra cost per night.
- Makayla (8/5): 10/10 for a short stay - Location, cleanliness, comfort & convenience all round. Very aesthetic and affordable “luxury” type of vibe. Bathroom was perfect, a bit small with no storage other than the shelf across the wall under the mirror. Fit most of what it needed to but if it was slightly bigger it would’ve been perfect.
- Georgina (9/5): -
- Giannoula (1/5): Absolutely appalling! - Nothing at all!!! URGE YOU NOT TO BOOK! AUnder renovation and awful place and terrible management. They were not transparent about the conditions at all and refused to refund! This facility was undergoing a renovation which was not disclosed at time of booking. It was absolutely awful. The managers did not take any accountability when we complained and refused to provide a refund. It should not have been open until the renovation was complete. Its a pokey place, can barely fit in the bathroom and was old and worn. No views and no further facilities like a pool. No access for people who struggle with stairs. Overall i would highly recommend you DO NOT book this place
- Stay225436 (4/5): Not the experience I expected - A little disappointed to say the least.. the room itself and the location was great. Comfortable bed, aircon etc. The TV is very out of date and needs to be upgraded to a smart tv. I was Lucky enough to have my laptop on me to keep me entertained.
Days leading up to my booking, my card was never charged for the accomodation and I had to chase that up myself because I didn’t want to lose my booking. My card was supposedly “expired” which in fact it wasn’t and had plenty of money on my card. I find that hard to believe. I checked the card details were correct on the booking and they were in fact correct. My boyfriend unfortunately couldn’t make the trip because of family issues and I didn’t want to stay here alone so I wasn’t allowed a refund let alone a credit for another trip. The bathroom flooded on my first night. I messaged the person who was in charge of my booking process and told her what happened and she said someone would be there the next day to check. No one turned up. I asked for a late checkout seeing no one bothered to check the leak and to be compensated, no that was too hard also.
I won’t be staying here again after how I have been treated by the staff.
- John (8/5): Fantastic - Best location and staff Small rooms but value for money
- Nick (10/5): - Bit of a hiccup with the booking but Gemma moved mountains to sort things out
Many thanks for making the stay a good one
- Kelly (10/5): Awesome location friendly staff - Awesome location
Love the friendly staff It’s about to be renovated so it was a little tired but that will change very soon
- Daria (9/5): Apart from parking it was perfect - Proximity to main attractions They increased parking fee and did not tell so gave me original fee. Also electricity went off via short circuit
- Joanne (8/5): Excellent Location - Location
- Natasha (9/5): -
- Tracy (9/5): Very Noosa - Location Single beds had no brakes so moved about. Narrow stairs for carrying luggage and tired in places.
- Biasin (8/5): Great location and extremely clean - It was on the main street of Noosa, so the location was excellent 👌 Very small compared to the photos online. I didn't realise the apartment was upstairs and there was no-one to help you put the suitcases upstairs and also no lift at all.
- ET (8/5): -
- Hammond (6/5): -
- Mark (10/5): nice and easy - all of this
nice by the trees
close to walking trails
big shower
- fabiop953 (6/5): - Il parcheggio all'interno Lo scarafaggio che è entrato da sotto la porta e il letto scomodissimo non ho chiuso occhio tutta notte. Sconsigliato. Rapporto Prezzo/qualità scadente.
- Gillian (8/5): - Location Bathroom very uncomfortable
Shower door not fitted properly.
Stained bed quilt
- Andrew (1/5): Worst hotel / motel experience I can recall. - Great location, friendly staff, room was clean. There was construction going on; a 6am wake up from the construction workers and their machinery was a very unpleasant way to start the day.
If we were warned about it; we would definitely not have chosen to stay here.
Could also use some curtains to fill the gaps in the blinds.
- Beverley (10/5): -
- Guest (9/5): Short stay and host was great and room was comfortable, thankyou! -
- Hosking (9/5): - Location & price
- Honoria (4/5): Great location, but for $1200 would’ve rather spent money elsewhere - The location was fantastic right on Hastings street and Luis the manager is brilliant one of the most helpful! The fridge was broken and didn’t work, there was a wasp nest on our balcony, the bed was awful, the cleaners never actually made the bed each day or vacuum the sand off the floor… the cups were dirty they also didn’t seal them until we had to leave a note and ask
- Graham (10/5): -
- KellieB88 (4/5): Barely adequate - Barely adequate. Over priced for the ‘back packer’ style accommodation. The room was very tired, sparse and basic with scuff marks over every wall. The bathroom was tiny and barely functional. A classic roadside motel really
- Catherine (7/5): -
- Douglas (8/5): -
- Lizzie (4/5): Stay for the location but don’t stay too long - The location is why you book here It was run down, not incredibly clean. Unfriendly staff
- David (10/5): Wish we could stay for a week. - Just so close to everything. I had so trouble with the door lock. Unlocking was a bit fiddly
- Kim (6/5): Good location for a few nights - Location So small, no where for bags and bathroom tiny, the door just made it past vanity
- Penny (3/5): Disappointed - The bed was comfortable The bathroom was very small and cramped. Marks on the wall.
- Maria (10/5): -
- Kim (4/5): The room was bearable for one night. - On Hastings Street A buzzing noise in the room every few minutes, dreadful pillows, tiny, tiny bathroom and scuffed, dirty walls.
- Lisa (7/5): Great location, adequate accommodations and nice to be able to walk around Hastings street. - Everything was fine in a good location. Unfortunately we were unable to get in to our booked parking spot as the driveway was blocked when we arrived. Had to find parking elsewhere in a very busy area a little frustrating. However it did clear latter in the day.
- Clint (2/5): -
- Mark (8/5): Good basic accommodation in an excellent location, value for the location, accept no staff on site but communication wit - Location Access to staff with communication
- Lindy (10/5): premium location at a reasonable price for short stays. - Luis was amazing. Flexible helpful and a real asset to the business. It was great that the restaurant attached had great food and could accommodate us. A little hiccup with parking but Luis sorted it out quickly and efficiently. BEST location. Thank you
- Guest (8/5): -
- Janelle (3/5): Filthy room - Not much Air con was very loud, fan was shaky, walls were filthy, looked like semen on the bed cover, couldn't open the shower door properly as it hit the toilet.
- Guest (6/5): It was pleasant apart from the check in - glad it wasn't late at night. - Great central location
Boutique size motel I had trouble getting access. No staff on site (I arrived at 3.30pm). Telephone numbers advertised to contact didnt work. Previous communication after booking was via email. I could not work out the code to unlock the box for my key. When a couple staying in the motel advised me the code was sent to them by text I was then able to gain access. May have been improved if the emails had explained a code would be sent by text if no-one was in reception.
- Ellie (1/5): Horrendous. Do not book. Location good but would have rather stayed further afield than stay here again - Location was good. Nothing about the property itself was up to standard
Email correspondence good but in person was terrible. Rude staff upon paying for parking (paid twice)
Wall paintwork scratched significantly
Mould in blinds
Blinds did not shut so light at 5am
Bathroom barely functioning, shower head broken
People banging on doors late at night
Walls paper thin
Made to pay for parking twice
- Ella (2/5): -
- Kate (7/5): I liked 10 Hastings street and would stay there again - Location was perfect. The room was clean and spacious. The shower door didn’t close so water went all over the bathroom floor. The shower head faced upwards and couldn’t be adjusted.
- Lorena (8/5): -
- Marianne (10/5): Lovely, convenient & accomodating - Great location, friendly staff & clean rooms. Beds are comfortable too. They even allowed me to checkout a few hours later in the day at no cost. Was able to store bag there until my flight left too. Lovely stay. N/a
- McCarthy (9/5): Most enjoyable - Great location A little noisy
- Guest (7/5): -
- Sandie (1/5): Dreadful - Location Room was tiny, decor was dirty and tired. Bathroom was so small you have to open the door to be able to use the sink. The aircon unit and the ceiling fan took in turns being the noisiest thing in the room with the aircon unit fan screeching all the time and the ceiling fan banging constantly because it is out of balance. The staff in the cafe attached were so rude and after being ignored for over half hour we left without our food order having even being taken! Hope the new owners improve things
- Sandie (1/5): Worse weekend away we have ever had - Location is great but that’s all that was great Room was tiny, decor was dirty and tired.
- Mark (9/5): -
- Francesca (6/5): Great location and clean, basic accomodation, noisy - Excellent location, clean, friendly staff It is so loud - the doors are really thin, people coming back late throughout the night woke us multiple times and staff at the cafe played really loud music before 7am on the weekend which also woke us. The bathroom was tiny and difficult to move around in.
- Graham (8/5): Good value for money in a first class location. - Check-in process went well.
The assistance from the very friendly staff made access and settling in enjoyable.
Location near beach and restaurants enhanced the dining experiences.
Though small the room was quite adequate for an overnight stay. Clearer overview of local parking options would assist planning.
There was limited space available for positioning any clothing, cups of coffee etc.
External noise could be intrusive at times.
- Guest (6/5): -
- lara (9/5): Great location, amazing position, super quiet - The location is amazing, the room is perfect for a couple. Some drawers for clothes would have been nice or a suitcase stand instead of having on the floor.
- Alex (8/5): Convenient and good location - Location/ veranda and open room
- Julien (6/5): Simple and suitable for an overnight - Location, simplicity No contact from the staff when messaging them on app and to their phone number.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Bed was very comfy and the room very clean The bathroom was a bit difficult to navigate as the toilet was in the way of the entry door and the shower door.
- Therese (10/5): All you need. - All you need in a perfect location. Leaving.
- Amanda (3/5): Disappointing - Unfortunately not much we did like The size and layout of the bathroom were terrible. The bed was old and very uncomfortable. Lots of marks and the walls. Overall the rooms are very tired.
Paid for car parking and had to go to the restaurant every time we needed to go out because a number of vehicles just parked behind us and blocked us in.
- Lee (6/5): Good location just sweep and mop floors daily! - Location No daily room clean and floors were dirty. Shower tiles needs a good bleach.
- Amanda (3/5): -
- Suzanne (7/5): Pleasant stay in a great location. Good value for money - Location fabulous. Not too noisy to sleep and a nice sanctuary. Staff very helpful and friendly .Easy and efficient check in process. . TV remote didn’t work properly although staff tried to help with it. General maintenance of property could be a bit better . (stairs pretty worn) Bathroom and room clean but floor could have been a bit cleaner .
