Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - have a nice experience staying here.
especially the private hot spring bath!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): -
- Donghoon (10/5): Awesome experience - Awesome experience. The host was so kind and he used translator to communicate. It had no problem with communication and he tried to help anything he could. The spa was charm and nice. I recommend here if you havent chosen where to stay yet.
- Soon Young (8/5): A traditional ryokan in the nostalgic village - Great services from the host. Had a grate time in this Ryokan. Our family enjoyed the two main baths and super breakfast and dinner, the food was nearly the national top level. However a few things were not met the standard level. There was no hot water supplied in the ensuite bath room. The ryokan stairs were too steep for children and old people. And one thing you must NOT to do is eating in the local village restraurant. We tried to book our dinner a day before we arrived but it was too late. The host could not serve the dinner for the first night. So we had to eat at the only local restaurant. Their food was not fresh and it was very expensive. That was provably the worst food we had in whole our Japan trips. So we suggest eat in Yufuin or bring the already made food if you haven't booked the dinner with the ryokan.
