• Tamika (7/5): Would definitely stay again. Was a lovely villa - Was very nice and clean, was about a 20 min walk to Legian. Staff were lovely. I thought it might have a bigger kitchen in case you didn’t want to eat out all the time. Fridge was tiny and no bowls or cups or anything which was a struggle.

The free shuttle service to nearby locations was amazing. The location was ok. In the hub and central to Seminyak and Legian, but not a tranquil area by any means and side streets a little iffy. However, the villa was perfect and quiet and free shuttle was very helpful. Easy to get taxis with GoGek as well.

• Ashlyn (5/5): My stay at S18 Bali Villas had potential with its spacious private villa and kind staff, but it was ultimately overshado - Why I Liked My Stay at S18 Bali Villas 1. Spacious Private Villa I really liked that it was a private villa — the layout offered privacy and a sense of relaxation. The rooms were also nicely sized, giving us plenty of space to move around and feel comfortable. 2. Friendly and Kind Staff The staff were consistently kind and welcoming throughout our stay. Their polite and helpful attitude definitely stood out and made parts of our experience more enjoyable. Unfortunately, my experience at S18 Bali Villas fell short of expectations, and I would not recommend it based on the following concerns: 1. Lack of Cleanliness Upon arrival, it was evident that the villa had not been thoroughly cleaned. I wiped the floor myself and was shocked to see the tissue come up brown — a clear sign the floors had not been properly mopped. The rug in the room also looked heavily used and neglected, as if it hadn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. 2. Unsanitary Conditions Beneath the sink bassinet, there was a visible buildup of dust and — to my disgust — a dead cockroach. This was particularly disturbing considering the room had supposedly just been cleaned prior to our check-in. It raised serious concerns about the hygiene standards maintained by housekeeping. 3. Foul Odor from Shower Area Every time we turned on the shower, an unpleasant smell would emerge. It smelled like something coming from the drains, possibly indicating they hadn’t been properly cleaned or maintained. It made the entire bathroom experience very uncomfortable. 4. Mold on Shower Heads The shower heads themselves were in poor condition, with visible mold buildup around the nozzles where the water comes out. This is not only off-putting but also poses a health risk, especially in a humid environment like Bali where mold can spread easily if not properly addressed. 5. Poor Bathroom Design and Drainage The layout of the shower area caused water to flood the entire bathroom every time we used it. The lack of proper separation or sufficient drainage meant that we constantly had to deal with wet floors — which is both inconvenient and dangerous. 6. Disappointing Breakfast Experience On one of the mornings, we waited over an hour for breakfast, only for it to arrive cold. Despite pancakes being listed on the menu, they were not available, with no prior notice or explanation given. This lack of attention to detail and guest satisfaction was disappointing. 7.

On the first night, when we entered the bathroom, there was a strong musty, mouldy smell. We informed the staff and asked for it to be cleaned multiple times. While they were responsive and the smell improved, there was still a lingering damp, mouldy odour throughout our stay, likely due to limited ventilation. The property is older than it appears in the photos. It was relatively clean, with daily housekeeping, but the room could benefit from a deeper, more thorough clean overall. Breakfast was good with a variety of options, which we appreciated. The staff were friendly and accommodating when asked. However, the mini bar and laundry service were overpriced compared to local options. Another downside was breakfast timing. Despite requesting specific delivery times, breakfast was often delivered earlier than requested, which disrupted our sleep on several mornings. The air conditioning was not well positioned and struggled to cool the room effectively, especially on hot days. The lighting layout was also awkward, with most of the light concentrated above the bed, leaving the rest of the room quite dim in the evenings. • Najla (5/5): Not recommended at all - Room size Low standard toilet cleanliness. Shower not working . Sinks are very old and over used. Not conditioned and weather too humid and hot so you take shower and again you are sweating while you are dressed up. The Villa were expensive related to the area nevertheless less they refuse to give us a complementary breakfast and we were 3 they refuse to give even covers and pillow till we extra pay 300 RP FIR EACH NIGHT !!!! Usually if we book Villa we can be 3 and still they provide extra bed even .

Whilst the villas themselves are wonderful, it is the staff that make this a truly exceptional place to stay. So warm, welcoming and a true example of genuine hospitality. I look forward to returning for a third visit!

The villa itself was beautiful, spacious, and very clean, with a private pool that made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and served right to the villa, which was a great touch. Overall, it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy Bali – I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

• Bradley (6/5): - Planned a surprise engagement for my partner to walk in an d be surprised with the decorated pool. The staff showed us to our room but opened the door when I told them not to and walked our bags in when I was telling them to leave it. Ruined the surprise. Also, we had a dead gecko on our kitchen bench, we had mosquito coils that I had purchased and brought with us from Australia stolen by one of the cleaners I assume, because I know I left a full packet on the bench. The bed was hard as a rock and we didn’t get the one off 15% discount as stated for our food and beverage service. The reception we’re pulling me up every single day for bills on the laundry or the mini bar when I told them consistently that I would sort the final payment out at the end of our stay. I rate this villa 2/5. Won’t be going back

It is a littlest bit out of the way, but that suited us after staying in other accommodation where the noise never stopped. It's a great place to spend time with each other. $3-$5 taxi ride into Kuta. We will be back!

• Austin (2/5): - I stayed here for my honeymoon, and I genuinely regret choosing this hotel. What was supposed to be a peaceful and relaxing experience turned into two nights of noise, stress, and complete disruption. The hotel allowed construction for a wedding stage to go on until midnight. we had to leave our room for three hours just to escape the unbearable noise. When we returned, it was still happening. The following night, the wedding itself took over with loud music, people shouting into microphones, and no consideration for the other guests trying to enjoy their evening. It completely ruined the atmosphere. When I complained, the hotel offered us a floating breakfast tray as compensation which felt like a shallow gesture given how much our stay was affected. I don’t feel this place respects guests who aren’t part of their events. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for peace, privacy, or a truly relaxing getaway especially for something as meaningful as a honeymoon.

• steve (8/5): - Stayed 8 nights. First 3 in 'Seminyak' villa. From the moment we walked in, it was wow. Spacious, clean and felt like a touch of luxury. The pool was amazing. Unfortunately, the noisey air con did not add to the 'touch of luxury'. To their credit, they did attempt to fix it but was short lived. After 3 nights we asked to be moved. They found a quieter (although smaller and less attractive) villa but was worth a great night's sleep. Management offered a free couples massage which was fantastic. Would recommend the floating breakfast. Staff were attentive and the shuttle we used for the last few days was worth it. Pleasant young driver. Not close to the hustle and bustle of Legian but that's not a bad thing. Big shout out to Cindy at reception. Nothing was a problem and her welcoming smile and assistance was a 10/10. Thanks Cindy. Will be back and would recommend (just say you want a room with quiet air con).

The bathroom was very well appointed The pool was old, missing tiles and was low on water. The pool was also not cleaned during our 4 night stay and the water level was below the skimmer box. The breakfasts were always cold. The room service changed their operating hours as they saw fit. It was advertised they open at 11. Most days they didn’t open till after midday.

The villas are beautifully set up, the pool a perfect temperature and the staff the most hospitable i have ever come across. A short walk to Dewi Sri food centre and Legian Food court is a great location. The onsite restaurant does a magnificent breakfast buffet at a very reasonable price. I cannot recomend this place highly enough.

Staff asked us to wait without any indication of how long. Pool was not clean. Room was not clean, looks like floor had only been swept, not vacuumed and there are carpet/rugs. Blinds and curtains had stains, discolouration and mould. Bathroom smells mouldy. Bath tub was cracked and dirty. Shower floor was slim, slippery and dirty. Staff refused to take away previous meal when delivering room service so we had to sit and eat with dishes stacked up. Noise levels were through the roof as we stayed over New Year period and trying to sleep was a challenge in itself. Final straw was my baby finding broken glass on floor. When i discussed this with hotel and asked for cancellation and refund of remainder of stay - there was no sympathy or care and they refused and can only offer change of room. At this stage i am not happy with their standards so just accepted the loss and moved somewhere else anyway. All in all, read previous reviews carefully and stay away.

• Blythe (10/5): Exceptional - This place is just beautiful. It's worth the money, in my opinion. I would will definitely be booking another stay here. The bed felt like a concrete slab. So if you prefer a soft mattress I'd avoid this place. Do not bother ordering food it comes from across the road at their sister hotel called Bloo, and I wouldn't eat anything that comes out of that kitchen. Gojek food.
• Natasha (8/5): cute & quiet ✨️ - Staying at the villa was lovely. The staff were fantastic, always smiling and willing to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The daily room servicing and mozzie preventative actions they took were much appreciated. The location is good if you don't want to be too close to the hustle and bustle of the busy streets. otherwise it's a 10-15 minute car ride into main streets of Kuta/Seminyak The restaurant is at the hotel next door. Food is average.

We all got Bali belly - have been before many times but first time getting sick.

Rooms were pretty clean so was the swimming pool. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended for groups and couples looking to have a great stay in bali.
• Ismail (9/5): Cosy and beautiful villa design. Walking distance to a really great restaurant named, Little Hong Kong and the Taman Air - The villa was cosy and clean. The staff was friendly and readily available whenever we had requests or questions. The design of the place allowed natural wind to enter the villa so we had fresh cool air circulating. Rooms were amazing especially since they all had their individual ensuite bathrooms. The airconditioning had a problem and water dripped into the room. The fan was wobbly during certain speeds and felt dangerous.
