- Gavin (3/5): Cold and miserable - Walking distance to town centre. No complimentary milk for coffee or tea, a coffee sachet was that old coffee was grey,NO HOT WATER after riding motorcycle for 12 hrs and in the cold.
- James (7/5): Location was good staff were nice but definitely some work to be done on the rooms - Location was great. Bed was fine and everything worked ok I didnt feel the room was worth $187 for the night. Very tired and in need of some sprucing up
- Bettina (6/5): - I’ve stayed several times and the property is good value for what you pay. The wifi is shocking and not usable at all. You couldn’t even connect the TV as the signal was so poor. Unable to use even on my devices.

- King (4/5): Disappointing - It presented itself well, and the bed was soft. There were no blankets on the bed (-2°) They were in a cupboard, and the reverse cycle air con did not work. The old oil heater did not do much. It was very cold in the room.
The room was an old donga re vamped. The noise from the neighbours woke me up multiple times during the night.
- Joanne (5/5): Was very average. Price per night was ridiculous for what you get - Comfortable bed Not the best looking place. Quiet run down and looks a bit dodgy
- Richard (5/5): OK but won't stay there again. - The place seems rundown...well the part we stayed in and the overall general appearance of the site.
For example, the motel sign out the front was faded and it wasn't exactly easy to work out that it was a motel. The place needs a big makeover!
What seemed to be a newer part may have been OK, but the part we were in wasn't much better than a construction donga.
I had enquired before we left home about guest laundry facilities and was assured there were, however, the facilities were one usable washing machine and one usable dryer! Not good enough.
- Sharon (5/5): A bit disappointed - The bed was comfortable. The room had an old noisy air-conditioning. Some of the curtains were damaged and didn't close properly and the bathroom was dated and stained shower alcove and toilet bowl
- Martha (6/5): Pleasant -
- Julia (8/5): Comfortable and clean. - Owner was extremely friendly and room was clean and comfortable. Lack of WIFI but in the outback so not a complete surprise.
- Stephen (7/5): Good -
- Steven (8/5): Very good -
- Jacinta (4/5): Disappointing - Bed was very comfortable It was very very noisy. The rooms have next to no sound proofing at all. We could hear every word our neighbours said. The room was clean but very small
- Jeneene (7/5): Good -
- Gerard (6/5): Pleasant - Did not stop for breakfast. Sleep and run. Looked tired from the outside.
- Michelle (7/5): Good - Friendliness of staff, location Noisy people next door
- Paul (8/5): Very good -

- Crystal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (4/5): Dated, small and in need of a good clean and upgrade. - No breakfast but position good Very old small and floors filthy
- Darryl (2/5): - Terrible
- Tahlia (2/5): - Walked into reception to be greeted to a fresh dog poo! Lovely for the $200 price tag for a dated room with sub standard amenities.
- George (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deborah (8/5): Very good - Great location. Comfortable. Lady at check in was not very friendly. I felt like I was disturbing her when I checked in.
- Rod (6/5): - Run down.
Older units need a paint.
secondary surfaces needed dusting
floor corners and window sills needed the dead insects cleaned out
- Kathleen (3/5): Poor -
- Julie (7/5): Good -
- Pauline (8/5): run down needs work - air con reverse worked well the bore water.
- Judy (7/5): Good - The position was great close to everything. The room was very old and dated but comfortable.
The service at checkin was very average. There was no one available at the office. I had to walk around and could not find anyone, i called the phone, but there was no answer so we had to go away and come back later.
- Vic (7/5): Good -
- Mark (6/5): A bit run-down for the price but passable & friendly staff - Location & friendly staff Bit over-priced
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Manuella (8/5): Very good -
- Nathan (9/5): Superb -
- John (4/5): - A single room cabin for $170 a night. We booked for 2 nights in advance. But when we approached the place to check in after a long drive we thought, "are you serious?". The signage was from a desert scene in The Terminater movie. Externally, a very run down establishment, poorly maintained. The grounds are ridiculous. The cabin air con worked well to counter the cold in the night (late May). No cook facilities. Its just an old place that suits the dinosaur context of Winton. The town deserves better.
- Leslie (8/5): Great, convenient. - Clean and tidy, friendly staff and great value for money. No complaints.
- Alexander (8/5): Reasonable motel in Winton - Old Style motel. rooms are a bit small but the rooms have been repainted, the beds are comfortable, the shower has good hot water and the staff are helpful and pleasant.
- Fletcher (9/5): Superb -
- Mihir (5/5): Passable -
- Rhonda (10/5): Exceptional - What a great little hidden motel. The staff were very friendly and the property was exactly what we needed after a long day of driving.
Clean room, easy parking, quiet location. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
- Robyn (5/5): Passable - Location and price
- Tracy (7/5): Good -
- Stephen (8/5): - It was a very nice place to stay the night, if anyone is looking for a good place to stay at Winton, I would recommend this motel.
- Heather (6/5): - Photos much better than reality. Reception area highly secured, which was unnerving re our security. But turned out security was not a concern. Balcony area outside the room dirty. Aircon not on before we checked in and I worked out had not been on for days. Consequently, the uninsulated former demountable room was very very hot when we arrived around 4.30pm. Meant the aircon which was extremently loud had to work overtime to bring the temp down, why not put the aircon on earlier??? Room was clean, bathroom only just ok. Fridge just ok. The location being next to the Municipal pool was a big plus. That pool is really excellent and to be recommended. Also the park in front of it with wonderfully clean free electric BBQ and shaded seating areas - old fashioned community facilities, which we really enjoyed.
- Christopher (8/5): Very good -
- Luke (8/5): - Great location, just a stroll into town. Lovely and quiet and felt very safe. Great staff and service
- Sandy (8/5): Very good -
- Annette (4/5): - No pool. Extremely dirty and unfriendly
- Iain (10/5): - Extended my stay by 1 night due to high season availability, the staff were very good - much appreciated.
- Glenn (8/5): Very good -
- Carter (9/5): Superb -
- tess (10/5): - Friendly staff and clean accommodation. Close to everything in town
- Rob (6/5): Pleasant - TV that works. Clean BBQ area
- ross (8/5): - Staff very helpful and central location in town
- Christine (7/5): Good -
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Janet (7/5): Good -
- Stewart (5/5): would not stay again - The whole complex is OLD and TIRED
Broken fibro wall at laundry and other parts of the building
- Bec (10/5): Perfect little room - Close to town Everything was great!
- Margaret (3/5): Poor -
- Wendi (6/5): Very glad to reach Winton - The beds were very comfortable. Got a goods nights sleep Nothing.
- Janelle (9/5): Superb -
- Deena (7/5): Please nice place to stay close to everything - Great Location very comfortable. Beds were great
- Euan (5/5): This accommodation was adequate for our needs as we were out and about during the day and only neede - Convenient location close to places to eat The lock on the door was broken and had been replaced by a bolt and padlock. When inside the door could only be closed with the security chain and required a case to be placed behind the door to hold it shut at night. The bathroom door did not shut properly due to swelling wood. This block of units was getting tired.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Creamer (7/5): Good - It was a bit to expensive.
For less price. We got much better accommodation in longreach.
- Kate (5/5): Nice place to stay for an overnighter in Winton. - Staff were extremely accommodating considering our late arrival and ensured we had a room large enough to fit a porta cot. The lights outside threw some light into the room which wasn’t ideal with a baby who prefers a pitch black room.
- Michael (6/5): Very enjoyable stay in a comfortable room in a lovely little outback town. - Friendly & very helpful staff. The room was simple but clean & comfortable. A short walk to everything in town. Nothing - it had everything we needed for our stay.
- Scott (5/5): Passable -
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (8/5): Very good - Courtesy of staff, location. It was clean and comfortable
- Judy (5/5): Passable -
- Helen (6/5): Ok but for the price would look for something a little better. - Location was very good. Room very small & not very comfortable given the price.
- John (8/5): Pleasant stay. - No breakfast. Pleasant stay. No problems. Pleasant stay.
- Iain (10/5): - Thanks for the four day part of my stay - didn't hesitate to book the extra night, would rebook because it is near the Winton Pool, the grocers and main street, ideal for Red Dirt Tours as well.
- Catherine (8/5): - The room was excellent and the staff very helpful. There was NO OUTDOOR POOL at all, as advertised on the WOTIF website. The pool was the Municipal pool for the Winton township, and is closed in winter anyway. When we remonstrated about the pool to reception, we were told they were not responsible. We could see it over the fence. There was also no garden at all. The walls between the units were very thin - we could hear if the next door occupants coughed.
- Debbie (1/5): Smelt of smoke the toilet plumbing made a very loud noise and also the very noisy fan they grounds and surrounds has emp - Nothing - leaving Everything
