• Marieke (8/5): - Wat een prachtig hotel aan de Golf van Mexico. We hadden een mooie, ruime en schone hotelkamer met uitzicht op de Golf. We zaten op de 9e verdieping wat echt heel fijn was. De zwembaden waren heerlijk, het was er niet overdreven druk. Ik heb deze accommodatie geboekt op booking.com. Voor 2 volwassenen en 3 kinderen. Bij de vorige hotels geen problemen, maar hier moest ik bijbetalen voor een extra bed voor onze jongste. Ze gingen er vanuit dat 3 kinderen (van 16, 14 en 9 jaar) wel met elkaar in een queensbed konden slapen. 'Zo is het geboekt op booking.com' kreeg ik als antwoord. Dit vond ik echt heel raar en vond het niet tof dat ik voor 2 nachten nog $200 bij moest betalen. De kamer die we kregen had 2 queensbedden en 1 stapelbed. Wat overigens een prima kamer was. Het ontbijt was goed, alleen vonden we het jammer dat er geen omelet/scrambled eggs werden geserveerd.
• Ivo (5/5): Good just because of location. - Room was spacious, parking was accessible, front desk staff was likable. Many of the spaces were poorly lit, and floors were eerie and solitary. For a hotel this price, breakfast was styled after any Holiday Inn. Housekeeping staff was responsive but not polite. For a place like Clearwater, this was a dark hotel. It took an emotional toll on my wife, who expected a lively, dynamic hotel. I was OK with it.

For those who do not need s beach the location is great excellent. On site bar and restaurant is perfect. Tired. Carpet old and stained through out. Very slippery unsafe floor tile around pool, there were a few warning signs. Infinity pool needs a "No Jumping" sign especially for kids , too shallow, dangerous. Music should be appropriate for the hour of the day.

• Amber (7/5): View was great, rooms was comfy. - Our room had a gulf view and it was beautiful! Location was great. We have a family of 5 and they gave us a double queen room (per their suggestion). My 10 year old had to sleep on the floor because they "couldn't" bring a rollaway in the room due to "law". Other downside was the breakfast. We were finishing grabbing out breakfast from the buffet and they just shut off the lights and started to tear down at 9:55. It felt quite rude. And lastly, I searched for hotels by "beachfront" and booked this hotel based on that. It was actually the first hotel to come up in results based on my search but it is not beachfront. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach access down the street.

• Catherine (9/5): Wonderful stay for our anniversary weekend, right on Clearwater beach. - Right in the action at Clearwater beach… walking distance to restaurants and Pier 60 and right on the beach! The pool is very well situated on the 6th floor level…great view “over the edge” of the water. Our gulf front room was slightly dated but comfortable. It was nice sitting on our deck with the beautiful gulf view. We were allowed to park in the garage prior to our check in, which was so great! Jimmy’s on the rooftop had great views and good burgers.

• DICKENS (7/5): Great - Cleanliness. Mason stated a few restaurants that we visited. Check out was a bit backwards front desk girl did not perform the requested suggestions of payment. Also requested resort fees to be reimbursed unsuccessful. There was absolutely no whirlpool or hot tub considering Florida is cool at night that would have made it awesome. Have an area of late night snacks.

The bed was very hard. The continental breakfast was horrible. I’ve never had such a terrible continental breakfast. The door to our room would not latch by itself. You had to pull it closed. The balcony door was very hard to lock.

• Marcel (8/5): - Das Zimmer war gross und die Aussicht war gut. Frühstück war nichts , Orangensaft war mehr Wasser als Orange und es gab keinen Toast ,keine Rühreier und auch keinen Speck . Wir haben in jedem günstigeren Hotel ein besseres Frühstück erhalten . Ferner standen zwei Frauen dort die geprüft haben ob man Gast ist und essen darf . Die haben die Gäste so beobachtet ,dass es einem schon unangenehm war Essen zu holen und hilfsbereit waren sie auch nicht,schade. Wir werden eher nicht noch einmal in dieses Hotel gehen . Die Damen vom Empfang waren freundlich .

The Continental breakfast was average but the restaurant next door was great and you get 10% off vouchers. Rooftop bar had TV's and a projector which was great for watching the 8pm football game. 1 block from the beach so it was easier to drive in and out for long trips and still convenient to walk everywhere in Clearwater

And the room was more than we expected. Our stay was one of the best we have had in Clearwater Beach. And I would contribute much of that to the Edge! The only thing I would consider a dislike would be the breakfast. A continental breakfast is and was fine. But I would hope that a hotel this nice and in a location so awesome could do better.

• Mercedes (8/5): Everything we needed! - Spacious rooms & bathrooms. Very friendly & accommodating staff. Hallways were noticeably more rundown than other areas. Only 1 elevator was functioning at the time.
• Jorge (7/5): It was an ok stay overall, probably wouldn’t stay again. - Jimmys, and the pool was ok 1st room was moldy smell and sheets were dirty, phone did not work. Moved us to better room but had to get new keys 3 days in a row, very inconvenient. Rooms are very outdated as well.

The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and we love the pool. Great location as well. There isn't anything we don't like about the hotel
