- Lori (4/5): - I booked and paid for a king size room in advance I checked in went to my room which was dirty was given another room in which the heating/air didn’t work and it was a double queen not what I booked or paid for came down to breakfast the next morning and their were ants all over the spoon and spoon rest which they were serving eggs got breakfast elsewhere was told my stay would be discounted which it wasn’t was told they had a hot tub which they do not staff is obviously not very knowledgeable and housekeeping is very lacking several people complained about their rooms being dirty the icing on the cake was they put up a big banner with balloons appreciating the housekeeping staff seriously

- Jenne (8/5): While visiting friends near by - The hotel was perfect for visiting nearby family. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the biscuits and gravy—my favorite! They also served sausage, eggs, cereal, breads, plus a waffle/pancake maker, yogurt, a chocolate milk machine, four juice options, and an all-day coffee station. I loved that they even had dark hot chocolate packets, apple cider, flavored creamers, and a nice tea selection. The pool was on the smaller side, but it didn’t have that strong chlorine smell, which I appreciated. There’s also a cozy fire pit outside, and the view of the open fields from the window was beautiful.

The breakfast was okay. gravy needs improvement. first morning we had to microwave the bacon it was badly undercooked Friday night stay was interrupted by noisy people in next room moving in around 11:00 pm then got loud at 5:00 am n turned on a radio at 6:00am. needless to say we were up by then!! No room cleaning on Sunday. air conditioner leaked on the floor and carpet was damp. no exhaust fan for the bathrooms. i guess what do you expect for 119. a night.

The first room did have some issues but they resolved those and moved us to a different room. In near future there will be some areas they need to replace/renovate but overall it was a very nice stay and met our family needs.

Sheets and bedding were clean and made but otherwise run down. Bathroom mirror was dirty; caulking in tub needs replaced, bathroom floor was sticky and visible soiled. Worked for a quick shut eye, but for the price point I certainly expected better facility.

- Crystal (4/5): Poor experience. - It needed refreshed paint everywhere, the entrance plaster was cracked or missing, some spackle and no paint. The shower grout was dirty, cracked and stained. The pool was disgustingly dirty, no chlorine smell, “stuff” and wads of hair floating everywhere. It had a nasty smell. Pool needed a new paint and repair. No one was at desk when I arrived, approximately 4:30 pm ish, I rang bell and someone sitting in the office yelled “what do you want?” When I said I wanted to check in, they came out and did so, not at all friendly. When I went to check out around 9:25 am the next day, no one was at the desk, I went out loaded my car, came back in and still no one was there, so I rang the bell waited about 5 minutes and noone came so I turned in my cards and left.

- Michael (6/5): - This hotel is in a convenient location to visit my parents and normally, staying there is a good experience. On the visit previous to this one, the stay didn't happen because when trying to get a room at 2am when we got into town, the clerk quoted a cost of $168 to sleep there for 8 hours. Crazy. And then on this visit, it was obvious there are a couple families living in the hotel. No problem with this. But one family brought their dog right in to the breakfast area - not just the seating area - but where the food is. The second family had three small children who proceeded to pick up a bowl and a plate they did not use and the adult with them just took the bowls and plates and put them right back on the stacks for others to use. I'm sure I'll stay here again but word to the wise - maybe bring your own dishes or avoid the free breakfast altogether.

The reservation has been in place for 10 months. We made the reservation in person at the Sleep Inn last July and received a call today that the hotel is over booked and they are cancelling our reservation! this is a high demand weekend and there is no excuse for cancelling with such late notice We did NOT cancel - Sleep Inn cancelled on the Choice Hotels website too !!!!! DO NOT TRUST Sleep Inn

Only issue was the pool room and pool being so cold you didn't want to swim. The back door was propped open with a floor sign, and there was tons of live ants in there.

The room was so filthy my husband went down to the front desk and retrieved a container of disinfectant wipes. He proceeded to wipe everything down from the shower doors the shower floor to the coffee table and even the side tables of the bedside. Not only that it smelled of cigarette smoke. After the window leaked water from rainfall on our first night, we were moved to a second room which smelled of marajuana. Previous visits this has never been an issue. Highly disappointed, we will not be staying again.

- Donna (4/5): - I was very disappointed. We pulled up & could not get under the entrance area because it was full of motorcycles and their smoking and cursing owners. Our room was located over the exit to the outside sitting area and pulled in all the smoke from their cigarettes and weed. My daughter and 1 month old granddaughter were staying with us so after two calls to the front desk my daughter went down and asked for another room. Both the first and second room needed dusted and the shower in the first room had colored hair on the wall. I was barefoot and my feet were so dirty from the carpet I had to wear shoes. Each night on our return we were greeted by all the motorcycles, their owners along with all the smoke and their drunken inappropriate jeers to even walk in. There were cigarette butt’s all over the ground outside. I even watched as I was leaving one morning as they put a tarp over the closest handicap sign. The pool water was disgusting. The staff was nice and tried to accommodate but this was a non smoking facility. I should have just called the police. I understand that you can have guests that you cannot control but they should have called the police when the smoking of the weed was so bad. They should have enforced that they clear the entrance area so other guest didn’t get soaked walking in from their cars, not allowed smoking at the entrance so guests didn’t have to be assaulted by the smell and their drunken behavior. What a waste of money and sleep.
- hypshark (10/5): Clean Affordable Hotel for Area - We were in the area for a friend's wedding in a remote area between Mansfield, Lexington, and Galion. The Sleep Inn (when viewing the reviews) had easily the best review vs. cost. Citing cleanliness, the hotel was very clean, which was our primary object. In addition, on our stay, the nightly rate was in the $120 per night range, which was very affordable compared to local hotels in the $140-200 per night range. Amenities: The Sleep Inn offered (for the King Room) a standard (and comfortable) King bed, nightstands with charging for mobile devices, decent -sized TVs, and a small 'college' refrigerator, which was perfect for our needs. The bathrooms consisted of shower only, but were complimented by good-quality toiletries. Good choice on Sandalwood (the soap 'flavor' that we had on our stay). The breakfast was a hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, sausage gravy, potatoes, waffles, as well as standard continental faire of bagels, fruit, toast, yogurt, etc. I am a tea drinker and loved the tea selection. Though there were 4-5 options, the main 3 were great-quality teas, and for those who want traditional, they included Lipton, etc. for brands 4 and 5. In addition, though we didn't take advantage of them, the site had a swimming pool. This looked inviting, but with helping in set-up for the wedding, then tear-down, we were too tired to try it out. Other perk - there's a 24-hour convenience store next door to the property with decent beer, wine, sports drink selection, as well as any 'grab and go' items that you might need for a 1 or 2-night stay.

My room did have some wear and tear on the desk. I used the guest laundry. Bring quarters as the front desk may not have many available. About 1 miles from the hotel is the town with restaurants and grocery stores.

Worst night of sleep in my life. The place smelled terrible, room was musty and there were stains on my pillow. Not a great experience after a long day of travelling cross-country for 11 hours.

- Cjay (2/5): - Nice staff but there was hair in the shower, items from the previous guest still there, air conditioner clunked all night, and the TV was not fully attached to the wall.
- Elaine (10/5): - Very quiet clean hotel. Air conditioner was more quiet than I usuaaly have in a hotel room.
- Kerrigan (10/5): - It was nice! Could use a little better cleaning, a few beard hairs in our sink & some dust on surfaces.
- Carla (10/5): - Really nice place. Recommend
- Larry (6/5): - Charged a $75 damage deposit and have not received that back yet. Was a very brief stay so can’t give a real good assessment but was about average.
- Chia (8/5): - Easy parking for truck and trailer.
