Manager remembered me from a month ago. Nitpicking a little here but walls are thin, could hear neighbours (however it was a quiet still night).

• Jenny (10/5): Little piece of heaven - Donald Riverside Motel was a very pleasant surprise for us. The owners have thought of their customer 's comfort. We enjoyed the terrace over looking the river. It was handy for us to enjoy our meals out there. They even had a community area with a BBQ and table and chairs. The room had everything we needed. The bathroom was exceptional. We hope to be back Neighbour next door who appeared to not like our soft talking on our terrace. Can't please everyone

• Smith (10/5): Very impressed for a country motel - As mentioned before - dont judge a book by its cover. Visually on arrival it appears old but when you get into the room it is very clean and comfortable with a modern bathroom and clean comfortable beds. Will certainly come back here again.

A sink is provided in another location within motel complex but this is not convenient when you are travelling with little ones

It was a simple yet wonderful place to stop - clean and tidy, staff were very friendly and helpful. They had a portacot set up ready for our baby. The view of the river and gums was stunning. We loved it!

• Stephanie (8/5): If you're looking for a convenient, clean, well-cared-for country motel, then this fits the bill. - Andrew and his family are welcoming and can't do enough for you. Our room had everything we needed and the bathroom was renovated and spotless. The fridge, toaster and kettle made breakfast self-catering easy and both the balcony and air conditioner meant we could keep cool in the hot conditions. The location is right on the main road, which makes it convenient (but we didn't notice traffic noise at all).

Loved the balcony looking out over the river and bushland. TV worked well. Good reception. Hot water was good. Fridge and microwave were clean. Really couldn’t fault this motel. Maybe the wifi was a bit slow, but hey, you’re in Donald.
