Guest Reviews
- Sibusiso (6/5): Could have been better, - It was nothing compared to my expectation, I was put up in what looked like a servant's quarters at R750,00 a night. We slept..., I guess it is all that matters.
- Tim (2/5): Do not book - Worst ever
- Elizabeth (2/5): Do not stay here - Very difficult to find, down a back road, with clear problems with security. All night high flood lights, with doors that have clearly been clawed befor. You can do better than this place. By the way, no hot water at all.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not good - My traveler commented that she felt unsafe in this hotel property. She advised that the host often cooked breakfast in nothing but a towel and that the rooms were not well cleaned.
- Marsea (6/5): Okay place, but not a "boutique "or a "lodge". - This was a room in a converted garage of a house. It was clean, it was comfortable, it was small. While the property itself was secure, the door to the room looked like it could easily be broken into because the metal frame wasn't secured well to the wall. But it was not a hotel and I don't think the description was accurate. We also had a problem with checking in as the owner was unaware we were coming, perhaps due to the fact that we had just booked online that day, but there seemed to be no system in place for this common situation. As a result, the woman on duty didn't want to check us in until she spoke to the owner and this took a bit of time. We understood her predicament, and she was very kind about it, but we encourage the owner to find a way to avoid a problem such is this. It really wasn't right that we had to sit in someone's living room for 40 minutes waiting for the owner to be found, when we had properly booked online and had already paid for the room. Also, they advertised wi-fi, but there was none. Please note: Do NOT follow Google Maps directions to this place...it took us through the sketchiest part of town, an area worse than any either of us had ever been in in our lives, and we are both very seasoned travellers.
