The only thing that happened is we were woken up by people talking very loudly around 4am outside the building. They talked for a good 10 minutes with no consideration to people sleeping. Not the properties fault but still something that happened.
- Rachel (6/5): - It was easy to get in and out of. The rooms weren’t too bad, but it definitely wasn’t what was advertised in the pictures. The shower curtain rod was falling down, so the curtain wanted to open on each side. The shampoo and conditioner dispenser was gone, my husband hit his arm off of it and scuffed it pretty good. The beds were alright. Would we stay here again, unlikely but you never know.

- Chris (10/5): Fun at the Four Seasons Lodge - Hotel was beautifully appointed and clean. Tucked in next to a lovely creek. Thank you to friendly and helpful staff.
- Dustin (8/5): - Bed was very comfortable. Not a high end place but was just fine for a good nights rest and a shower. We were camping all week and gave us a good nights sleep before our drive home. Also the river runs behind the property. No ac but not needed with colorado temps and can open a window to chill the room at night. Would stay again.

The hotel itself was cute with a rustic cabin vibe. The location was walking distance to everything else in the area, and there was a beautiful creek behind it. I would absolutely recommend this place.

The vanity was not secured to the wall. No towel racks by vanity. Cracked areas in floor in main area of room.. No hand rails by steps to get to room. - Bonnie (6/5): - The cabin we stayed in (19) was a bit aged. There was only one key and no deadbolt. The carpets could use cleaning and the toilet was very small, old and not attached to the floor completely. It was nice having a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and dishes/pans, towels, and soap/shampoo. There was a new queen-sized sleeper-sofa. Unfortunately, sitting on the sofa was as about as comfortable as a concrete bench. We did not test the fold out sleeper mattress. Fortunately the two queen-sized pillow-top beds were comfortable, as were the pillows (3 on each bed). We knew there is no air conditioning but we were unable to open the windows in the bedroom to get air. They did provide fans, which helped a bit.
- Tim (8/5): - Clean and quiet. We were there for 4 nights, no maid service. Lots of people smoking in the parking lot.
- tonya (6/5): - There was NO AIR-CONDITIONING. The room was TERRIBLY hot and stagnant up on arrival around 10pm. They had a ceiling fan and 1 of the 2 windows opened but it took a few hours of having the window open until the temperature dropped into the low 70s to where it was tolerable. I called the desk to make sure there wasn't AC. No. I asked for a Dan to help draw in the outside air, no. I was miserably hit for about 3 or 4 hours. There wasn't a working ice machine on site. We were on the first floor so sleeping with an open window as the only way to cool off a room that was SIGNIFICANTLY hotter than the outside temperature isn't safe but it had to be done. The bed, linens, TV, fridge, bathroom were all nice and clean. It's sad the temperature wasn't tolerable because with some air-flow and an AC I would give this A plus. But, I cannot sleep with a room 800degrees and stagnant.

The kids had their own space (separate sleeping area) so they could sleep in. I enjoyed amazing coffee from the porch. Close to the river so got to experience that. We are from MN so this was such an awesome place to stay and experience CO. Over the 7 days and 7 different hotel stays this by far take first place!

- Christopher (10/5): Nice convenient affordable spot - We have stayed here twice, recently. Room 17 was nice, easy access and 2 beds in 2 separate rooms. Nice use of space. Unfortunately, the front room window at street level had no screen. We like to sleep cold. It was a bit stuffy. This time we stayed in room 4. There was not as much room as room 17 and there was a couple of steps access. There was a screen in the window and an overhead fan.
- Anonymous (1/5): will never go to a travel lodge again - I barely signed in and person handed me a stained very cheap towel and stated any stainss you get charged. any thing leave dirtly you get charged. These are the chaepest towels and bedding I have ever seen at a cheap hotel. Outside very scary as at 3:30 am I went outside to let my dogs go potty and there were 3 campers, rvs, pop up campers and 2 cars with people and stuff all around them wide awake. Looked like homeless camp had set up shop.
- Chris A (10/5): Clean but temporarily confused - The first picture of the lodge is of a different property about a mile away, which made us think we were booking a different place. This motel doesn't look like much from the road, but it's roomy and clean. It has great beds.

- Ricci (2/5): Very displeasing and disappointing - If I wasn’t so tired I would have went somewhere else. Cabin smelled dirty. Toilet was nasty, shower had mold, shower curtain was too short water everywhere every time we showered we had to clean up water. The shower was so small. Light fixture in bathroom light bulb out and dried water drippings looked very gross. Old blood stains on sheets, lipstick stains on pillowcases, I went to get fresh sheets, the very nice gentleman gave me sheets that were not folded just rolled up and smelled musty just like they came out from grandmas smelly old cabinet. Space heaters everywhere the one in the bedroom was so loud my husband slept on the dirty couch. The coffee pot was filthy. Light fixtures had bugs. Someone had there radio booming at 7:00 in the morning It was not a very restful place at all for our family. I would not have stayed if we weren’t so very tired.

- Aida (10/5): Cozy and comfortable - We were on an early season biking trip and made a stop in here to take a shelter from a snow storm. It was a perfect choice! Such a lovely and cozy place. Great and pleasant staff welcomed us (bonus:fresh baked cookies) 😀 Creede is only 20 miles away. Gone Rogue is a great local place to eat, if you like house made from scratch food.

- Danette (2/5): - The office smelled like pot smoke. The motel refused to refund the one nights stay when we left a day early. The reservation was messed up from the beginning. I was given the excuse that since it was made online through Expedia, I had to go through them.
- Jonathan (4/5): - I wish I had known something about this place before I booked a room, it was the worst place I’ve stayed in quite some time. The room looked like the only thing that had been updated since the 80s was the TV and the toilet. Even the floor in my room was sagging and lumpy, with carpet staples or something sharp poking through in a few spots. The stairs and walkways felt like they were going to fall off the building. Even though it’s a non smoking hotel, there were I let’s full of sand and cigarette butts outside most rooms. The door to my room looked like it had been forced open at some point and the latch plate was hanging loose in the door frame. I had to work at it to get the door to stay closed when I went out for food. The deadbolt worked, but the key I was given didn’t fit that lock, so all I had to protect my belongings while I ran to pick up dinner was the doorknob latch.

- Felicia (4/5): Disappointing - Location Apartment nice and great deal. 2 bedrooms. Apartment above me was noisy and you could hear everything. The cabin they moved me to due to noise was cold, old and a window had an extension cord jammed in the window seal so the window could not lock and the cord was a fire risk. If this was fixed and room updated the location is spectacular on the river.

- Peter (10/5): PowLovers HQ for Wolf Creek - Stayed her for 4 days while we skied at Wolf Creek. Affordable and great location. Super pizza place close by as well as another restaurant. It's a good location for powder lovers heading in from 285 and Denver. First time skiing Wolf Creek. Storm Skiing. Great mountain. Can't wait until I return.
- Gerald (5/5): Clean comfortable room but needs some minor repairs. - The location was good and room was clean. The room had an older rustic feel to it. Beds were reasonably comfortable. Staff was courteous and made themselves available if we needed anything. There was a fridge and microwave. There is a grocery store nearby which closes at 8 p.m. The room needs some updating. It appears like they have started but not finished. For example, the sink and vanity seemed to be newer but did not finish the walls around where the old vanity was. Plaster needs to be repaired by the sink and a towel rack added (there was none). Other minor fixes could be finished. Door handle to the room was loose.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Bait and Switch - Choose something else - These photos show an updated lodge. What we had wasn’t that at all. Super outdated and the photo even is of a building behind the actual lodge not the real thing. In the middle of the night it got so hot we had to wake up and turn off the heat and open the door to outside to circulate the place. You hardly could move around in the bathroom it was so small, nothing like the pics (photos I took were on a .5lens). No AC, super old heater probably why it wasn’t working right in the middle of the night. Bed was OK-ish for the price but definitely an old mattress based on color and sheets. Wouldn’t recommend, stay in Pagosa even if it costs more. Not many food options in town and most are so full you must wait hours. There also isn’t any sidewalks. Parking lot of hotel is very tight and small. Same with walkways to get to room.
- S1888NAallisonc (2/5): Frozen Pipes - I will gladly remove this review if management provides me with a refund for my stay. I recognize that many things went wrong that were not necessarily in their control, and am only writing this review because they denied our refund request. I booked a stay on AirBnb in October for Presidents Day weekend. I was called three weeks ahead of our stay and told the property was no longer available for short term rentals, and was given Cabin 18 at the Four Seasons as a replacement accommodation. I am very familiar with the South Fork area, visit multiple times each winter, and am absolutely fine with budget travel. We were fine with the adjustment since it still had a kitchen, allowed dogs, and did not have shared walls. When we arrived, we learned that the cabin does not have functioning heat and instead had three space heaters set up around the place. On our first night, the temperature dropped to 17 degrees (not that cold for Colorado winter) and the pipes froze. The space heater in the bathroom had gone off overnight - we learned throughout our stay this would happen occasionally because the outlet in the bathroom could not support the space heater without occasionally hitting the outlet reset button. We contacted management around 6am who got a hold of the maintenance person and started looking for solutions if the pipes remained frozen. We had to go to a gas station to use the bathroom since there's no communal bathroom on site and purchase gallon water jugs to be able to drink water in the morning and fill water bottles for a day on the mountain. Around 8am, they came by the room to let us know we could go shower at one of their other properties but we were already headed out the door to go ski. They did offer to put us in a hotel room at a now third property in town, but we declined because it did not have a kitchen and we had brought a ton of food with us for the weekend. Later, they found another room that still had someone in it that had a kitchen - we would be able to move there once done skiing for the day. We told them we'll just stay in the original location as long as the water works since we did not want shared walls as we were traveling with our two dogs. For the second night, we blasted the three space heaters, having to reset the one in the bathroom twice during the night, and sleeping on top of the covers since the place was so hot. Pipes were fine the next morning, but we we opted to leave a day early to drive home given the situation. We informed management that we had checked out by 7:30am and requested a refund. The management company ignored our request for a refund for 24 hours and only responded after multiple calls and texts that they had met all our requests and would not be refunding any part of our stay. Honestly, I appreciated how quick they were to find us another property when the first one fell through and their effort to find us another place to stay when we weren't sure if the pipes would defrost. Where I am struggling is that there was not functioning heat in a cabin being rented in winter in the mountains.

- LIN (4/5): - The desk chair seat had stains. The front desk said that there was no way to clean them. The wash sink drainage plug was not working and the maintenance person made a wrong diagnosis and failed to repair it. The shower water was insufficient. During my stay of five nights, the room was never cleaned. They were unable to provide basic hot chocolate as promsed.

- Scott (8/5): - I was looking for something that was clean, inexpensive, and close to Wolf Creek Ski Area. The 4 Seasons was perfect for what I needed. Although the facilities are a little outdated, it was clean and had all I needed. The water pressure can be a little unpredictable sometimes, but, overall, I had a good experience and would recommend it to others.
