Hotel bar and reception very good. We enjoyed an evening meal in a podd in the garden which was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked everything and would recommend the hotel.

Upon leaving we noticed what looked like a generator room or similar where the humming was coming from.

My breakfast was cooked fresh and was very delicious. The staff were friendly but service was a little slow, the hotel did seem busy. The bathroom was a little dated and needed a refurb.

Great rooms, food and general atmosphere The service in the restaurant could of been better, we were waiting 20 minutes before we got a drinks order taken, and had to ask for more drinks at the bar during the meal. • wakefield (10/5): - Very good,we had a lovely friendly greeting from all staff followed by a surprise upgrade to a wonderful room overlooking the rear paddock. We have an electric car and we're very happy with the easy operation of the onsite charging facility. Although we didn't partake in any food as we had prior arrangements in place the food we did see looked really appetising. All in all Very good Nothing
