• caitlindV8727AJ (2/5): Unacceptable - Thanks for the nonexistent phone call regarding our reservation being cancelled, because your hotel closed. Nothing like planning to arrive at 1am on a flight with my family to find we have no hotel. You are a chain, unacceptable to not give us notice… we could have found a cheaper hotel months ago if we were given notice.
• I2169WAlindaa (2/5): Furious! - Same as the previous review one week ago. Booked months ago for a trip in July. Called to confirm and was told the hotel no longer exists. No notice to those that had booked. Lucky that we called to ask a question. Absolutely unacceptable!!!!!!!
• Compass22074284050 (2/5): Aspen Hotel No Longer Exists - Called the hotel today to confirm by booking and they said Aspen Hotel no longer exists and that it's a shelter now. Never was told my booking was canceled. My stay is in July and it's a good thing I called to confirm my upcoming stay. Now I have to figure out a different place to stay even though this was booked months ago when room rates weren't so high. Horrible customer service for the hotel and Booking.com.

• Luis (8/5): - Everything fine with my room. In good condition and cleaned. However, when I arrived I got a room that was already occupied. I was a bit dissapointed for this situation and embarrassed with the other person in the room. The issue was fixed in the moment. It is the last thing you think.is going to happen. Anyway, it was a good stay and the hotel in good condition. I enjoyed tje stay and facilities
• John (10/5): Staff of Exellence, Ms. Ella Jean - Our stay at Aspen Suites of Anchorage is always a pleasue. The staff, makes it so, we are always treated very well. One staff member stands out the most, and that is Ms. Ella Jean, the housekeeping Manager. We have been regulars at the Aspen, and have been able to share the success of the hotel, and Ella Jean as she moved from the front desk to her current postion, and employee to charish for sure.

• norme198 (10/5): Our stay at the Aspen in Anchorage - We were there for a medical proceedure for my wife. The staff offered us the perfect services and the room was perfect for a three day stay. Everything we needed was close by and easily accessable. We would stay here again in the future. Easy check in early with no problem.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was easy. Parking was convenient and the outside area was nice and clean.

• FarAway10017692744 (10/5): I will continue to choose the Aspen - I choose to stay at The Aspen if I’m traveling for business or with my family. The hotel is extremely clean, safe and the large rooms have kitchens which is great for making a quick breakfast or lunch. The beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

• John (10/5): Home Away from Home - It was a typical stay at Aspen of Anchorage, everything was what you would expect out of a great Hotel. Aspen is a great Hotel. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure we are comfortable and have the things we need. Ella Jean is a jewel, and although she is not at the desk anymore she has taken her glowing personality, and her care for the guest and trasision that into the house keeping side of the Hotel. Our rooms have never been cleaner and our needs are always met. Thank you Aspen for our Home away from Home.

Reasonable prices and close to restaurants, Bear Paw is with in walking distance and you get a 10% discount if you don’t forget your room key or ID, the movie theater, and You Beauty hair salon and spa. Which is where you should go for all you hair and spa treatments!!.

I would definitely use this Hotel again, and I'll recommend it to my friends in the future. Some of the best street tacos I've ever had were served by one of the local restaurants that was within a mile of the Hotel.

The toilet Paper is so cheap it is barely usable, coffee is good but call to make sure it’s available and lobby isn’t blocked off….as late as 8:30am one morning. Staff are polite and efficient at front desk, and maid service is great.

The last time we stayed with you, we noted that the pillows were terrible and there were not enough blankets, so this time we took our own pillows and an extra blanket. The security gaurd meet me in the entryway with 30 second, checked my ID and got me my room room key with no wait. The suite was clean and bed was comfortable. Checkout was easy and the price was great.

I appreciate the Alaskan rate as other hotels don’t offer that, it helps a lot with the costs so high with everything, it’s a nice break

Desk clerks and housekeeping are always friendly and willing to assist with whatever you need whether it's more coffee, an extra blanket, or directions about town. I love the kitchenettes that have a full refrigerator and decent sized freezer section. Very good black out curtains will keep the light as well as extra noise out of the room.

• JenS202 (10/5): Aspen Suites - Stayed here on a business trip for 4 nights. Large rooms that were clean and comfortable. Very kind and friendly staff. They had security present at night as the front desk is closed. Located in Midtown so buses to downtown on the weekends were not very reliable. We utilized Uber to go downtown as we didn’t have a car.

The bathroom had a full tub and was very roomy with a full mirror/closet. Staff was pleasant and friendly. The hotel was promoting Breast Cancer Awareness month providing ribbons, pens and mints which was very nice.

• X1691DCbilln (10/5): Welcome Home - I felt I was welcomed as "family" and not as a stranger. The two people on duty when I arrived about 6 pm are real jewels and an asset to the property. The room was clean, large and very comfortable. The hotel is also dog friendly. Staff was just as polite and cordial to my dog as they were with me.
