- PaulandCelest (4/5): Book at your peril, don't believe the fake reviews - Did not get the room we booked, reception just said sorry not available. The room we were given was a cheaper room but we were not offered a partial refund. The hot water in the shower did not work. Breakfast was poor quality and cold. We were so unhappy that we checked out 2 days early with no refund. Got a surprise a few days later when we got a message from booking.com thanking us for our review, odd as we had not done one. On checking we had done a review leaving no comments but a score of 10 rating it excellent. On further examination of reviews it is obvious that this hotel has found a way to do there own reviews on customers bookings and using customers names. The vast majority of 10 rating reviews have no comments attached, informed booking.com but they we not interested. FALSE REVIEWS
- theab542 (6/5): Good location - Proximity to the beach is great, just a minutes walk. And several restaurants nearby. Room cleaning could use some help, housekeeping not great at removing the dust. The room itself is fine with blackout curtains, comfortable bed , cold AC and plenty of hot water. The only downside were the unattended children at the pool. It would be great if management would enforce the pool rules. Other than that, pool was clean and nice to swim in on those hot days with plenty of sun beds, umbrellas and pool towels.

- RonaliceH (10/5): Nice play to stay and friendly staff - We stayed here 03 nights during laboration holiday. A family room with 02 separate bedrooms and bathrooms is really comfortable for 04 of us. The swimming pool is large and clean, the restaurant serving breakfast on the 03rd floor comes with gorgeous sea view, not too much choices but the food is so so in overall. Specially, the receptionists are ao friendly and helpful, there was some problem with hot water system in bathroom, I have just call them and they come immediately to solve it. Highly appreciate!
- T7184GDadamm (6/5): OK - Good location, quality of room for the price was disappointing. Can get as good a room nearby at a smaller resort for 50% of the price. Bar had good deals on throughout the day. Pool area really good. Breakfast distinctly average. Same price but better would be Phuong Binh Resort which is a stones throw and closer to the beach. If the price was lower I would be happy, but just didn’t justify the 800(ish)000VND a night.
- Experience791981 (10/5): Hotel that near to the beach with swimming pool and good receptionist - The hotel facilities was good. The receptioniat especially the girl in the picture was really kind and helpful, they speak very well basic english. She help to arrange my 8hour island tour with taxi with a very nice guy too. What i can say although the driver can't speal well english, but he very very keen to bring us tour all the good places like starfish beach, sao beach even recommend good price of seafood in ham ninh fishing village which is also one of his friend too! Call him for the best service! Of course because of brenta receptionist i get to know the kind taxi driver too. The hotel provide motorcycle rental too at 150dong per day charge. Only things, muslim really need to pre inform them that you are vegetarian with seafood only. Because the breakfast line did served pork too. So me and my husband only get to eat bread, salad, bolied eggs and coffe from their coffee machine. Overall, the cleanness is well done.

Завтраки, кофе -супер, море под боком.

- stevegI7137FQ (8/5): Excellent location - Love visiting this hotel whenevr we are on Phu Quoc, the staff are absolutley brilliant and nothing is too much trouble, they put up with rude Russians who are the only blight on this great hotel. The location is perfect and it takes literally 2 minutes to walk from the door to the sea, the bar and pool are excellent. I would advise getting to the buffet breakfast early to beat the Soviet hoardes who seem to think they are in some sort of gulag and as such steal all the food they can get their hands on

- Wonneda (6/5): False advertisement - We booked three nonsmoking rooms. 2 of 3 rooms were smoking rooms. We had to move 2 times. Checked in took more than 30 mins. Rooms advertised showed 3 bigs windows ( sliding doors). We got rooms with no windows. They have smoking every floor in front of common elevators.
- winnie9525211 (8/5): Lovely staff, good position - The hotel was in a great area, near the beach and alley ways with restaurants and bars. Reception staff were great, very helpful and friendly. There seemed to be an issue with smelly drains in the bathrooms, perhaps only on the first floor but this was the only issue. Pool area lovely and breakfast good.
- Sarah (8/5): - Nice modern hotel, close to the beach. The hotel does have sunloungers available at the beach but only maybe 6, however we did not find this a problem as you could get a beanbag and a beer for 50,000vnd next door :) The pool area is lovely, there is also a hottub and sauna available however we did not use these during our stay. Good selection at breakfast, probably one of the best of the hotels we stayed in during our trip to Vietnam. Room clean n tidy, although saw a few bugs but nothing unacceptable. Only slight niggle was on check in, they wanted to keep our passports for the duration of our stay, we insisted that we wanted to keep our own passports and they didnt put up too much of a fight. This decision was justified as a couple of hours later we went to reception, which was unattended and there was a pile of passports left on the side. Overall a pleasant stay!

- Ted (6/5): - Hotel hard to find (tip: look for signs to Arcadia). Room really wasn't that clean - dirty light switches, some hair on the floor. When I got there the TV didn't work. I found that the aerial was unplugged and fixed it myself. The phone didn't work - the maid fixed that. Bedside light didn't work (I didn't bother complaining). Room safe quite tricky to operate. Bed was a little hard but comfortable enough. Cheap foam-filled pillows. Good bathroom and shower with instant hot water. Breakfast is adequate but not a big range. Close to beach, which I guess is what allows this very average hotel to fill itself. The mostly Russian guests maybe don't mind.
- WestAussiechick7 (8/5): Poolside sunshine - The Brenta Hotel is a great place to stay for families, couples, friends or singles. Rooms are spacious and clean, containing a small fridge, cupboard space and small sitting area. The shower in the bathroom is big enough for 2 people. The buffet breakfast is served on the rooftop of the hotel overlooking the ocean. Breakfast includes eggs cooked your way, baked goods, fruit, bacon and other meats plus a couple of international dishes daily like fried rice or spaghetti. Although the pool is not massive it has about 15 sun beds and a spa. The hotel bar is also attached to the pool area. This space is relaxed and has enough sunny spaces for those who want to get a tan. The hotel itself is close to a bunch of bars and location restaurants and its approx. 100 meters walk to the beach. The beach is worth a visit, especially at sunset.
- NaiNai2014 (6/5): Hotel stay - We stayed at the Brenta for 7 days. Upon checking in to thr “upgraded Sea View room”, we discovered the room has minimal sea view. In speaking to the General Manager, he advised there is no other room, he is aware the room does not have a sea view and the advertisement may be misleading. Less than helpful he was. Meanwhile the rest of the staff at the desk are eager to make your stay pleasant. The housecleaning is acceptable. Breakfasts are of good quality with efficient service. So if you are looking for a view be aware of what is promised when you select your room.

- wandermust13 (8/5): Good Location, Clean rooms - Brenta Hotel is located very close to the quieter area of the beach (2 min walking) and a lot of restaurants when you walk to the main road (4 min). The staff allowed us to do early check -in for the room that was available which was good, however, they seemed to be a bit stingy with their beach towels. Breakfast was decent, though refills were very slow. You should go early for breakfast. We have the sea view room which was a bit small but it was good and clean, the view was incredible and the beds were comfortable. The pool is also nice and clean with a bar next to it if you want to just relax, read a book and sip on a nice drink in the afternoon.

From my first encounter with this hotel I felt comfortable, I enjoyed the email booking and communication The various Booking agents replied back quick and professionally, I got a great (small) room with Some ocean view, from the girls at the reception always smiling and Very polite, speak very good English, will help you plan your stay And get around the island if needed as well. Room always clean, extra towels,, no problem. The only bad thing I can say about this location is the kitchen stuff, dining room stuff, And the breakfast. Breakfast dining room not clean, can find ants on the table and you can find ants in the Jelly, dishes not clean. Coffee?! Forget it, Not good. Minimum choice of food. Maybe when hotel is full there is a bigger variety because there were a lot of empty serving dishes. Very simple salad bar, no choice of brad, when you order scrambled eggs or an omelet you always get it wrong because they don’t understand English. Another problem was my room was under the kitchen So when they start to work at 6:30 AM They turned on the music very loud, Every morning I had to call down and complain, In general. I do recommend this hotel.

- 971thyn (8/5): Good value ! - Brenta Hotel is in a alley but so many hotel , bar, restaurants, shop ...around. Brenta is a new hotel , close by beach . Sea view room is fantastic. Staffs are friendly! Near the center of Duong Dong, night market ... Should rent a bike to go around Phu Quoc during your stay !

- M (10/5): I stayed two weeks. - I booked this place because of the positive reviews - new (and likely clean/safe), close to beach/restaurants, a pool, and a solid buffet breakfast; not to mention the seemingly good value. Well, after 2 weeks, it was all that and more. And what made it better was the team (family-run and friends of family) that runs this place. Friendly, genuine, and accommodating staff. For example, if you asked for something or had a concern, you were serviced immediately with a sincere look of concern. You will be truly cared for at this place. This review wouldn't be objective if I only highlighted all the great things. But really, there were few downsides. Wi-fi was a bit weak and walls were a bit thin but this was somewhat expected. Other than that, this place has it locked down.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were very clean and newly renovated. Beach area is a very public space but still offers a beautiful view during sunset. Very clean and tidy in an quiet location.
- Helen (10/5): Beautiful Hotel - We arrived early and were checked in asap, room lovely, staff astounding! The command of the English language fautless. Nothing was too much trouble. We needed an extra adaptor for plugging in our devices, no problem. The staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast buffet plentiful and lovely. Fantastic location, building works taking place all around but that is only to be expected as this is an up and coming resort. All in all a lovely and very welcome beach break from our travels. Many thanks to all of the wonderful staff involved.
- lisa (10/5): Great hotel - Brilliant location for beach, no road to cross and 1 minute away from a glorious beach with a few beach bars but not over touristy. Reception staff speak great English, only downside there is no pool but with a warm sea around the corner, I didn't care. And breakfast was a bit limited could do with more choice
