- John (10/5): - Excellent stay in an excellent location
- Gary (8/5): Rustic Charm - I have stayed here several times, and it is my first choice in this town. The rooms are basic in layout but very comfortable and supplied with the quality Coffee pod machine and toiletries.
The bistro is always well above most for my steak order and the in-town location is perfect.
- michelle (8/5): - A
- LIANE (8/5): - Friendly and efficient staff. Easy check in and checkout. Everything is close. Great experience. TV was not easy to navigate for those who are not used to scanning and logging into accounts.

Lovely designed room, very modern, very clean. The big plus was it was a few steps from the pub and we had a fantastic dinner there.

- Kerstin (8/5): Nice little town to stay over night -
This motel belong to the Pub and it's very nice situated behind the Pub. Very clean and the parking is good.
You can eat Lunch and Dinner there but not Breakfast. We had breakfast at a cafe not far from the Pub. It was excellent and a lot of choices. Thai restaurant across the street was very good!!
- Julianne (8/5): - The receptionist was also the front of house manager and was very friendly and helpful as well as efficient.
- Kim (10/5): - Great location, clean and beautiful meals.
- Kerrie (10/5): - we stayed for 3 nights. Everything was easy from check in to leaving. Very friendly staff and very close to everything. Quiet and updated.
Will stay here every time we visit Gulgong.
- Suzy (10/5): - Staff are so helpful
- Robyn (8/5): - Ive travelled the world and this property is equal to any 3 star international hotels. I willl use it again without hesitation
- Bruce (10/5): - The age of the building. Good.
Hotel at front Dingy and over the top. Bad.
- Graham (8/5): - All was good, and the 'Pub' experience very pleasant.
- Paul (10/5): Perfect holiday experience. - Love Gulgong! What a great little town. Has all the basics such as pubs, RSL, Bowling Club, Cafe's, Touristy stuff.......my favourite holiday is to stay in a small satellite town of a larger town which has all the facilities and bustle, but just 20 minutes away from all that. Best of both worlds! Gulgong has a wonderful personal touch of a friendly small beautiful village. The staff and the town folk could not have been more welcoming warm and friendly. Gulgong is a wonderful town and Prince of Wales Motel/Hotel/Restaurant were everything we hoped we'd find, and in many ways more .
- Dusanka (10/5): - Room was so lovely bed very comfortable perfect bathroom very clean
- Michael (8/5): Great place for a stopover - Spacious and comfortable cabin at pub in the centre of town.
- Gary (10/5): Nostalgic old pub - Historic old pub with heaps of 1800s character, BUT has very modern, clean and up to date motel accommodation. I stay here with my clients, when I am in this area
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Historical
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful little place. Out of town but worth the experience. Great atmosphere in pub. Wonderful Thai restaurant across the road that requires a booking.
- John (6/5): - the room was small and the facilities were adequate
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Fit for purpose
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved staying at the Prince of Wales. It was so clean and comfortable. There were lots of lovely touches to make our stay special. We would easily stay again - it was fabulous!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was very clean and comfortable, will be staying there again in August. Reasonably priced and very welcoming recommend it to anyone,
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Far too small for travellers. Nowhere to put clothes or baggage
Heating did not seem to work. Need to have a welcome envelope with key therein and explanation of trick as to how to open the door and how to make sure key was fully inserted to work said air con and include Wi-Fi password to eliminate various trips to reception. Also electric blankets seemed to shut-off automatically in the middle of the night.
- JOAN (10/5): - Had a great stay here. Very helpful staff. THANKYOU, we will be back.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved the helpful staff and the unique place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very old quaint pub building. Modern enough motel rooms. Lovely staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place to stay. The staff are friendly and easy to get on with. Meals are huge and good quality. Would stay and eat there again. Their bottled wine was cheaper then I found at the winery that makes the wine.
- Andrew (10/5): - Friendly, helpful staff and very good innovative food in the restaurant. Accommodation was quite small but very clean and adequate for a couple of nights. Would not hesitate to stay again.
- Keith (10/5): - Brilliant!
What a cool place to stay. If you are just there for an overnight there is no better location to stay in Gulgong - very clean and comfortable, and you walk straight into the pub, what could be better?
- Grant (10/5): A little luxury after a hot, dusty cycle tour - Clean, modern and comfortable motel style accom. Private courtyard and dedicated parking for motel guests as expected. Only things wanting were a toaster and water pressure less affected by other motel guests during peak periods. Very good experience overall, highlighted by professional and very helpful staff.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The checkin was good and the room was clean and tidy. However very very basic
- Julianne (8/5): Clean but small. - We had a lovely 2 night stay in Gulgong. The rooms were clean, but small and box like. The windows opened onto the car park so we were unable to open the blinds as people could see straight into the room. This meant that the room was small and dark.
The pub was great, and we enjoyed our meal and drinks there. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it would be best just for an overnight stay rather than a longer stay.
- Mr James (10/5): reat pub - Great pub and meal. Room was very good
- Debbie (10/5): - Very nice, nice restaurant and friendly staff.
Hotel room clean.
- Shevaun (10/5): - We had a lovely stay in Gulgong and can highly recommend the Price of Wales Motel. Staff were lovely.
- Jonathon (8/5): - A very cool little motel in Gulgong with friendly staff
- brenton (10/5): - great rooms very clean
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Shower screed door in room 14 doesn’t slide correctly
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We had a little trouble with the door lock and the Hair Dryer only blew cold air. Apart from this it was great, would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was clean and comfortable and centre of town. Close to IGA across the road.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I really liked the quaintness of the accommodation, which appears to have been created out of old, semi-detached buildings at the rear of the hotel, facing onto a central courtyard. All in all, it was a nice effect and felt really cosy and 'at home'.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property was handy to the town centre in fact in the middle of it. Dinner was great mixed grill EXCELLENT.
Having a beer in front of fireplace AWSOME.
The staff were friendly and great to talk to. thank you very much great get away.
Keith
