Even the standard room came with a private balcony, which was a lovely surprise and perfect for enjoying the views. The food was consistently excellent, with generous portions and lots of local flavor. Best of all, it was extremely affordable—honestly felt like luxury at a bargain. Highly recommend! Gerade zurück aus dem Hotel Das Walz – ein echter Geheimtipp! Die Spa-Bereiche waren hervorragend: mehrere Saunen und ein makelloser Pool sorgten für pure Entspannung. Selbst das Standardzimmer hatte einen eigenen Balkon – eine tolle Überraschung und ideal, um die Aussicht zu genießen. Das Essen war durchweg exzellent, mit großzügigen Portionen und viel regionalem Geschmack. Und das Beste: unglaublich günstig für das, was geboten wird. Absolute Empfehlung!

Hunde werden herzlich empfangen, und wurde vom Chef persönlich angeboten einen extra Tisch zu decken falls wir unseren Hund mit zum Frühstück nehmen möchten. Bevor das Buffet abgeräumt wird, werden alle noch anwesenden Gäste gefragt ob man noch etwas möchte oder ob abgeräumt werden kann. Das Personal ist jederzeit freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein großes Lob an alle. Der Wellnessbereich ist ebenfalls sehr sauber und ansprechend eingerichtet. Alles in allem würden wir dieses Hotel jedem empfehlen.

- Christine (10/5): - I truly enjoyed relaxing in the infiniti pool looking at the surrounding mountains. The superb breakfast buffet can be taken on an enclosed garden porch amidst nature. The room was a good size and impeccably clean. There was no AC but opening the window brought in fresh air. I am always surprised that there are no screens on the windows, but luckily no bugs came in. I will certainly stay here again.

Alle waren sehr nett. Auch ein Highlight war die Frühstücksauswahl das Abendessen. Ein Lob an die Küche, es hat alles super lecker geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder! 🙂👍

- Caroline (10/5): - Wir haben 3 tolle Tage im Hotel das Walzl verbracht. Ganz besonders gut aufgefallen haben uns das große Zimmer mit bequemen Betten, das geniale Frühstück und das Schwimmbad. Unser Sohn hat das Kinderspielzimmer und den Spielplatz sehr genossen und wollte nicht mehr nach Hause fahren! Das Essen im Gasthof hat uns allen auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, vielen Dank!

- Caroline (10/5): - Amazing hotel! I cannot say enough good things about this place, but I'll try! A must for those traveling with kids. The playroom and heated pool were both terrific for our 13 month old and made our stay so wonderful since we didn't only have our room to set her loose in. They have high quality highchairs in the restaurant, and the included breakfast was a really nice variety of good quality and tasty food. The receptionists were extremely knowledgeable and helpful (ex: should we buy cable car tickets in advance or at the ticket window, how long should we plan on the Alpenzoo taking). My husband, who wakes up earlier than me and baby, went up to the panorama room lounge and read in peace with a brethtaking view and comfortable chaise lounges, along with a tea bar. Seriously, a must for your vacation- it was well worth the short trip out of Innsbruck!

We were given a welcome card on arrival to give free use on all public transport along with advice on what to see and where to go. Free on-site parking space was great as well. An added bonus was the Innsbruck Welcome Card that was provided to us for free, which allowed us to take the bus and train for free, as well as get discounted tickets on a few attractions. Overall, great hotel. Would recommend!

Neu eingerichtete Zimmer und beeindruckender Roof Top Pool + Wellness Oase zum Relaxen. Essen auch top; nur das Frühstück fällt mit „Standard“ etwas aus dem Rahmen.

The tiny town of Lans is a perfect place to truly escape from the hustle and bustle of life. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was abundant This is s family run hotel, and the staff takes great pride in their hotel.

- Donna (10/5): Best Accommodation Experience Ever - Landgasthof Walzl would have to be one of the very best places we have ever stayed!! Beautiful rooms, wonderful staff and amazing meals (we had the half board option which was incredibly good value). Staff went out of their way to assist with special food when my husband was ill and when we had a problem with damaged luggage. Parking right outside the front door was an unexpected bonus too. I simply can't rate them highly enough!!

- Richard (6/5): Watch your wallet! - Attractive hotel, clean and modern facilities, good restaurant, ample and varied breakfast. However, we ran into a sticky problem. We had prepaid our night thro ugh Expedia. Upon checkout, the pleasant lady at the desk (who spoke very little English) told me they had received no deposit from Expedia. I had little choice but to pay a second time. When I applied for a refund through Expedia, the hotel was uncooperative despite a month of repeated requests. Not a great way to do business.

- Kathryn (10/5): Best place to stay - Early pick up from airport to arrive at hotel able to leave luggage and catch local group in traditional costume just leaving: we walked in the spring sunshine until room was ready at 3pm and wow what a super room with balcony and view of mountains at rear. Our stay was very comfortable we were half board and enjoyed breakfast cooked and fresh fruit options for gluten free and lovely coffee. We went walking all day and the bus and tram service here is very convenient- easy for Innsbruck and Igls if you don’t wish to walk. The food was well presented and dining room by bar very comfortable. Not my taste but I am very vegetabley vegetarian and there was not a lot of these. But it did not marr our stay and we loved our walk in shower hot water and cheerful music, our peaceful bird song on the balcony and our fabulous bed with comfortable pillows. All staff were keen to help and I am only sorry I could not speak their language as well as they could speak mine, Well done and thank you.
