Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room was basic, little dated but acceptable. Small computer monitor sized TV.
- Mark (8/5): - A great place for a quick one night stop over,
Comfy bed...
Cheers!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No record of my booking on arrival. Winton is reknowned for its sulphurous water smell but the copious fragrance in the room to cover up bad smells was choking. Bed was uncomfortable with springs poking through, blinds falling down and the window rattler of an air conditioner, ceiling fan and bathroom exhauzt fan all rattled badly. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and holes in the flyscreen. Dust on shelving. And yet tbis was the 3rd most expensive stay in ojr 5 weeks of travel. Having travelled in 39 countries this place was a shocker .
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was filthy. The bathroom was disgusting. I have photos to demonstrate
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Old property, decor from the 1980`s, Reception staff, is still set from the 1980`s, Room is adequate, but the furnishing is old, OK for one night, Noisy AC/Heater, just above your bed head in the room, everything in the room needs a good refurbishing, to meet 2021 standards...but Internet is very fast...
- David (6/5): Very basic - Winton accommodation is generally very basic, and this place is no exception. It has space, a workable bathroom and reasonable bed, but felt tired and basic. But most of town feels like that.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was the only accommodation available. owner understood we were arriving late and made arrangements to accommodate us.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - the cabins were a reasonable size but dated . Main thing was they had no insulation
- Robin (10/5): Outback Winton - Plenty to visit and see around Winton, good to have a comfy room to come back to at the end of the day
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It smelt a bit of cigarettes but was functional and nice clean sheets
- Kylie-Ann (8/5): Winton for the night - Easy checkin. Room clean and tidy, met our needs with a comfortable bed.
- john (2/5): - Cat hair all over the beds, floor was dirty, fridge mouldy and unkept ... utensils where dirty and stained .... we walked out and paid to stay elsewhere. Will not recommend this place to anyone.
- Susan (8/5): Could be better... - Stayed 3 nights. Had everything needed but bore water a little off-putting. Units in need of some TLC and could be made nicer with a much needed update. Bed comfy and (thankfully) air-con and fan worked well. Pool needed cleaning but was good for a swim.
- Don (8/5): - Older style accommodation, quite comfortable though.
Water in bathroom and sink have hydrogen sulfide odor from Artesian basin water supply which is unpleasant however I would guess this is that same for all properties in town. If you are staying bring your own bottled drinking water.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Older style accommodation but had everything you will need. Clean and comfortable
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The property was old shabby and dusty. Very over- priced
- Ray (8/5): - Suited our needs for a one night stay. Not far from the town .
- Peter (6/5): - Room was Ok for the area. Shower was poor - was looking forward to a decent shower after a long day driving. Limited options for meals in the area
- Peter (8/5): Comfortable Cabin - Older cabin that was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in hot dusty Winton
- John (4/5): Expensive and old - Expensive old and cold in August. Typical outback accommodation poor quality and overpriced
