Marieke (10/5): A relaxing stay in the forest in perfectly appointed accommodation - Location and views were amazing, comfortable and cute cottage. So close to the Balingup town centre but felt so secluded too. Was so extremely relaxing. Everything you need in the kitchen to self cater. and comfortable beds. Shower was good too. The bluetooth speaker didn't work for more than 2 mins at a time, couldn't get the TV to work either. So I would recommend brining your own speaker if you want music. But that were the only things - everything else was perfect!!

Ben (10/5): - The cottage was well separated from the other cottages. The amenities were well appointed with cooking utensils, pots, pans and washing up liquid and drying towels. Everything required was there. There was a good selection of DVDs. The cottages were located amongst the trees on top of a hill overlooking the town of Balingup. a very picturesque setting.

The cabin had everything needed for a comfortable stay . We had sunshine and showers over our stay, but the weather could not spoil this lovely spot. The log fire made it even more magical in the evening . The place was perfect

The cabin was very comfortable and cosy, we especially loved snuggling up by the wood fire and looking out at the spectacular view. The lookout was absolutely spectacular! Watching the sunrise over the misty hills was a highlight. The owners Deb and Brian were so friendly and accomodating, we felt very welcome. We can’t recommend Balingup heights enough and we will definitely be back!

Balingup is a lovely spot in the South of WA and the cottages have a great view over the surrounding countryside. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. Particularly liked the renovated bathroom as it was a good size with a good shower. I imagine that the cottage will also be lovely in the winter when the wood burner is on, it is cold outside and you are relaxing with a nice glass of wine! We met the friendly. owner Brian on the last day and enjoyed a chat with him. Enjoyed our stay in the peace and quiet.
renato (10/5): - Its a Beautiful and tranquil place to just unwind ,relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings . The chalets are excellent, clean ,and have everything you will need to enjoy a wonderful stay . lots to see and do if that's your thing . walking distance to town and local shops .
David (5/5): It was reasonable but I wouldn't do it again. - Nice location with lovely views. Very quiet. Mostly well-equipped cottage. The host was welcoming, pleasant, and very accommodating. Lots of information about what was open and what was closed over the holiday period was provided prior to our visit and this was very helpful. The bed was hard, squeaked, and very uncomfortable. The access from the main road to the cottage was steep, winding, and mostly gravel and dirt. I didn't fancy driving up there after dark. Also, there were cockroaches in the bathroom, which was rather off-putting.

Vanessa (10/5): This place is heaven if you love nature and beauty; serenity and silence - and all the comfort too. - The .location is superb. The cottage I rented was situated on the edge of a very high hill with views over magical farm land and forest for around 230 degrees. I was joined by friendly sheep and horses who allowed me to sit at the lookout and simply gaze in wonder. A short walk away was my cosy cottage with its wood fire and warm bed and all mod cons. Nothing. it was just perfect.
Glen (9/5): Great hosts, cosy accomodation, spectacular views, peace and quiet and relaxing vibes all the way! - Loved the little cabin, 'misty view' overlooking a deep, rolling green valley.All you needed for a comfy, stress free stay was provided. Large, clean windows in lounge and kitchen allowed for a feeling of connection to the spectacular nature outside which, on one morning included a blanket of dense, white fog. Hosts, Deb and Brian were extremely friendly and welcoming...as was the little black dog (name forgotten) who trotted down to my cabin to say hi and wish me a lovely stay. I don't have any strong dislikes but if I had to choose one it would be there was no access to a laundry and Balingup town didn't have one either, however, the caravan park is open to outsiders using their facilities. But don't let this deter you, I had a memorable, rejuvenating time and will be back at some point for sure!

When viewed from the cottage we could see rolling green hills with cattle, kangaroos and emus. Early morning mist gave a ghostly appearance. There was also a lovely boundary walk with a secret garden. The hosts were friendly and helpful as to was their dog which came and visited us a couple of times.

The cottage is extremely comfy , with a lovely fireplace which added more fun for us. The road on the way up to the cottages is a bit steep and narrow. Can be a little challenging during raining days. Other than that we love this place absolutely and might come back some day. :)
