- MING KWAN (2/5): CANCELLED OUR BOOKING AT CHECK IN WITHOUT NOTICE - CANCELLED OUR BOOKING WHEN WE CHECKED IN. WITHOUT ANY PRIOR NOTICE. We arrived at about 3pm to check in but was told that my reservation was cancelled because the hotel was over-booked. We had never received any messages of booking cancelled before check in. We were very desperate as it was the weekend before the bank hoilday and it was difficult to find accommodation with reasonable price. We had to pay extra money to get a place to stay and some pre-booked activities had to be cancelled. What a bad experience!

Our toilet seat was broken but this didn’t hinder usage of the toilet itself and the utilities were well maintained. The property manager was really friendly and provided all the information requested.

- Damian (8/5): Okay - Stayed just the one night, and the place was fine. When arrived there was no one to check in with but one phone call and they were there in less than a minute. The room itself was clean, but just a few things that could make all the difference. The water pressure for the loo is very weak, there's no holder in the shower, there was no hangers at all in the cupboard.

Mould caked around shower, shower only ever a trickle and never gets beyond luke warm, stained linen and carpets with dust and other interesting stuff if you slightly move the furniture.

- Verified traveler (8/5): good to stay with family - It was hottest days when we stayed, and we wanted to use AC, but we found water leakage from AC as it seems drain pipe was not properly arranged. We asked to fix it but it happend again in next day. It was good that it was not so hot after that. Most kitchen tools are arranged and washing machine is equipped. But it does not have dryer function. You can use drying stand.
- anthony (8/5): Oxbridge Stay - Apartment itself was good, with full kitchen. We were provided the suite upon arrival, but unfortunately it was right by the front door. Door would slam shut with loud bang at all hours day and night. There is a large super market across the street, which was extremely convenient. All in all a decent value.
- Cj (6/5): - The master bed on the left felt like it collapsed. The shower head was loose and couldnt be tightened and would turn on its own spraying water everywhere.
- Nigel (8/5): Experience of Oxbridge Apartments - First time we have stayed here and our overall experience was good. The accommodation itself was very good, although the stairs and landing were in need of some work especially the carpets. We would recommend these apartments and would stay again.

It is located in a nice central location with good transport links. The room was clean and well equipped. Check in was quick and easy.

There are several restaurant options in the area to cater for all diet types. Also near the museums in South Kensington and a short walk away from Hyde Park.
- Verified traveler (6/5): You get what you pay for. Upgrade! - NOT as nice as it appears on the website. Carpet was disgusting in the bedroom, dirty with burn marks and who knows what. We had zero water pressure in the shower/toilet. Wifi? Terrible, very touch and go! They kept locking us out of our room as they were confused about how many nights we were there so daily we were locked out. Kitchen lacked basic kitchen stuff, washing up stuff, towels etc... Not a good experience.

- Katherine (6/5): Needs some upgrading - Convenient location, easy to get to central London. The apartment could be with some upgrading as was a little shabby for the price. Rooms are small. We used a travel cot too which could do with being replaced. Bed quite soft so didn’t have the best sleep. It was clean just would have expected a higher quality for the price

- Connie (4/5): Don't book this one - I would not recommend this property. Although in a great location, the apartment did not meet expectations. This is why: the carpet was dirty, walls and ceiling was marked and dirty, ants in the bathroom, the tv in the bedroom did not work nor did the phone in the apartment, and duvet cover had stains. Didn't want to take my shoes off. The front desk was cluttered and looked very chaotic. The plus was the halls were clean and the location was close to many restaurants and attractions.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Meh - Great location. Near 2 tube stations. Plenty of bus options. Near a busy street, but apartment was quiet. Smooth check-in. Nice staff. Living room was nice size. Bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom what you'd expect for London. Bathroom and kitchen had ants. Staff promptly fixed the problem. TV in bedroom didn't work and was not fixed during my stay. Fire alarm in hall went off one morning which made for an interesting wake up. I got a great rate so I tried to go with the flow (minus the ants). I would likely find another place to stay if/when I return to London.
- Katherine (6/5): Well-intentioned hotel but could have been better - The room we stayed in was just refurbished but far from the front desk (several blocks away). The room was decorated nicely but smelled heavily of paint and there was construction in the hallway. We were given one key and never received new towels. We ran out of toilet paper as well. When it did not smell like paint, the room (and our clothes) smelled strongly of whatever the apartment next door was cooking. The television also had very limited channels.The beds were brand new, thus making them extremely hard (I have a bruise on my hip from sleeping on my side). The bathroom door squeaked so badly it woke everyone up and there are two bedrooms with doors.
- Silvana (2/5): Terrible Wi Fi connection - The place don't match the pictures, wi fi connection was awful, one night went totally down, so I had to go out To a pub to be able to continue my work. There was a lot of small ants all over the place. The refrigerator frooze all the fruits and the yogurt that I bought. Something like £30 worth of food lost.

- Renee (6/5): Good location but poor record keeping - The hotel uses a whiteboard in the office to track bookings. They somehow wiped off our 11 night booking, so there was no record when we arrived. After they scrambled about, we were put into a rundown apartment in another building several blocks away. After we complained, they offered us a choice of two apartments the next day in the original building. We liked the location of the hotel and were comfortable in our apartment. The staff were always polite and helpful. Then when we checked out, they said we'd overstayed and wanted payment for another night which we refused to pay. They really need to upgrade their booking system so these mistakes don't happen.

- Katherine (8/5): Great apartment! - Great apartment in great location for my business trip, close to Gloucester Road and Earl's Court tube stations. Comfortable bed with extra pillows, fully functioning air conditioner, nice shower, TV had lots of choice of channels. Could have been a bit cleaner but satisfactory for my needs. I really liked the size of the sitting area, space is not something you get a lot of in London.

- John (10/5): - Good location in west London between Earls Court and Gloucester Road stations on the Piccadilly Line. The apartment is clean and the service is good. It is small; the double bed is against one wall and the bathroom gives you little room to move. But for three days the smallness was worth the price and location.
- christopher (8/5): Heart of London with a Kitchenette - In a city known for tiny overpriced lodgings, this was relatively spacious. There is a loft with a bed, with a 4 foot ceiling - ok for kids, not so great for adults. The apartment felt like a "furnished apartment" as opposed to a hotel room; there were some burn marks on the carpet, and the place could use freshening up. On the other hand, the kitchenette was clean and very usable, and it is a five minute walk from two different tube stops, both of which had plenty of restaurants, pubs and other businesses. Across the main street from the hotel, there is a supermarket, which was very convenient for shopping one or two meals at a time. The hotel/apartment staff were very helpful and friendly.

Only issue was that the TV didnt work and the towel radiator was jammed on which made the bathroom quite hot. Overall amazing value though and highly recommended.
- Catherine (8/5): Good double-bed apartment but no WiFi... - Decent-sized double-room with modern facilities in a good area....but WiFi wouldn't work at all (despite numerous routers and several devices...), which v frustrating as could not work from the apartment as had been planning to... Will give it another go but WiFi needs to work next time...
- Parker (8/5): Good hotel close to Earl's Court - This is a very good option for a no frills room. Can't beat the location as the Earl's Court tube is a 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend for those who are staying for a longer time as it has a well appointed kitchen with all appliances and dishware. Even had a washer/dryer. We (2 people) had a studio which was on the smallish size, but not cramped. Try to request a room not on the first floor, as we could hear people coming and going.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Disappointed! - After checking in at reception, we were told our apartment was a 5 min walk around the corner. The entrance to the apartment was very run down and shabby. It was in a terrible state so first impressions weren't good. It was almost enough to put us completely off. On entering, the hall way was also shabby and obviously under renovation as planks of wood were stacked up along the stairs. The apartment was clean however and the bed was comfortable with nice white bed clothes. The shower was good and the general lay out fine. The kitchen lacked dishcloth/scourer,and there was only a drop of washing up liquid. The dining table was wobbly with legs very unstable. The blinds didn't work, the coffee table was marked and shabby. The bedroom carpet was stained. The sofas were marked. If the owners spent £100 on general home furnishings (nice cushions, pictures, some rugs and a lamp) this would have made a big difference. I would not use these apartments again, nor recommend them, although the price was reasonable, the location good and the staff helpful and pleasant.

When I complained about it the staff told me the Internet is free so why should I complain of in availability. On the day of departure Front desk started calling almost as soon as it was 11am telling us it was time to check out! As we were heading out of the the room a second call came in 10min after. My husband was on crutches yet no offer was made to assist him with the luggage. They have no business being in the hospitality business,
- Verified traveler (10/5): Oxbridge apartments studio stay - Great place to stay with an amazing location taking into account the price! Very clean and modern studio, even though it was very small it had everything we needed. Don't let the outside of this hotel put you off!
- Erin (8/5): Excellent location - These apartments are in a great location - half way between two Tube stations and approx 5 minutes walk to either. Gloucester Rd station is part of the Piccadilly, circle and district line and as such you can get the tube almost everywhere without having to change trains. Lots of restaurants nearby and two supermarkets including Sainsburys. The apartment was well equipped with a full kitchen and washing machine. The condition of the hotel was its let down and the shower seemed a bit mouldy. Otherwise, good value for money.
- emma (10/5): Gem in Ealrs Court - better than most! - Fantastic apartment - great service, opposite sainsburys. Clean, comfortable, better than many of the apartments in the area and good wifi and also has a lift!
