• Marisol (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were in town for a concert. The High Cotton Suite was spacious and tastefully decorated. We had easy access to all of historic downtown Savannah. Forsyth Park is close by, too. Free parking was a plus! The recommendations for dining were amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

• 553TerriH (10/5): Perfect Stay in Savannah - My husband and I stayed at Printmaker's Inn in the Button suite for 4 nights. It was a great stay. The suite was very spacious and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. There is an enclosed courtyard available and we had a porch off our room. Off-street free parking is available. Peter was friendly and helpful with recommendations. The 2 houses are lovely and have very interesting histories. They are very close to Forsyth Park and the DOT trolley line. They are within walking and/or easy driving distance of all of the historic district, restaurants and sights.
• AmyB3778 (10/5): First time in Savannah, lovely stay in the Nichols Suite. - Loved the Printmakers Inn. Right on the edge of the historic district, several blocks from Forsyth Park. Free off-street parking was a plus. The Nichols Suite was beautifully restored - live the high ceilings and wood floors. I slept so well in the bed - the pillows were divine. Pete was always quick to respond - unfortunate we didn't meet him, but maybe next time.

There was bottled water in the mini fridge which is a small thing but was a nice touch. It's away from the busy area but still within walking distance to Forsyth park and the north historic district.

Owner was friendly and helpful, but I booked through the TripAdvisor site, and the messaging didn't work, so we had to call him when we got there - beyond that, stay was good - had expected amenities, was clean and well-maintained for an old house.

• spearbuck (10/5): Wonderful! - This inn is a gem located in the historic district of Savannah. The rooms are huge. The inn is actually two houses separated by just a short walkway opening into a shared courtyard. One house is colonial in style while the other is Victorian The rooms in the Victorian house are suites, some with living rooms, and all with kitchens. All rooms have lovely king beds and very large bathrooms. This inn does not serve breakfast but there are many wonderful options you can walk to. Also, as the rooms have refrigerators, one can easily keep a few items to grab a quick bite in the room. The location of this inn is perfect! Savannah is a very walkable city, and this inn is only a couple of blocks from beautiful Forsythe Park. Also close by are stops for the hop on hop off trolleys. Savannah is a foodie town and there is no shortage of wonderful restaurants here. Many are very walkable from the inn; or, just a really short Uber ride away. Printmakers Inn is a great value. Large clean rooms within two historic homes at a very reasonable rate. Would definitely stay there again.
• Sean (10/5): Best stay in Savannah! - We loved our stay at the Printmaker's Inn! Pete, the owner, was very proactive and had our room ready for a much earlier than expected check-in. He was very informative of everything we needed to know about the property and the city, and the hotel's site he shared had tons of recommendations. Pete made sure to meet us early in our stay and check that everything was up to par. We even got to spend time with his and the family's wonderful dog! The space was very secure, and it felt like taking a step back in time, but with all the modern amenities you could want. The courtyard in back was beautiful and well-maintained, and parking wasn't an issue. The cost is definitely higher than what some nice chain hotels around town might charge, but it is well-worth the few extra dollars to enjoy a more private and truly unique stay in this historic city. Overall, the Printmaker's Inn had all the charm we hoped for in Savannah and then some, and its location is perfect for exploring all that the city has to offer. We can't recommend this place highly enough to friends and family and look forward to staying again whenever we next make it to Savannah!

• Z2696KCjohnt (10/5): Perfect Hosts in the Host City of the South - Everything hs been done as if with the Printmaker’s discipline, planned and designed with care with a preservationist’s sensitivity. Stories abound of how and where each addition was acquired and completed. Pete’s Inn is a gift to the neighborhood and City and we were fortunate to select this convenient venue for discovering Savannah. EV chargers in each of the convenient parking spaces.
• boatm806 (2/5): Did not allow cancellation even though Savannah had declared a state of emergency. - If there are any sort of national emergencies, don't expect Printmaker's Inn to make any exceptions with cancellations. We had reservations for 2 nights in January when the snow storm hit the city and Savannah declared a state of emergency. We were supposed to check in on Friday but the mayor of Savannah had declared the state of emergency to extend until Friday and bridges, airports, etc were closed. We called ahead of time to make sure that it was okay to cancel the reservations since we literally could not get there and we were told yes, that it was okay but it had to be canceled through my credit card company, where I made the reservations. Except when they attempted to cancel, they were told that we wpull not get an refund and we would just lose the $600+ that we had paid for the 2 nights. I assured the credit card company that it was a mistake and gave them the name and contact information of the person that we spoke to and yet the cancellation with refund was denied a second time. We have since tried calling and nobody answers the phone. We've tried leaving messages but have never heard back so at this point, I am assuming that I am out my $600+ and that the Printmaker's Inn is not concerned about helping customers or keeping their word. Make your reservations with caution and hope that a national emergency doesn't happen because they will apparently not care.

• KKDDPP (10/5): 10/10 - An unbelievable stay with an unbelievably architectural history. Truly outstanding design and vibe run by a charming young family. Quiet, relaxing, and within walking distance to everything you’ll want to do. Just two blocks off the park.

The only complaint i have is the poster bed was a bit high for someone who has short legs and had to pull the chair over to climb into the bed. Maybe placing a step stool under the bed might help. • Cecile (10/5): Lovely weekend in Savannah - We spent a lovely Valentine's weekend in Savannah, at the Printmakers Inn. The inn is split between 2 houses, a colonial one, and next door, one from the late 1790s. Our room was in the most recent one. We stayed in the Lt Galloway room, a large, bright, and comfortable room. We really enjoyed the historic feel! Pete, our host, was charming and attentive to our needs. The place itself is very close to Forsyth Park and walking distance from the historic part of town. Savannah is very touristy and we had a difficult time finding restaurants with openings for dinner. If you are planning to eat at a specific restaurant ,especially one recommended online, it is best to reserve before you leave for your trip!

• Fredrick (10/5): Historic inn in Savannah's historic district - This historic property is two blocks west of Forsyth Park in the Victorian neighborhood (historic district south). The street is quiet, and the room and private bath were large and comfortable. Peter is a wonderful host and lives on the property with his wife and two children. He is available whenever you might need him.

• Laurie (8/5): Nice stay. Electronics could be better. - It was an upstairs suite and walking up those steps with luggage was something! Room had everything necessary and was very clean. Wi-Fi was poor with the signal dropping every once in a while. Did have a smart TV but only a few over-the-air channels.
• JESSICA (10/5): Perfect Historic downtown location for a great way - It’s the perfect location in the historic area of Savannah. We stayed here for the women’s marathon. It was easily accessible to walk downtown, we rented bikes from Savannah on wheels, making our city touring even more fun. The place was quiet and clean, the kitchen was a nice surprise with coffee and waters left for us. Pete, the owner was just a text away if we needed anything.

• 262everetts (10/5): Great historic stay! - I just had an wonderful stay this week at the Printmaker's Inn's Hills-Galloway House in their Captain Hills Suite. The space was huge, the historic Colonial Millwork and wide-plank floors were inspirational and the thoughtfulness of Pete (the inn keeper) was great! I'd definitely recommend it as a more authentic Savannah Experience...and in this building's case...with a reminder of New England as well. But being in a charming neighborhood and experiencing the city more as a resident, made it that much more wonderful! Happy Sleeps!

The owner Peter was very responsive and accommodating. Would recommend this for any future brides as well as all of my friends and family. Absolutely beautiful!

The suite was decorated in the period of the house and the bed was most comfortable. Location, for two able seniors, was a little far from the city central to walk on a very warm day. Found it better to use the Trolly Service and hop on and off facility.

• georgeminStA (10/5): Wonderful house with two large bedrooms - This is a great place to stay in Savannah. There are two large bedrooms with huge king-size beds. There is a very nice sitting room and kitchen. The location is quiet and easily accessible to anyplace in town. There is a free bus shuttle that stops very close to the house.

• dianea724 (6/5): Enjoyed the room - My Husband and I enjoyed our time at this Inn but can't give it 5 stars. First it was odd that we never spoke with the owner. Everything was handled by text or on line. Have never rented a place without seeing a person or persons on site. Picture on this page is not the inn, there was not a front porch to sit on nor was there any inside public area to sit and relax or hang out. You only had your room. Wish the room would have had a TV and a microwave. No TV is ok but a no microwave is a negative. I would expect both for the price of the room. On the plus side, the room was very nice. Bed was comfortable, bathroom very roomy, clean and bright. Would have been nice to have hand towels (had bath towels and wash cloths), and definitely needs more hooks to hang your bathrobe and clothes. The room did not have ice, tissues (kleenix) or decaf coffee. With a text to Pete informing him of this we were very happy to see, after our walk, these items were in our room. All in all it was a good experience but could be better, especially for the price.

There was an enclosed private patio with rocker chairs. This suite is located on the second floor back of the Nichols House. As noted in the website description, there are steep stairs up to the suite. You must be able bodied and decently strong to lift your luggage up. We had no issue. The room was fairly quiet and had everything we needed. The house does seem residential neighborhood adjacent. At night we heard people talking outside, playing music, and dogs barking. It always died down after sunset and was not a problem for us. It was not out of hand at all. The Victorian house is beautiful and has character. I loved that. This is not the Marriott and this is not a house that has been so heavily restored that it doesn't match its true age at all. That adds to its charm. Grounds were landscaped nicely. Peter is just a text away should you need anything. We did not take advantage of the onsite parking but it is off the lane right near the "by code only" doors to the property. Convenient. I loved being so close to Forsyth Park. Walking the one mile in the beautiful weather to get to the river area was great. This is a walkable city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
• Matthew (10/5): - A beautiful classic home, well kept and attractively decorated. The dining table looks down on the charming tree-lined street below. It’s a very quiet area, but just a few blocks from Forsyth Park, and ten minutes by foot from nice cafe’s. Pete, the owner, was a very friendly host and made us feel most welcome during our stay in Savannah.
• Jacqueline (10/5): A Real Gem - We were extremely impressed with the building and its authentic historical atmosphere, architecture and decor. The attic room was like stepping in time! We stayed in the Bellingham suite and it was fantastic! The rooms were spotless, modern amenity bathroom seamlessly complimenting the historical look of the property. The courtyard is gorgeous and secure with coded lock gates. Super quick River Street access. Ubers are available with an average of only a 3-5 minutes wait but the downtown area is also well within walking distance. The property owner was very friendly, helpful and quick to respond to messages. This is now out go-to place whenever we return to Savannah. We really loved it.
• 914SS (10/5): Charming Savannah Inn - We found this little inn on the internet. We wanted to stay within the historic district and yet away from the tourist district. This was the perfect location. Charming house and gardens. Secure parking. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Peter was responsive to all questions and requests. This was the perfect location to enjoy Forsythe Park and many of the other sights. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.
• LUGA27 (10/5): Felt like our own beautiful little Savannah home for a few days. - BEAUTIFUL and spacious room with wonderful Savannah charm! We stayed in the Henry Suite (first floor rear of Nichols House). The pictures do not do the room justice, it is lovely. The bed was very comfortable and we feel so at home yet pampered in the space. Convenient parking in rear is definitely a plus. Henry Suite has a kitchen, I only brewed tea: nice to have an actual electric kettle to brew. We left the car parked at the Inn and had a lovely walk through the city going to attractions and looking at the lovely architecture. We took an Uber back in the dark after a ghost tour to give our ankles a rest and not risk tripping on uneven brick. Inn included lists of recommended eateries upon check in and a basket of attraction pamphlets in the room.
• sleinadcm (10/5): Thank you Savannah - First let me say that Peter and staff were amazing in kindness and communication. Such a patient and helpful young Proprietor Peter is and we had only to ask and he was there for any questions. For us this makes the stay anywhere more beautiful. The Inn room we enjoyed was the Button Suite and was very pleasant. Our beds were well made-up with comforting linens and mattresses were extremely comfortable. The suite was extremely clean and the kitchenette was quite convenient. The location was ideal and it made us truly feel like a part of Savannah.
• A3607ZLjanec (10/5): Beautiful home in a perfect location - Our suite at the Inn was spacious and comfortable, and the location close to beautiful Forsyth Park made it easy to walk to nearly everywhere we wanted to go. The Innkeeper was prompt and helpful responding to any questions. We really enjoyed our first trip to Savannah and look forward to staying at the Printmaker’s Inn again.

• Michael (10/5): - Printmaker's Inn is just a few blocks from Forsyth Park making it perfect for a quiet night's sleep and an early morning run or coffee run (the room does offer coffee). It was truly peaceful here and in such a great location to get to downtown, Starland, and a short Uber ride near anywhere else. What must be discussed is the gorgeous, detailed work these owners have put into restoring these buildings. I stayed in the Bellingham Suite chosen for its paint, woodwork, and light. If you love natural light and not-so-dark rooms, this is perfect for you too. The bed was comfortable and the room was well appointed with just enough storage and stylish touches to let one's own imagination roam. I can't wait until I can return and try out other rooms as I continue to touch down on Savannah.
• caseyc309 (8/5): Button suite for a family with young kids - We originally reserved the High Cotton Suite for a 1 week stay with 2 adults and 2 young children (3.5 yrs and 5 months). We were warned there was a steep staircase to bring our items up- but it wasnt clear at that time the staircase was in the middle of the unit. So we and the toddler had to walk by it to get between the bedroom and living room, which was pretty nerve wracking. Thankfully, the owner Peter switched us to the downstairs Button Suite when it became available. With 2 distinct bedrooms and a full kitchen, this was overall a better fit for us. The units had thermostats and air conditioning, were appointed with lovely furnishings, and were very clean. Some things are different as youd expect with an older home modified to suit modern hotelling- small bathroom shower, not a surplus of electrical outlets. Sound machines were provided at the Button Suite and were needed due to some street noise. There is offstreet parking, dishes and coffee in the kitchen, Roku on the tv. There was not towel service or savannah bee toiletry products. Overall we had a great stay and loved feeling like a part of the history of Savannah.

• NATALIE JANINE (8/5): - Overall we really enjoyed the inn and the neighbourhood away from the main touristy strips. The room was clean and aesthetic while the buildings themselves have been beautifully renovated.The area was very quiet and we never saw anyone else on the property. The parking was very convenient and simple to find. We were missing some of the complimentary drinks but were fine without. The only thing that left us feeling a little 'meh' was that we were not placed in our booked room apparently due to a broken air conditioner. Instead we were put in a smaller, slightly cheaper room. We were offered to 'check out' our original room by 6pm the next day but at that point it was more of a hassle to switch and it was very late in the evening by the time we were back. It's understandable that those things happen but we weren't refunded the difference or offered anything to compensate. Even though it was a small amount it would have been a nice gesture.

• Ena-Mary (10/5): - Omg! I absolutely LOVE this property! The building we stayed in was an historic Connecticut farmhouse that was brought to Savannah & is the oldest in the city. Our room had beautiful antique-looking furniture, balcony, patio, outdoor seating, attic access. The area is so walkable you can get to Forsyth Park & off to sightseeing. Uber availability is round the clock for when the humidity gets to you. 10/10 no notes; I'm definitely staying here upon a Savannah return if there's availability.

• Atko73 (10/5): A beautiful home in stunning Savannah - We loved our stay in the Button Suite at Printmakers Inn. Lots of space, beautifully furnished, comfy beds and easily accomodated our group (three adults and two kids). Forsyth Park is a couple of minutes away - great for an early morning stroll, for kids to play and the start of your walk into Savannah's historic district. The host provided loads of recommendations for bars and restaurants and was extremely responsive to all queries (incluidng a great roecmmendation for a local urgent care centre). The kitchen is fairly well equipped - with things like oil, salt and pepper in the cupbard as well as coffee for the coffee maker. A couple of other bits and pieces (a mixing bowl, a wooden spoon) would be great, but these are minor things. The front porch looks out onto a fairly busy road - and people walking, cycling and driving by day and night - so it is not secluded but we felt it helped us feel part of the city for a few days. On a visit to such a charcterful town, we felt very lucky to stay in such an atmospheric and ornate home. Highly recommend.

And the host, Peter, was so easy to get hold of for little minor things. I will stay here again if I'm ever back in Savannah.

Though we were out and about most of the time, we missed being able to check local weather etc. It would be nice to have ice available. The little fridge in the room is handy but does not the capacity for ice.

• Donna W (6/5): - The bed was a queen instead of the king size listed in the description but it was very comfortable. The location is excellent and was very easy to find. The property despite being close to the street was very quiet. There was a fence and wall around the property and security was excellent. The bathroom was first rate. There was some bad things as well. The Expedia listing said there was a TV with 200 channels; however, there was no TV at all in the room. The room was very large with 2 rooms but the sitting area only had 1 small sofa that was very uncomfortable. There were a couple of straight chairs that were also uncomfortable. I am not sure this room had been completed actually. It was apparently decorated to reflect the Victorian Era but was far from a finished product. There were some good things about this property but overall, it was a disappointment.
• Jessica (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay in the high cotton sweet! The stairs are steep going up to it, but once up it’s beautifully decorated and feels so homey! The kitchenette was perfect for us. There was coffee and water bottles available. The sun room was a highlight. To be honest we didn’t do much besides sleep there because there is so much to do in Savannah! We walked almost everywhere. River district is about a 25 min walk. There is also a public trolley that is free and runs until 6 pm. Would definitely consider staying here again when we return to Savannah!
• Tara (10/5): A Gem by Forsyth Park - My boyfriend and I loved our stay! There are two homes on the property one of which is the one we stayed in called Hills-Galloway house which has an amazing history. It was originally located in New England and moved to its current location where it’s been renovated. We stayed in the bellingham parlor chamber suite and it was lovely. The room was so clean, the bathroom was beautiful and new, the bed was so comfortable. The room had a few antique pieces which added to the charm. There was complimentary parking right behind the house which was so nice since we were able to walk everywhere and didn’t need to use it. The hotel is just 2 blocks from the beautiful Forsyth park and just a 10-15 minute walk to the main historic area. We loved the location. After going to the more touristy area near the riverwalk, we were happy to be a little outside of the main center. We got a more local vibe and still felt close to everything. Pete the owner was so communicative and helpful. He’s done an amazing job with the renovations. This hotel is really a hidden gem and we would highly recommend it to anyone going to Savannah.

The off street parking was great and the locked courtyard entrance was secure. Pete was very responsive and had amazing recommendations!

Short walk to magnificent Forsyth Park. Will definitely try stay at Printmaker’s Inn if ever back in Savannah.

• EMILY (4/5): - Accommodation nowhere close to the historic district and in a rather unsafe area. Our last night there, there were police cars up and down the street dealing with an incident. We had to enter our suite through the back alleyway. There were no toiletries provided, and I had to ask our host for the tea and wine the website indicated was included. One morning, I found a cockroach in the kitchen. Overall, the property is tired and in need of some restoration. If you’re looking for a historic and comfortable experience, look elsewhere!

• Zhaohui (10/5): - This property located near Savannah historic downtown is an absolute charm! The owners intentionally preserved the historic aspects of the property, furniture and facade. We had a wonderful, relaxing time there and did a lot of walking in downtown Savannah. The owner also recommended a list of nice restaurants. We tried the Flock the Wok, it was authentic, tasty and not pricy.

It was about a mile to the downtown area, but the walk was not bad as there were things to see along the way looking at the old buildings, shops, and squares. It was actually nice to be a little outside the noise of town for a quieter visit.
