Guest Reviews
- TESS (2/5): - Great hotel if you want something very basic.
It was clean enough, shower was ok, didn’t see any of the staff.
Note stairs to the rooms so be prepared to carry your bag up a large flight of stairs.
- Paul (6/5): Solo Motorbike Trip - I booked this 30 mins before arriving as on a motorbike and was raining - got a high rating on Hotels.com, is basically a door in a street with rooms above sone shops and a cafe, ok for a one night quick room - room and bed was very nice just didn't feel this was value for money - few amenities, no breakfast - came down at 7.30 to leave and nobody around to take the key.
- Tomasz (10/5): - Stayed here for a short time on our way to Koh Phangan, the room was spacious and very clean, had everything we needed.
- Brahim (10/5): - Hervorragend
- Brian (2/5): Not impressed - Contacted hotel to advise we were arriving into Surat thani on the night bus at 6am. I asked if we could check in early or even pay for a room for the previous night. Or at least leave our luggage. But they didn't even have the decency to reply. So we turned up at the hotel at 6.30am to see if we could leave bags but place was deserted. So after travelling for 42 hours we went to another hotel. Very poor communication from little PP hotel
- David (10/5): Sweet Spot - Nice little hotel in a quiet section of Surathani. Very clean and modern. Its a bit easy to miss at first glance.
The Saturday night market is an easy 1-1/2k walk.
I would stay again and I would recommend this hotel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Good location close to many restaurants and night market. Room is clean and good air condition. But no on-site parking you have to park on public road in front of the hotel which is limit area and not safe.
- Dan (10/5): Perfect for exploring Surat Thani town - Lovely hotel with big clean rooms and a fab on site cafe. We chose to explore Surat Thani town for the night and really glad we did. Great stop off and the hotel was perfectly located.
- Matthew (10/5): American Couple - The owner was super helpful and got us all checked in, even late at night. The area of town is a little scary but the inside is amazing. We loved the room. Very clean too. We went to the airport the next day, it was about 30 minutes from there.
- Thomas (10/5): Lovely place to stay if you are travelling through - We stayed overnight before an early flight. The hotel was perfect and very well priced.
- Ian (8/5): - Simple clean hotel with friendly staff. Conveniently placed for the ferry.
- Robert (10/5): A little Gem - We stayed here on our way to Koh Samui, chosen because of good reviews but also it's proximity to the Seatran bus terminal (10 minutes walk or 5 minute Tuk Tuk).
Tree, the manager was out to meet us almost before we exited the taxi, and was most helpful with luggage and checkin.
he also had good information about where to eat.
The hotel and room was very clean and tidy. The room very comfortable.
We had breakfast in the attached cafe (The Blue Sheep) cooked by Tree and it was delicious.
Well worth the visit and excellent value for money
- Cassandra (10/5): Little P P sound strange.. but it was a gem - Was in an area where the locals sell their wears in stores.
We were dead tired, having concluded a 12 hour train ride to get to Surat Thani .. 2 am or so
The lovely fellow left us a note .. and after calling, he readily let us in.
The room was beautiful, cement built ins . Comfy bed .. I was amazed. From the street you would never know, you were staying in such a well taken care of modern design room.
- Cassandra (10/5): Let’s stay longer .. - We planned on staying one night .. liked the hotel and area .. stayed for another two !
- Victoria (10/5): Clean, functional, comfortable - We stayed one night in transit to Koh Samui and arrived to a sparkling clean room, fast WiFi, AC and water heater in good working order. The staff were helpful getting us to the ferry office in the morning.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable, immaculate, helpful friendly stafg - Stayed one night on the way to Koh Samui. Wont find a better deal for the price. Small boutique hotel. On site cafe with good food. Breakfast and cappucino was great. Good wifi. Def woukd stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean, modern, well-located, amazing staff - Had a one night layover and this place was perfect. Comfortable, clean and very nice modern vibe with all the polished poured concrete. 10 minute walk to night market. Refrigerators on each floor to store purchases and have fresh fruit in morning. Great coffee shop/cafe downstairs. Staff was amazingly helpful.
- James (10/5): clean and well designed - This small hotel is new and has a unique design, trendy furniture, and comfortable and clean rooms. There's an espresso cafe on the first floor that serves a huge breakfast that's good to have before your boat trip to Samui.
- Yvonne (10/5): Excellent one night stay! - Just a night's stay at Surat Thani where we swing by before or flight back home.
Hotel is a small little block where the lobby is a hipster cafe. The same cashier takes care of the whole hotel and cafe. He is very helpful as he speaks fairly good English as compared to the rest of them. If you're the boss and you're reading this, you are lucky to have a staff like him!!
Room is neat and comfortable - very good value for the room, which is only about... USD35 per night?
A few downsides - no fridge in the room which is fine as there is a communal fridge outisde, water running a bit slow and lack of hot water, no lift (this is important for people who needs the lift, it's just staircase). Stairs is perfectly fine for us as we have only two small cabin bags.
