Guest Reviews
- Klaharn (1/5): RUN - No breakfast provided. Aging accommodation.
- Miriam97 (8/5): - You get what you pay for in this hotel. I believe they generally cater to local tourists as all of the other guests were Thai. The place was clean. The area is very interesting to walk in. It’s a nice and quiet area. Bed was very uncomfortable- springs in your back the whole night. Many mosquitoes. Also very far from town but we didn’t mind that part.

- Chaveewan (8/5): Lovely staff, owner even come say hi to us, dogs is not a problem for us and I love environment which quiet and surround - It’s not far from city or any places that I want to do some errands during my stay.
I traveled with 2 dogs and cats and there’s plenty of space to walk though they already have dogs
Room is great, big clean and green and close to nature and river.
The owner grown vegetable and you can have it if you want to cook your own food too
- Moses (8/5): Clean, well-maintained and professional - Near a beautiful temple, very friendly dogs and a welcoming staff. We found the rooms very clean and the location easy to find for our food delivery driver 🙏
- Thanwadee (7/5): Good -
- Kathryn (4/5): Unhealthy - There was a significant patch of mold on the wall of the bedroom.
- Magnuson (9/5): Worth the 700 baht - Good place to stay if you want to be a bit away from the city. Nice jungle vibes. The shower can be burning hot so that’s good.
- Hannah (9/5): Very comfortable lovely stay. - Super friendly staff! Couldn’t speak a lot english but was so helpful, we communicated via translator which worked really well. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Felt really good. You need to be aware that the hotel is a bit off the grid, need for scooter/taxi to get to restaurants and cafés.
- Alex (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (7/5): The room despite being a little basic was clean, large and quite ok - I don't believe breakfast was included or even available? The location was not great but partly due to road works, the grounds needed a very extensive tidy up!
- Nichapat (7/5): Good -
- Forster (4/5): Very disappointing - The staff This is a truck stop for Thai delivery vans overnight stays
- Travelinthesun (8/5): Quiet place for stopover - Huge room, nice view outside the window into the green garden, clean, very quiet for a good sleep, very friendly lady, one cute and well-behaved dog, good price. No food at the hotel, but only 5 min by motorbike to Lotus's with Thai food court, pizza, Dunkin' Donuts
- W'warin (2/5): Very poor -
- Syaffiza (6/5): Pleasant - A lot of dog at parking area
- VATCHARIN (10/5): แนะนำให้เข้าพัก - ห้องพักสะอาดกว้างขว้าง

- Vacationer611139 (2/5): Absolute Disaster - if you love yourself do not stay here! - My boyfriend and I stayed here at the beginning of July as we were planning to return to Koh Samui- one of our favourite
places in Thailand!
After arriving in a taxi from the airport (which was pricey) we finally found the hotel, despite the fact that it was so out of the way that the taxi driver had to call someone for directions, which is immediately a bit disconcerting.
When we got to the reception we had to wait 20 minutes before anyone came to check us in, and when they finally did, they didn't say a word to us and shoved keys into our hands. We asked where the nearest shop was or if we could rent a moped and both questions were met with a dirty look and then completely ignored.
Fed up and hungry, and with no way of getting a taxi we decided to try and walk to the nearest shop, even though google maps said it would be a 45 MIN WALK! To make it worse, it was a really dangerous road and a few people stopped and offered us lifts because they knew how far civilisation was. We finally decided to hitch hike on the back of a pick up truck (risky but we had no choice) and it was a 25 min drive to the nearest 7/11! We tried to find a place in the area to book a boat transfer to koh Samui, which proved to be impossible as there were absolutely no tour operators in sight, so we had to hail a tuk-tuk after around an hour of waiting for one in the intense heat in a dodgy area! Hated the area so much that when we finally got the the centre which took an hour, we booked another hotel for the night as we couldn't bare to stay in the middle of nowhere with rude staff. Got a tuk tuk all the way back to 'Be Fine' and asked him to wait while we grabbed our stuff but as we tried to leave a lady who worked there chased after us and harassed us by telling us we hadn't paid when we obviously had as we'd booked on Expedia. She didn't understand us, and wasn't even aware of her guests and how they had booked- disgraceful for someone who claims to be a figure of authority in an establishment like that.
All in all a horrific experience. Do not stay- rude staff and terrible location!
- 252peteg (2/5): PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T STAY HERE - Me and my girlfriend are travelling SE Asia and we really enjoyed Koh Samui so we wanted to come back.
We booked this place not knowing very much about it so here is our story of our stay.
We pulled up in quite an expensive taxi from the airport as it's so far away from anything and got greeted to an empty reception so we waited about 15 minutes before anyone even knew we were there and then we got our keys pushed into our hands with not a word spoken to say sorry for the wait. We asked if we could rent a moped or where the shops were and we were greeted by rude responses.
We then got into our ant infested room thinking it can't be all that bad right? We wanted to walk to a shop to get food but the walk is on roads so you can't walk anywhere from this hotel plus you can't drive as you don't have a car/bike?
We tried to hitch hike to somewhere with any people and it was about a 15 min drive to anywhere with anything. We were so annoyed by this point by the staff and the room and the location that we hailed a tuktuk and got our stuff and tried to leave the same day but that's when the next thing happened.
We got told by the receptionist that seen us pull up in a tuk tuk that we didn't pay for the room and we had to prove that we had paid! (this is all while we had a tuk tuk who was getting annoyed at waiting and even he was getting angry at her) we proved we had payed and said the reasons why we were leaving but we got a rude response, by this time we had enough and booked a really nice place in the centre called MY PLACE HOTEL
Stay there if you don't want to be mugged off by this joke of a hotel.
- konstantinos (6/5): - Ξενοδοχειο στο πουθενα
- K7820RHemmac (8/5): Beautiful location! - I loved staying here and Would definitely go back. Here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
- SO peaceful and quiet. No traffic noise and thick walls so no noise from neighbours.
- light- filled rooms with large windows looking out onto a very big garden or the river
- helpful staff, although little english spoken
- clean rooms, very comfortable mattress, clean bathroom
- fridge in room
- restaurant location lovely and good, fairly cheap food. Western breakfast, the rest very Thai.
Cons:
- is located about 3kms south of the bus station and Lomprayah office, but is hard to find. Bring the phone number with you so your taxi driver can call the hotel and get directions. Make sure taxi uses the metre, should cost around 50 to bus station and 200 to airport.
- I organized a pickup with the hotel, and they seemed to understand me but obviously didn't, because no-one was at the station to pick me up.
- VERY little English spoken. Google translate is your friend!!
- wifi outside my room but not inside
- loud music in restaurant sometimes (I just asked them to turn it down).
Overall, this was excellent value for money.
- hollietripgal (10/5): Very nice, clean hotel on river. - The hotel is out of the way, but location is very nice. Third floor rooms over look the river and mountains. Rooms are new and shower is very nice.
Restaurant has deck over looking river and the food was good. The people running it don't speak a lot of English, but was able to communicate enough to somewhat get what we needed.
They picked us up at airport for 200 bahts which I recommend for talking to other travelers most taxi could not find the place and charged a lot more. It does seem that they are working on the grounds with more landscaping and river front bungalows, when it's done it will be very nice. It is a great place to transition and relax before ferry, but don't expect a lot of party action. The price is fabulous for what you get and though a lot gets lost in translation they did try to give their best service.
- Twobays4160 (8/5): Large clean room great transit hotel - For a cheap quiet hotel was a great find even though it is really hard to find. We had had a long days drive & this was just what we needed prior to getting our ferry the next day.
The deck over the river is nice & in typical Thai style. My Pad Thai was lovely, my husband got the American set breakfast which was a bit small.
The hotel gardens are more like a plant nursery & market garden which adds to the quirkyness. There is nothing else other than small village & a large temple being built which might be the reason this large out of place hotel as built here.
