Frühstück für die Hotelkategorie unerwartet gut…Kaffees, Tees, Eier, Aufschnitt, Käse, Süße Aufstriche , Säfte , diverse Brotsorten… alles in guter Qualität, frisches Obst und Müsli..

Die Zimmer selbst waren jedoch recht klein, etwas abgewohnt und hätten sauberer sein können. Die Betten waren gemütlich und wir haben gut geschlafen. Das Frühstück entsprach dem üblichen IBIS-Budget-Standard, war aber ausreichend. Insgesamt ein solider Aufenthalt mit kleineren Schwächen.

Une douche et un mini lavabo a côté du lit sans séparation ni rideau pour l'intimité. C'est une chambre Formule 1. On ne s'attendait pas a ça sinon nous aurions pris une chambre F1 à 41€. Nous avons pu annuler la 2eme nuit avec accord du manager. Nous avions choisi cet hôtel car il affichait hôtel rénové !

• Ralf (4/5): - Die Zimmern sind extrem kompakt. Wenig Platz, WC musste rückwärts begangen werden da so wenig Platz ist. Dusche sehr klein und das Wasser war lauwarm. Waschbecken im Zimmer. Keine Möglichkeit Kleidung aufzuhängen. Leider habe ich mich hier sehr stark erkältet und Fieber bekommen. Daher mussten wir die Reise abbrechen. Es war nachts kalt im Zimmer

O chão do quarto grudento provavelmente não foi limpo antes de entrarmos. Pontos positivos:Café da manhã de boa qualidade,estacionamento ao preço de €10 a diária e funcionários super atenciosos. Realmente o que faltou foi mais higiene no quarto

Black out blind was good but when it was up or window open not much privacy from onlookers Where was the plug for sink, not very eco friendly if running water to have a wash.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good value stay. - This hotel was in a good spot for exploring Colmar. There was adequate parking in underground carpark. Staff were lovely. Its a budget hotel so it was a small room that was quite cramped. However the bed was comfy and the water hot. The breakfast option great. It was in walking distance from all we wanted and a short drive to beautiful surrounding villages. A great economical stay that we would use again.

Frühstücksbuffet : discounter-Qualität Insgesamt aber gut ! Zentral gelegen und auch ausreichend Platz in der Garage und auf dem Hof zum Parken. Toilette und Dusche getrennt muss man mögen ... Für mich war das nichts...
• corey (6/5): - I stayed at this hotel 2 nights. It was quiet and about a 10-minute walk to the main area. It’s a decent price for a basic room, but the hotel needs some updating and better toilet paper- it was like sand paper! Otherwise fine stay.
• Isabelle (8/5): - Overall it's a fair experience, the hotel is well located and pretty much everything in the city centre is easily accessible on foot, including the railway station (about 10-12 minutes with my luggage). Plus the hotel is also a few minutes on foot too from the Theatre Central bus station, where you can hop on all the main lines, and there are supermarkets within a few minutes' walk too (including the large Intermarché) . The room was really small, so I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay or if you need to work on a laptop (there was a small table in the room, not a desk), but for holidays/just having breakfast and spending the night, it's totally fine. The personnel at the reception desk was friendly, you can sign up for breakfast and get some pizza for lunch or dinner. As for room cleaning, just remember that it's an "opt in" service (you have to let them know each day if you want your room cleaned, towels changed etc) and then that is fine too. It's a 2* hotel and of course you cN tell, but all in all I will very likely go back the next time I need to stay in Colmar on a tighter budget.

• Maria (8/5): - The distance wasn't too far from the station but we forgot about the uneven surfaces making hauling our luggage va but tricky plus some footpaths are too tight because of road improvements, closures, etc. We managed, part of the adventure. Colmar is charming and chilled,very we're pleasantly surprised, we enjoyed our stay here even for a short time. We wished we had stayed longer. The only negative vwas the low areas in the room, my hub bumped his head a few times!

Le garage soit en sous-sol ou à l’étage est un vrai plus, certes payant mais moins chère que la ville et au moins la voiture ou la moto sont protégées. Chambre petite mais fonctionnelle. Manque juste une petite bouilloire et quelques sachets de thé ou café offert et ça serait top.

• Eduardo j (6/5): Issue with receptionist - Terrible Experience with Receptionist at Ibis Colmar We had an awful experience during our stay at Ibis Colmar, and we feel compelled to share it. Upon checking in, the receptionist could not find our 3-night reservation in her system, even though we had our receipt and booking confirmation on the Hotels.com app. Instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally, she became incredibly rude and aggressive, even threatening to call the police. It was an extremely stressful and uncomfortable situation. After much unnecessary back-and-forth, it turned out the issue was a problem with the Ibis system, not our booking. However, instead of helping us through it, the receptionist treated us terribly, wasted our time, and left us with a very negative impression of the hotel. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially when we were simply trying to enjoy our time in Colmar. We hope Hotels.com takes this into consideration to prevent future guests from facing similar issues. This review is honest and to the point while outlining your dissatisfaction with the situation.
• Frida (6/5): Centralt & fräscht - Kändes som att bo i en båthytt även om vi blev uppgraderade. Helt okej med tanke på priset. Blev debiterad för rummet trots att jag hade förbetalt, så har fått lägga mycket tid på att få tilllbaka pengarna.
• Maria (10/5): Second time and coming again - It’s close to the centre. In the room we have everything we need. They offer drinking water and free pastries ( leftover from breakfast). The staff is friendly. Everything is sparkling clean. I don’t understand the low rate at all.

My room being right outside the elevator and against the street was very noisy. I slept with ear plugs. I think the price is a bit expensive for what it is.

Just a few minutes walk to the historical centre and secure parking for our car at the hotel. It’s an Ibis Budget so the rooms are basic but clean and completely sufficient for an overnight stay in the city centre.

• David (6/5): - The shower was very difficult to use for me. The water shot across the shower and I was unable to make the shower head stream in a usable direction. It was a hand held shower head. So I held it in my hand while trying to use liquid soap with the other one. The soap was watery - but smelled good. I guess I needed to carry a washcloth and a bar of soap. The location to downtown colmar is excellent. It was worth what we paid for but the room was very small. It was comfortable enough.

• Peter (8/5): Ideal for a short break - Situated approximately ten minutes from the picturesque old city of Colmar, getting to the hotel is relatively easy. If you are flying in from Basel I recommend you book a Flix bus in advance to take you to Colmar rail station. It doesn’t cost much and only takes an hour. From there you can either walk to the hotel, which will take around twenty five minutes or alternatively look out for one of the small free electric buses that frequently turn up at the station and get off at rue Stanislas. From there it’s just a five minute walk. We found the staff at the Ibis to be friendly and helpful. We decided against the breakfast option. While it did look pretty good we chose to eat around town instead. Although our room was small it was very clean and complete with an on- suite shower/toilet and a wall mounted television. We thought the mattress was a bit too hard but as we were only on a weekend break it was just about bearable. Access to the room was via a numbered key pad on the door. If you arrive early the reception will securely store your bags for you, so you can have a quick look around the town and the check in at the required time later, which is 3pm onwards. We think for a short break the Ibis Central Ville represents good value for money and would be happy to stay there again should we ever return to Colmar.

• Maria (10/5): Best location and service - The location of the hotel is perfect. It’s 15 minutes walk from the train station and 5-6 minutes walk to bus stops for local buses. Also very close to all attractions. It’s very well managed. Everyone was very polite and helpful. Joanna and Emma were super helpful with their advices at the reception. Croissants couldn’t be more fresh as they just come from the oven. Thank you for making my holiday enjoyable. I come here next time as well.
