• Laura (8/5): - Location was very close to train station and 7-11. Lots of conveniences available like umbrellas, laundry detergent and drying rack, lots of towels, etc. Very quiet and clean. The beds weren't the most comfortable, I could feel the springs in mine. But they weren't bad.

Close to the train station and to the beautiful Tofuku-ji Temple- our favourite moments in Kyoto were in Tofukuji We enjoyed having our own apartment, small balcony, umbrellas to borrow when needed. También te dejan todo lo necesario para comer en la habitación y hay microondas en el pasillo. La ubicación es en una calle residencial muy tranquila y cerca del metro y el bus. No estaba muy limpio... Había manchas en los sofás, en el suelo, en la terraza... El baño estaba como dentro de una plataforma de plástico y es bastante viejo. Nos esperábamos más al tener una puntuación tan alta en las valoraciones.

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Bathtub in the shower room was nice and deep. The only thing I would change is that I wish there were more towels and of better quality. Otherwise everything during our stay was great.

• Nicole (10/5): - Tolle Unterkunft mit allem was man so braucht! •Check-in verlief schnell & reibungslos über ein Tablet zusammen mit dem Besitzer. •Keine Karte nötig, am Eingang als auch zum Zimmer Zugang per Zahlencode. •In der "Lobby"/Eingang hängen Fahrradschlösser, um sein Gepäck abzusperren, falls man vor der Check-in Zeit am Hotel ist. •Kleine Kommode mit Geschirr und Besteck zur freien Verwendung (sogar für Kleinkinder). Snackautomat, aus dem man, wenn nötig auch Wertkarten für frische Handtücher rauslassen kann (umgerechnet ca. 1€). •Hinter dem Eingang nochmal ein Regal mit Dingen für den alltäglichen Gebrauch, die zu freien Verfügung stehen (Töpfe, Pfannen, Tee, Kaffee,Handseife, Waschpulver, Bügeleisen, Steckdosenadapter). • Miguel (9/5): Comfortable, convenient, and peaceful – a perfect base for exploring Kyoto - We had a wonderful stay at Kyoto Tabisou Kasumi, located in a peaceful neighborhood. It’s close to a few restaurants, a convenience store, and a metro station. Additionally, we were conveniently near a temple and several dining options, with also a train station just a short walk away for easy access to the rest of the city, making it the perfect base for our entire stay in Kyoto The accommodation had everything we needed for an even longer stay, including a small kitchen, a washing machine, and a small balcony. The beds were very comfortable, and the staff was incredibly responsive when we encountered a minor issue, resolving it quickly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Kyoto!

Under the beds & furniture was very dusty, with a used towel & dirty tissue behind the bed. The kitchenware is all shared, there is plenty but you have to get it from the communal area.

• Sven (8/5): "Close to"-hotel - We choose an apartment hotel because of the better size - (and freedom). And because this hotel is close to railway station, Gion and Fushimi Inari. The lokal station is on the Nara line. Oddly some of the utensils were to fetch at the reception (but not locked up).

• Aiza (8/5): Amazing! 🤩 - I love that it's so nearby JR Tokufuji station (270m). If you have JR West pass, you can just use this JR line instead of ICOCA. The place is spacious, cozy and that it can fit three beds and my crazy amount of luggage hahah and that it has a washing machine to wash ma clothes and a place to dry/hang ma clothes. I also like that it's a keyless door entry coz I hate using keys to enter a room simply coz it's annoying to carry keys. Also, the person who handles the reception desk, he messages rather promptly, via the Booking.com app. Overall, really good! Totally worth revisiting. I miss Kyoto already! The bed didn't look that clean coz I did see some indelible looking stains 🙈

Room was spacious. The roads towards the place isn’t paved and is narrow and right beside the road so pulling your luggage kinda sucks a little. Even though washing machine was provided, the only hanging area is on the balcony with laundry poles provided but they really weren’t the cleanest. Would have been great if it came with a laundry rack inside instead.

• Mohanad (7/5): Its clean and has a small stove and washing machine - I liked that the room was very clean which made me feel comfortable the whole time Check in is at 3:00 pm but we arrived at 2:00 pm and no staff was at the facility as it is operated by central keypad gate which leads you to the corridor and the elevator and the rooms with everyone of them has its own keypad and lock. So when we arrived we didn’t know what to do and i was about to cancel my reservation but i found a notice on the front desk to email the staff for any questions or details so i emailed them and 5 min later they send me the main keypad lock number and my room keypad number.
• Kay (8/5): - 房間乾淨，自己房間就有洗衣機跟廚房可以使用，非常方便，洗衣精跟餐具放在房間外自行取用，用完洗乾淨再放回去就好，個人覺得這是一個有效率的做法。垃圾分類雖然我也猶豫了一下，但是目前我遇過自己分類最簡單的一間了（希望我沒有造成民宿的困擾@@） 東福站有京阪跟jr線，要安排奈良跟宇治稻荷方面景點非常適合，車站到民宿路途中還有一個路口可以看到漂亮的京都塔 之後會再考慮回訪

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great location and clean rooms - Great location, just 5mins away from train station. Room is clean and tidy. Beds are comfortable. Every room has a washing machine with laundry pods provided which is very convenient for travellers.
• Geraldyne (8/5): Very good - The room was very big for a standard Japanese hotel room, and it had even a washing machine easy to use, and they even provide free laundry detergent for all the guests. The room have a small kitchen, and they also provide kitchen utensils, plates, etc.. The hotel is well connected through the Tofukuji Station, which is only one stop away from the Kyoto Station. Also a plus, In case you need to keep your luggage somewhere, you can keep them in the hotel, they have a rack with locks for luggage, just take the key with you and it will be fine. Even if the hotel is well connected, we found the area a little bit lonely, you have one Family Mart close to the station, and a group of small restaurants close to the hotel, but don't expect to much.

• Ian (9/5): Delightful surprise! - A very pleasant surprise! This was a last minute booking for our family of 3. Room was very spacious by Japanese standards. Nice that you could cook and do laundry in your flat. Beds were very comfortable and towels were big. Close to a few restaurants and short walk to the subway. My only gripe was the heating took a while to warm up the room but it was fine.
• Juan Lorenzo (10/5): - Property was as advertised -- located in a quiet neighbourhood in Kyoto and a short walk from a subway station. Convenience stores and restaurants close-by, as well.
• Ji (10/5): Great hotel! - Hotel is super near to the train station - both local line and JR line. Room is super clean as well and we can change our towels everyday although there is no housekeeping. They provide necessities (i.e. detergent, pegs, utensils, etc.) that we can take to our room.

• STEPHY (10/5): 24th Nov - 28th Nov stay - We had a great time in Kyototabisou Kasumi. It’s ~4 mins walk from Tofukuji station. Just outside station, there is a family mart whereby you can buy water, food etc. The room, toilets were clean & neat. There is a small kitchen too with utensils. It also had a small verandah outside whereby you can hang your clothes after washing. Obviously washing machine is provided in the room. Toilets were okay and room sizes were far bigger compared to Tokyo. There are also shared things outside like plates, iron box, adapter, umbrella etc. The only issue wanted to highlight was microwave oven in common area wasn’t clean. We had to clean it before use. This place is close to multiple attractions in Kyoto. But you may have to take bus or Train. I will definitely recommend this place.
• Sanjibmandal (8/5): Very strategic location in Kyoto - Location-very near to Tofuku-ji station for metro and JR line. Just one station distance from Kyoto station. Location is very strategic for visiting Fushimi Inari, Nara and Gion area. Hotel was very clean as usual in Japan. Staff was very friendly and humble person. Some good restaurant and FamilyMart just outside the Tofuku-ji station.

• Ameema (9/5): Really great for its price!! – Good facilities and friendly staff, would recommend! - The facilities at this property really made the stay for us, the rooms were like apartment with laundry and private bathroom and shower. The staff were friendly and they provided laundry detergent, iron and other utilities free of cost. It was also really clean and located in a local neighbourhood which was nice. It was a bit far from the main station but overall was located in a local area which was nice!

What did please me was the extra effort made by the person responsible to let us check in late when we had travel issue and didn't realise it wasn't a 24 hour check-in. Going the extra mile was very appreciated. We had no issues at all, good room, good facilities, good location generally.
