- Patricia (8/5): - The location was great to Sutton’s Bay, Northport, shopping & vineyards. The room was good & the TV had lots of channels which we enjoyed because of rainy weather. The amenities were great. I’ll bring popcorn next time to make in the microwave! We’d definitely stay again.

- LINDA (8/5): Sister fun in Suttons Bay - It was perfectly adequate for our stay. The location was great and the management response was excellent. The floor had sand on it but so does every floor in the Leelanau peninsula! We would stay there again.

- Linda (4/5): - Room was nice to look at. Heat didn't get working until 9:15 pm. Only place you could get enough light to read was in the bathroom. Someone came down and messed with the TV, but we could still get only one channel. $157 was way too much $ for what we got. It seemed the only person on the property was a young girl who was out of her element fixing heat and TV's. If not for the above, we would have been very pleased with the room.

The bed was very comfortable and even with being right off of m22, you couldn’t hardly hear the traffic at all. We would recommend staying here to anyone.

- Lisa (4/5): - The room I stayed in had an a terrible odor, when a called the front desk to complain they said that they had an issue with a gas leak which they said they had fixed but it did not smell like it, and they did not have another room for me to move to. They assured me it was safe to stay in but, what ever it was irritated my eyes and nose. They did offer me a discount but this place is way over priced for the condition. I would not recommend staying here. Not happy at all.
- April (4/5): - I really like the ease of the communication and check-in. I received a text the day of our arrival with exact details which was very nice. The location was perfect for where we wanted to be. The room itself was a big disappointment because it smelled very moldy/musty. We left the window open hoping to alleviate the smell, but that didn't work. After a while we got used to it (not sure that's a good thing), but when I got home and unpacked our bags- literally everything we had brought into that room came home smelling of that same gross musty smell. There were also a couple of spiders in the corners of the room/bathroom. That was not as big a deal as the smell, but still... I did appreciate having the mini fridge to keep our drinks cold overnight. For the mandatory 2 night stay and the high fee charged, this room did not live up to expectations.
- robert (8/5): - Room 6. It was a very convenient location. The view across the street was beautiful with stairs to a little beach on the lake. We loved the room, it had ample space for our needs. The employees were very courteous and helpful. The ceiling in the bathroom was filthy, also the corners of the floor next to the bathtub needed a little cleaning.

- Don (4/5): Don’t waste your money - For starters, the locks on the window was removed… all anyone had to do was remove the screen and lift up the window.. we did not feel very safe. The beds were extremely hard.. I still have a stiff neck and sore back. I would not recommend this inn to anyone

- Colleen (10/5): - The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was near some very good winery’s and restaurants. We went to the office to ask about extra coffee, but no one was there. Not sure if it was to late in the day.
- michael (4/5): - $269/night and the downstairs bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The shower stall was so small you have to shut off the water to soap, and we’re small folks. The “private screened in porch” overlooked busy M-22, and 8 other rooms. Our second night we slept upstairs for the bed, and while it resembled a deflating air mattress, it was better than the unusable bed downstairs. Got to be the reason it was the only facility in a 20 mile radius that had vacancy.

- Lori (6/5): - This was a last minute trip and the only hotel available in the area and I was skeptical. My skepticism was proven true. While the bathrooms and the kitchenette were clean, the carpet did not look like it was vacuumed. The three season porch area we had was dirty - cobwebs on the furniture and the floor had not been swept. The sheets has pills on them, so it felt like we were sleeping in sand. The furniture is old and dingy. The outside was filthy, covered in spider webs and dirt. For $350 per night, we certainly didn’t get our money’s worth. Location is great and the owners definitely have taken advantage of that as they haven’t put much into the hotel.

My settings showed that you had guest wifi but it was locked and no password given. There was no staff there to ask questions although we arrived about 6PM. Door to room was unlocked and key in room as stated in their email.I thought the price was way too high. We stayed in much nicer places in TC for $50 -100 less per night, but with 1 week ahead booking this was all that was left

It is only a few minutes from the main areas of Sutton's Bay and Traverse City without being right in the middle of the crowd. The room was comfortable and interactions with staff were friendly.
- Eileen (10/5): Roomy with a view - We stayed at one of the apartments and had plenty of space! The kitchen area was well stocked with cutlery and dishware, anything we could need. The view from our balcony was perfect! The room was clean and well maintained, would definitely recommend it!

The bathroom was tiny, and far worse the shower was so small that you couldn't even bend over to wash your own feet. The kitchen area was way too large for our needs, but some might have loved it. As my wife said, "we could have stayed in a nicer place in Chicago for less money"

- Verified traveler (2/5): - Don't stay here - it's your vacation, spend another $50 and go someplace nice! When housekeeping gets the room ready, they open the windows (to air it out?). When you get there, the room is 90 degrees and 92 percent humidity and full of all the little bugs that can get thru your screen or in the door. You crank the window air conditioner on high, so you can't hear the TV over the roar that goes on all night long. You don't have time to watch tv though,because you're either swatting bugs or apologizing to your wife for booking this room.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - Thr e rooms appeared tk be clean when I checked in. After a while, I noticed flying bugs, spiders and a moth. There were spider webs on the ceiling where bugs had gotten caught. After wearing socks in the room, the socks were very dirty. In one area, there were dark brown sticy spots. Obviously, the room had not been mopped or dusted in a while. There wasnt a hair dryer in the room, which I discovered after a shower. After asking the staff if they had one, rheir reply was, "there arent anymore on site, if there isn't one in your room. What motel/hotel doesn't have hair dryers? Go to Walmart and buyn one!!
- Kimberly (8/5): Great Up North Stay - Room was a typical up north room, right across from the lake. Clean room, contactless check-in and friendly front desk personnel made this stay easy and safe. Rooms were dated, but comfortable and a little nostalgic.

No hair dryer but one was delivered quickly when requested. Bathroom tiny, shower will not fit a larger person. Good location for exploring Leelanau peninsula but could use an update/refresh. Provided paper coffee cups instead of styrofoam -- nice.

Shower is extremely small, small beach across the road, but it's not maintained. Need a place outside to sit and enjoy the nice weather. Nice refrigerator and microwave in room. Decor is like walking into Grandma's house

The room was adequate for our needs, small kitchen area was great for a quick breakfast. Our biggest complaint was the lack of daily housekeeping (supposedly not provided because of Covid - a little odd, since I would have thought that would make it more important than ever). We were okay with no bed make up, but it would have been nice to have the trash emptied and clean towels . We did ask for that one day and it was provided. We were also very grateful to the owner for finding my husband's carry on bag the day we checked out - we realized right before heading to the airport that he had left it in the room. We called and they had it waiting for us in the office. Overall it was an okay experience and suited our needs to visit family in Suttons Bay for a few days.

The shower stall was vey small but clean.. The lighting was so so. The beds were awful! The mattress's was so hard it was like trying to sleep on a cement slab.

- Joshua (6/5): What we needed - Easy check in. We arrived around 10:30 pm. Door was unlocked and key was inside. Room was clean and what we needed. Then we noticed there were 2 towels for a reservation for 4 people. No big deal. They left a number to call for such things. The office was closed due to COVID and the phone number was the only way to get assistance. The extension for the person on staff had a recording to call a different number. That number went to the voicemail of a distillery. When I tried the other extensions all but one said the phone number was no longer valid. The one that did work, for reservations, went to the voicemail for a curling club. Other than sharing wet towels and feeling a little frustrated it was a fine stay. I only put all this in the description so the management can see it and fix it. There is no other way to contact them.

The towels they were stained and not many in the room. The coffee there was two of us staying and we only had enough sugar and cream packet for one person. There was no breakfast.

- Joshua (4/5): Probably wont be back - The place had an amazing view. but unfortunately that were it stopped for us. the room was clean but definitely needed to be deep cleaned and the carpets needed to be scrubbed peaty bad. The bed was very hard. On Friday when we checked in we found some type of bug on the ceiling that i dispatched and on Saturday we found a brown roach crawling on the floor witch I also killed.

It was comfortable, clean and an excellent central location to all things on the Peninsula vs being right in the thick of any busy traffic areas. We had a great stay!

- Nicole (8/5): Nice location and hotel - not so great service - Staff was not very friendly or welcoming- I know we are going through a pandemic but making guests feel welcomed and comfortable should be a number 1 priority. Rooms were cleaned but we stayed 4 days and never had room service or clean towels delivered.

There was a bit of a musty smell but that cleared up relatively quickly. All in all, we enjoyed our experience here and would definitely consider using it again if we're in this area.
