- Marco Antonio (4/5): - Tardaron un día en podernos dar la contraseña del Internet, mientras solo estábamos con datos celulares, la televisión nunca la pudimos ver por lo mismo y que no agarraba bien, la puerta del baño no se podía cerrar y pues nunca en toda la estadía nos hicieron un servicio de limpieza de habitación.

No hot water but not so relevant due to the hot weather, perhaps you may ask for it. No mosquitoes. Double bedroom, near main hotel zone in cancun. If you want more then go for more expensive ones. I didnt eat at the restaurant overpriced imo. But the room was a good deal

- LaShunda (2/5): - This hotel is very deceiving! No elevator No room phone!!! The 1st night we switched rooms because the 1 they gave us was just HIDEOUS! Cords hanging out of the wall, TV didn’t work, dirty sheets, just HORRIBLE. The 2nd room given was not asssss bad, but it wasn’t good. The toilet had stopped up, and it wasn’t a maintenance man on site to fix it so my husband found a long stick from outside and unclogged it, thank God it worked. They don’t have any towels or tissue in the rooms you have to ask for them. No mirror in the bathroom, or anywhere in the room, the rooms also had an old stale smell…good thing I brought a can of Lysol. Just know we will never stay here again. 1 good things was the area was very quiet but that was it.

The washroom can however be improved as the drain pipes looks pretty clogged and takes awhile to drain the water and thereby emitting a foul smell at times.

- Christine (10/5): Knee deep - Nice place. The price is good; the breakfast and lunch prices are reasonable and food tasty. I enjoyed this hostel because the staff was attentive and kind. The pool is only 4 feet. The hotel bus next door is only one way drop off but other than that the beaches and shops are within reach.

- Aaron Michael (10/5): Clean - The kitchen could have been cleaner , but otherwise the hostel was impeccable. The room I stayed in was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and had nice decorations. The kitchen staff was friendly, more so than check-in staff, but they were fine. I wished it had more energy- which it could be done through events.

Had to leave we didn't know the difference between hostel and hotel. If you don't mind sleeping with strangers this place is for you but if you don't want that don't come here.
- Verified traveler (8/5): No frills, cool community - I booked a few nights at the Nirvana after a trip to Playa del Carmen took an unexpected turn. When I arrived, the gentleman at the front desk was absolutely incredible. He seemed to know the answer to everything I asked, was willing to spend as much time as necessary to me get me checked in and get my vacation could get back on track. Nirvana is not for people who need luxury accommodations or service. It's great for the self-sufficient traveler, the adventurous backpacker, or anyone who needs a clean place to stay in a pinch. Thank you, Nirvana!!!!!
