- Alfonso (2/5): Spacious, modern rooms marred by bad air conditioning and strange experience with balcony windows - Elevators (with glass walls!!) available. Wonderful, friendly, helpful English-speaking reception staff. Lots of parking. Spacious rooms with modern amenities. Location on lonely side road. Deserted feel due to isolated location and lack of guests and activity in surrounding area, although these are minor things to me with access to grab ride hailing app. What really disappointed me and lowered the rating by at least 6 stars (would have given 8 star rating otherwise) was the air conditioner that leaked tons of water into the bed directly below and which barely cooled the room and the strange experience with the balcony windows. Balcony window consists of plates of glass you can lever into closed or open position except lever not functioning with effect of lots of air and bugs easily entering room from outside. Covered window with plastic and aluminium foil to prevent outside bugs and airflow. Then strangely found that somehow numerous holes were being pierced through the plastic and aluminium foil while asleep at night!!! This strange, disconcerting experience leads me to give a 2 star rather than a 8 star review.
