Charming property - excellent service, which was extended beyond our stay as we had left a toiletries bag behind. We can only highly recommend this property!
• M2735LBphiliph (2/5): Promised services denied, followed by a ban on the premises instead of accountability - I am writing this review at the explicit request of the hotel for feedback. I have been a repeat guest at Strandhausresort Lübben. This was my final stay, for the following reasons. First, the sauna. The in-room hotel guide states verbatim that the bio sauna and the Finnish sauna are available daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and that for earlier use „a call to the hotel reception and approximately 15 minutes of heating time" are sufficient. At the reception, my request for earlier use was declined with the explanation that this could not be guaranteed. Only after I had repeatedly referred to the literal wording of the hotel guide was I offered sauna use the following morning starting at 9:30 AM – explicitly described as „a gesture of goodwill". A service committed to in writing is not a gesture of goodwill. It is part of the contract. Second, the kitchen closing time. A property that positions itself as a Superior Resort and Spa closes its kitchen at 8:30 PM. Anyone who is hungry at 9:00 PM – which, in this category of hotels, is not the exception but many guests with regular working schedules – finds nothing available in the house. A late menu, a simple in-house service, anything would be standard. Here: nothing. Third, telephone availability. After checking out, I called the hotel to clarify the whereabouts of an item I had left behind. Five calls went unanswered. Only the sixth was picked up. In a property at this price level, I expect the phone to be answered. Fourth, the handling of conflict. Following my factual reference to the sauna issue and my written request to the management for a statement, the hotel's response was to ban me from the premises. No apology, no gesture, no visible self-reflection. An appropriate response from a property of this category to a documented service failure would have been a partial refund, a written apology, and a small gesture of goodwill. Instead, the matter was reversed: it is not the hotel that failed to deliver the promised service which is held accountable, but the guest who insisted on it who is barred from returning. This is the real statement about the hotel – not the sauna, not the kitchen. A property that responds to a calmly raised service complaint with a ban does not have a strategy for service quality, but for conflict avoidance – and does not distinguish between the two. A pity about the location. Nothing more.

Abendessen (2 verschiedene 3 Gänge Menü zur Auswahl ) sehr lecker und außergewöhnlich. Wer nicht alles mag sollte nur Frühstück buchen und Abends aus der Speisekarte wählen. Das Essen war sehr genießbar und wir hatten eine schöne Zeit. Das Angebot ist ein wenig überteuert, schöner aber sehr kleiner Spa-Bereich, die Betten sind für einen Wellness Urlaub nicht wirklich bequem genug, und es gibt keine Streaming Dienste nur lineares TV. Alles kein Problem, aber für einen reinen Entspannungsurlaub und die Preise bräuchte es ein bisschen mehr für den vollen Zufriedenheitsfaktor.

The staff were not only professional and attentive but genuinely kind and compassionate—especially in helping accommodate my disabled mother. Their thoughtfulness and willingness to assist her every step of the way meant the world to us. The grounds themselves are absolutely stunning—peaceful, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The two saunas were a highlight, providing the perfect touch to an already serene experience. Every single employee we encountered was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure we felt comfortable and cared for. It's rare to find a place where exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and genuine hospitality all come together so effortlessly. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and eager to return. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Der SPA Bereich ist wunderschön, jedoch könnte man die Beschreibung der Anwendungen verkürzen. Die sind sehr lang und dadurch macht es die Auswahl kompliziert.

• Klaus (9/5): Wir hatten eine schöne "Spreewald-Woche" mit einem sehr guten Eindruck von der kompakten Kreisstadt - Die Lage des Hotels, die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personals, das umfangreiche Frühstücksbuffet. Aber auch der Baustil und die Konsequenz seiner Durchführung hat sehr gefallen. Wir waren zu dritt (eine angemeldeete Person war ausgefallen), und das Hotel hat keinen Abschlag für die Nutzung des Zimmers als Einzelzimmer (mindestens der Ausfall des Frühstücks) angeboten.
• Klaus (9/5): Tolles Hotel in einer schönen und erholsamen Landschaft - kommen auf alle Fälle wieder. - Ausgezeichnetes Hotel in sehr ruhiger Lage. Sehr freundliches und auskunftsfreudiges Personal am Empfang und beim Frühstück. Die Zimmer sind top und endlich mal eine Dusche mit ordentlichen Wasserdruck. Sensationelles Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen lässt (leider hat es das miese Wetter nicht zugelassen, im Außenbereich zu frühstücken). Wir waren das zweite Mal in diesem Hotel und mussten diesmal feststellen, dass die Speisen im hauseigenen Restaurant gegenüber unserem Erstaufenthalt zwar teurer geworden sind, die Qualität aber leider abgenommen hat.

Pokoje classic rezerwowane przez polski Booking są położone na parterze a okna wychodzą na parking znajdujący się tuż pod oknami. Brak o tym informacji w systemie Booking. Pobyt przypadł w okresie upałów. Przez cały pobyt nie działała klimatyzacja w pokoju co było dużą niedogodnością. Przez cztery dni nie uporano się z naprawą a hotel jako zadośćuczynienie zaproponował butelkę oleju:(

• Selina (9/5): Very relaxing one night stay - Beautiful location and property, extremely friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, spa area, and saunas were excellent, restaurant (dinner and breakfast) delicious and lots of variety Even though the spa area is beautiful, there should be more lounge chairs etc. Unfortunately people tend to reserve their seats so you either have to go look for a new place to rest after every sauna or you end up without a seat.

We were completely ignored at lunch and had to ask for anything at dinner (with a reservation). At check-in we saw that the restaurant offered fondue and we asked if we could pre-order that for dinner and were told that it would not be possible for the kitchen to prepare it because the kitchen had to already prepare so many fondues that night. During dinner we saw only one table with fondue, everything else seemed to be à la carte orders. Having booked one of the two most expensive rooms in the hotel we did not expect a special treatment but we also did not expect this bad experience.

The restaurant excellent. Very positive. So that it is not thought I work for the hotel... no tea and coffee facilities in the room... car park too small, means that a little bad parking by others makes it impossible to park a regular car. However, would love to come back with the family.
• melaba (8/5): Boutique Hotel wth style without snob - I spent two nights with a friend of mine in this small boutique hotel, in easy reach from Berlin (50 min. by regional train, plus 2 stops: bus 507). We've had a very nice, spacious room with view to the river Spree (Room 107). Modern style and still comfortable. The only thing missing in the room was perhaps a water cooker to make some coffee or tea. The spa is very nicely designed and comfortable. However, the area is quite a bit smaller than I imagined. There is actually only one Finnish sauna inside and one bio sauna outside in the garden. The resting room has about 10 long chairs. I am not sure if that will in peak times always be enough. I loved the view outside into the greenery of the garden. Also very nice the "Lounge/resting boxes" in the garden. You can use them for free if they are not taken or else rent them for one or more hours. So you have your only private space and resting area. I've had two Spa treatments and there were very good! I liked the Susanne Kaufmann products they are using. Staff was extremely friendly and the treatment room very nice and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, served by friendly and attentive staff. All in all, I really like this place. Definitively a recommendation if you want to relax and unwind but not travel too far from Berlin.
• AlevBk (10/5): Peaceful&pleasant... - Rooms are big, clean and beautiful, breakfast is delicious. Totally a great place to relax. Choose a room with a river view, you won't regret. There is a restaurant(Ladencafe im alten Gaertnerhaus) just across the street, don't forget to have a dinner out there. Also you can take a walk through the park so close to the hotel.
• SamehAwad (10/5): A very nice hotel - The staff of the hotel were extremely friendly. I can't stress enough on this point. We took the spa suite it is very spacious and well furnished. The breakfast was simple but tasty. Don't miss the boat trip of the canals of spreewald.
• 681mariamy (10/5): Relaxing stay - The place is really amazing. The village is small and clam. The staff are friendly. The place is very comfortable and clean. We stayed one night there ..very relaxing, beautiful scenery. Took a boat trip around the spree, lovely view.
• Anita-plus (10/5): Really nice - Nice, modern and clean rooms. Very good breakfast. The only inconvenience is that you need to leave the building to enter restaurant. The area definately not that attractive as expected but hotel absolutely fine to sleep and eat.
• PeggyK575 (10/5): Modern with traditional touches in gorgeous location - Absolutely the top choice if you are visiting the Spreewald. The hotel is the absolute definition of a boutique hotel. A bit of charm, a bit of luxury, with beautiful modern amenities. The staff were so friendly and helpful, despite our abysmal German. We had a room on the water side with a balcony. We loved the clean wood floors, the amazing waterfall shower, comfortable bed, and gorgeous view of the river. We ate in the restaurant 3 times and the food is excellent - modern twists on traditional German food. I really enjoyed the horseradish encrusted schnitzel. We came into the restaurant on a Sunday after a long walk and there was one of the most amazing desert buffets I've ever seen - everything fresh and homemade too! One of the best features of the hotel is the fact that you can walk out the door and immediately access the walking paths through the Spreewald, You can go for miles and miles. We were there in the winter, so were unable to take part in any boating or swimming though. Highly recommend!!
