- Antonio Miguel (10/5): - It was the best hotel experience we had in Japan, the staff was super nice and the room was great, also, the dinner and breakfast were amazing, full of traditional dishes and as a gastronomical lover, it was a great experience. Our waiter was super nice, sadly we didn't ask his name but made the experience even better. We would have loved to say goodbye to him, he was game changing. Great hotel for great value, it is placed right in the middle of the island so everything is practically close by. Nothing, it was truly one of the greatest hotels we've been in Japan.

We stayed for three nights and four days as part of our honeymoon, and every moment spent at the ryokan was wonderful. The staff are incredibly warm and polite, from the moment we were greeted at check-in to being served meals during breakfast and dinner service. They gave us a thorough walk-through of our room, explained what we had at each meal, and provided thoughtful details that made our stay all the more special. The food is fantastic and I strongly suggest getting a meal here as part of your stay! We were in awe each time we were presented with beautifully assembled courses for our kaiseki meals. Everything tasted delicious. Our room was also very spacious and incredibly peaceful with an ocean view. It was amazing that we were provided with room wear and lounge wear for outside the room (onsen, dining area). We loved being able to access the onsen on-site too. Thank you for making our stay so memorable! We would happily return again.

- Christina (10/5): Eines der schönsten Hotels, die ich je erlebt habe. - Es war einfach alles perfekt! Das Zimmer war ein großes Studio mit bodentiefen Fenstern, Balkon und Meerblick mit erstklassiger landestypischer Einrichtung. Das Badezimmer ist eine Sensation, es fehlte einfach an Nichts; hochwertige Kosmetikartikel und Bad-Utensilien wurden täglich aufgefüllt, ebenso die sehr reichhaltige ausgestattete Minibar. Der hauseigene Onsen mit dazugehöriger Sauna ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das japanische Frühstück war das Allerbeste meiner gesamten Japanreise, ich kann es wirklich nur empfehlen. Natürlich war auch das Servicepersonal herausragend freundlich umsichtig und trotzdem sehr angenehm dezent. Haus- und Schlafanzüge, Alleinlage mit einer sehr gepflegten Gartenanlage sowie kostenlose Parkplätze rundeten das Angebot dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft ab. Es gab wirklich nichts zu beanstanden.

- Linh C. Mauer (9/5): Great ryokan in Onna - It was my second time visiting Nakamasou and I came back because I had enjoyed my first time so much. The rooms are stunning, spacious, ryokan-style and still modern with amazing views of Onna and the sea. It is very quiet and the hotel offers all amenities - a restaurant with great food and a fantastic staff, a public onsen and it's a short walk to the next village, although there is not much to do in the village - I recommend coming by rental car. One of the best places to stay in Okinawa. I was a bit disappointed that although I had made arrangements for a massage 2 months in advance, on short notice I cancelled it because 5 minutes before the massage, I was asked to reschedule because the female massage therapist wasn't available anymore.

However i would have liked some bath salts to use for the bath experience. I paid for one Kaiseki dinner. It was a beautiful experience. Staff did not notice it was also my birthday. So nothing special done. But the waiter who attended to me made it very enjoyable. No internet TV channels. The daily bad evening traffic on the road leading to the place. Hotel needs to inform about the traffic conditions for drivers who may face delays.

- Cho (10/5): - 가족 6명이 다함께 방 2개로 1박 했습니다! 리뷰를 정말 많이 찾아봤을때 안좋은 리뷰 한두개가 있어 조금 걱정했는데 쓸데없는 걱정이였어요 ㅎㅎ 직원분들 모두 정말 친절하시고 하나하나 챙겨주십니다. 대욕장은 생각보다는 많이 작았지만 이용할때 사람이 아예 없거나 거의 이용하지 않아 가족끼리 조용히 이용했네요. 가이세키도 정말 맛있고 눈이 즐거워요! 아침도 맛있고 양이 정말 많습니다. 식당에는 작은 팬케이크 기계도 있어서 좋았어요. 료칸이 전체적으로 굉장히 조용하고 청결해서 내내 행복했습니다 재방문 꼭 하고싶네요

- Andreas (8/5): Erholsam - Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Man hat einen Blick auf das Meer und es ist verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Die Straße, die unter dem Hotel entlangführt, nimmt man kaum wahr. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich, allerdings japanisch, also viel Fisch und andere warme Gerichte, wenig Obst und so gut wie kein Brot. Das Onsen war dunkel und nicht sehr einladend. Ein Fitnessraum hat ganz gefehlt.

The meals were good so many courses, large portions, good sake selection, the staff is super attentive and I was so thankful that they were able to accommodate for my allergies (I did tell them prior to arriving at the hotel). The view of the ocean from our room was nice. It took about 30-50+ minutes to get to any of the main attractions or monuments we wanted to visit but being central it was easy to go south or north of the island. People may stay more just at the hotel? It was hard to tell if we were the only ones who were leaving to do ‘day trips’ around the island. We got back to the hotel on our last night around 10:30 pm and wasn’t sure if that was frowned upon or not. Personally found the beds to be uncomfortable for what we typically are used to.

- Jessica (10/5): The epitome of fine Japanese hospitality! - It was a truly wonderful experience for all of us, my three children and the grandparents - the staff were so warm and welcoming from the moment we drove up, the room was spacious and clean with an amazing coastal view (we saw a couple of double rainbows after the rain), they catered for our young children's needs meticulously at both breakfast and dinner, were able to provide a cot and baby bathtub and there was a lion dance show after breakfast and free popsicles outside the onsen to little ones' delight! And to top it all off, when my three year old left behind her beloved lovey, they found it for her in the room and helped to arrange to return it to us even though we had already left Japan - we are so grateful and will definitely be back! Nothing.

- Pui Ying Angel (9/5): Fabulous stay with nice room, great sea view and high quality service and food - Room was superb - very spacious and comfortable. Facilities are maintained well. Staff - high quality service Food - breakfast and dinner were also very high quality, every dish were so delicious. Portion is generous. Would have been good if public bath is open for longer in late morning and early afternoon, and smaller size onsen clothings is available for younger kids.

The room with a view was exceptional Location is a bit odd, as we had to Uber left and right, but that was ok. Not a lot around, so make sure it is for a calm retreat. Beds are very firm.

- Franzvomsee (10/5): Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort um sich zu erholen und Ruhe und Frieden zu genießen. - Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort um sich zu erholen und Ruhe und Frieden zu genießen. Unser Zimmer war groß mit Blick auf das Meer. Frühstück und Abendessen sind außergewöhnlich. Die persönliche Betreuung der Angestellten ist ein weiteres Plus. Wenn wir wieder einmal nach Okinawa reisen, werden wir dort übernachten.
