• Russell (9/5): A most surprising charming social maze of corridors in Newcastle - The toilets were clean and came with air fresheners so you don’t have to smell the deathly odours of previous users. Common spaces were kept tidy and clean as much as possible even if they were quite tight. I do wish there was a better way to keep people more accountable for their usage and abusage of amenities though especially the cutlery which is quite possibly the most disorganised pick n mix of forks spoon knives screwdrivers chopsticks sewing needles and whatever else is in there. Cameras help but possibly a higher shelf closer to eye level may help people who are cutlery-blind to sort their shit out better. Beds were ok, better in the cold than in the heat. Some were creakier than others and it depends on whether there’s a Snorlax /common enemy in the room. Swimming pool is very pretty and inviting. Washing area looks like a war bunker. I found having 3 different ways to walk back to my room which was only like 8 metres away very charming and convenient to avoid people who were annoying. The gate. It either slams itself, you, or if you’re too gentle it doesn’t close and poses a security risk. Some rooms smell nicer than others based on ventilation. You just need one person to smell like postmortem feet and everyone else is subject to nasal horrors.

• Agnes (5/5): Nahh.. Not really it.. - Near to the big bus station Staff was friendly Cigarettes, stinky ashtrays and ash everywhere Bed was extremely wobbly/unsteady. People’s vibe was kinda weird, very unfriendly (not particularly the hostels fault - might be different at times) They say they don‘t let people sleep in there above a certain age yet I had a man mid 50 in my room who was not the nicest roommate Showers were pretty gross and I think one was broken Table in the outside areas dirty, were full of stuff in the morning from their drinking of the night before, table was unsteady as well. Very gross everything if you‘re an non smoker.
• Charlie (5/5): I would not stay again - The WiFi was good in common areas. The kitchen is spacious. The TV has a few streaming services. The showers are pretty good. Comfy bed. The socket has USB ports. The location is not good. It's far from everywhere. The hostel has no lockers. The smoking area is big so it is unpleasant to sit outside as a non-smoker. People were smoking weed, which I believe is illegal. The top bunk bed was quite shaky. It was also not long enough. I'm 183cm and I only just fit. No free towel. No shelf with the socket by the bed. The shower light turns off whenever it wants to. The tap water tastes awful and it's never cold.

• Mathilde (8/5): - It was very social. Always people in the common areas. Kitchen was big and well equipped. I had a easy late check in and early check out. The room was pretty dark. The top bunk did not have any railing and there was nothing in the rooms except the beds.
• Kinnear (5/5): - Rooms, staff, all was fine. Noise and partying until literally 5:30am. After an 8 hour coach journey this was hell. Management should have the responsibility to stop noise past a certain hour.
• Francesca petrolo (4/5): - The facility is nice a lot of space in the kitchen and outside area. They have the pool and the area is quiet. It was clean The facility is not very close to the center and you have to walk 8 minutes to get to the bus stop. Who is running the facility are kids and they think as kids, if you are an adult like me you will not enjoy the stay there so I don't raccomand that. The majority of the teenagers live there and they think that is their home when in reality it is open as an hostel so they should respect everyone, but they don't. They smoke weed , they drink a lot and they live bottle every where. In the night they keep parting and talking loud until 3am. I couldn't sleep at all. The room is very basic. You will find just the bed, not even a locker or anything to hang your jacket.
• Rob (6/5): Good option for a short stay in the city - Functional accommodation for a short trip. The staff were extremely helpful in accommodating my late check in request, with clear instruction on how to access both the property and my room late in the evening. The room was comfortable enough, but the lack of air con made it a bit warm, despite the ceiling fan. The corridors and communal areas also smelt like weed for almost the whole duration of my short stay.

• Zhanna (3/5): Yeah nah - Clean environment, high ceilings Rooms are spacious, but this space is essentially useless - there is literally nothing provided except the bed and two outlets. Not a single box to store your stuff, not a single shelf, no table, no light etc. You are forced to just dump your belongings on the floor and have your essentials just scattered around your bed. It creates a feeling that you're trying to sleep in the middle of an airport or something, very unpleasant. I ran away after the first night.

• Ruby (4/5): Good location, below average everything else - It was right next to the event I was attending the next day Really loud, quiet hours weren't really adhered to by anyone, people vaping everywhere, shower lights not working and toilet floors sticky with urine. Someone vomiting in the toilets. Slugs in the toilet.

• Brandon (7/5): Decent hostel stay - The room was spacious with vaulted ceilings. In a quiet neighbourhood with a good location. Parking available for free. We only stayed here one night for a last minute booking and had no problems.
