- Hank (10/5): Really enjoyed our stay - There was no breakfast supplied
Only negatives were thatthere was no indication that the bedroom was upstairs and bathroom/toilet downstairs
Made it difficult as my husband has had extensive knee surgeries
And we has no internet ,but we actually did not care about that ! Beautiful garden
Beautiful interior
Close to town

- Miranda (10/5): - It could have been clearer in the listing that this property was over two floors, and that the bathroom was on a different floor to the bedroom. I would have chosen a different property considering I was in my third trimester of pregnancy
- David (10/5): -
- Emma (10/5): Was such a cute getaway, had such a good time 😍😍 -
- Robert (8/5): Daylesford retreat away from the hustle and bustle - The fire places in the main room and bathroom added a great atmosphere. We loved sitting in the garden too

- Akarsh (10/5): Perfect Couple's Retreat in Daylesford - The property feels so grand and is perfect for a couple's getaway in Daylesford. Extremely well designed (especially where the TV is), and thoughtfully decorated. All amenities and provisions were fantastic. Very private location, but still super close to the Lake, shops, and all the spas in the neighbourhood. Communication and access was also great, and made for a very comfortable stay! The mattress was a bit firm for our liking but not a deal breaker, as we'll definitely come back here.

- Michelle (9/5): - Location was great! Large space for two people. Bed was comfy! Loved having a bath by the fire. Kitchen had everything you needed. Gardens were just beautiful. Too many couches.
TV under the bench top (too low down). TV could be mounted above the fire place. The amazing mirror above the fire place could be placed upstairs in the bedroom on an angle in the corner.
- Graeme (5/5): We left a day earlier than we booked due to toilet being down stairs from bedroom - Bed good .well equipped No toilet upstairs very inconvient .couch uncomfortable
- Belinda (10/5): One of the best features was the fire place in the bathroom!! The whole space was perfect for the two of us for a short - A very arty property in a lovely quiet secluded area. Beautiful gardens to sit in and enjoy . We really enjoyed it all !!
- Nathan (10/5): -
- Shelley (9/5): Park ave stay - The fireplace was gorgeous. And the heating made it very cosy as it was a cold weekend. The autumn leaves everywhere were so picturesque. Sensor lights outside did not work and it was very dark to drive in and out of the property at night.
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional - Welcome bottle of wine on arrival! Interesting books and art pieces to admire. The garden was just divine! A lovely place for R & R.
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dina (10/5): Divine Getaway Near Daylesford Lake - Park Avenue is an exceptional property in Daylesford. Completely private and spacious with all comforts and amenities supplied, as well as a stimulating, unique sense of interior design. Loved the art objects, design books, splashes of colour, shape, texture, glassware, cushions, outdoor candelabra with mirror. Bed, bedding, bathroom supplies all were super comfortable and luxurious. It was high fire danger at the time so we couldn't enjoy the awesome fireplaces in the loungeroom and bathroom but we enjoyed swimming and floating in the nearby lake as well as exploring all the township had to offer. There was so much to enjoy and explore inside and out this property and everything was catered for to maximize our comfort and relaxation. A wonderful retreat. Checkin was super easy and hosts graciously offered us an early checkin as well. We had a complementary bottle of wine. Highly recommend this property. A little more outdoor furniture to lounge in in the beautiful garden would have been great (guessing the empty space is to facilitate potential events).
- Judy (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional property. A stunning cottage offering complete amenities. The beautiful, tranquil gardens evoke the charm of a picturesque French countryside.🇫🇷 No complaints 👌
- Tracey (10/5): - Loved this quiet, quirky converted church. Very cosy and well appointed.
- Valerie (9/5): Wonderful cottage, plenty of room, fabulous large bathroom, close to lake Daylesford for walks, exceptional dinner nearb - Ambience, style, garden, king bed, art works Unable to open upstairs window to allow fresh air to escape after hot days.
- K (9/5): Superb -
- Lorna (9/5): Such a lovely stay in a comfortable place! - Such easy access to town - lake Daylesford Nothing!
- Sally (9/5): Beautiful property, lovely relaxing visit - The property was lovely, good locatiion and well-supplied.
- Clare (10/5): A beatiful property and perfect for a romantic weekend getaway! - The property was well presented with everything we needed for a romantic weekend getaway..I would highly recommend! we especially liked the large bath tub with the fire! and the mezzanine bedroom, and cottage garden 😊
- Kerrie (10/5): Exceptional - Stunning decor and beautifully appointed amenities. Gardens were stunning.
- Terry (5/5): A beautiful property, but I wouldn't stay there again because of the building noise. - Well equipped large kitchen with full size fridge. The property is very spacious for two people. Plenty of heating options: gas fired radiators, aircon , ceiling fan, wood burning fireplace. Beautiful, well maintained gardens. Quiet neighbourhood. The property looks nice inside and outside. Lots of arty books and artwork. The property looks like a repurposed church. It has two front doors both with screen doors. The only door locks were dead latches, meaning that in an emergency you could only open the door to get out with the key. The ground level windows were narrow, fixed non opening, so no exit via a window. The upstairs window could be opened, but a long drop to the ground. This property wouldn't pass a fire inspection for a NSW factory! The stairs to the mezzanine bedroom (ex choir loft?) were steep and had a 90 degree turn at the top with no landing. No hand rail at the very top. Going up and down the stairs required caution particular at night ( bedroom upstairs, toilet is downstairs). This property is not for the mobility impaired. The building is very noisy at night! I assume it was thermal expansion / contraction of the wall ,or roof cladding. It went on for hours & kept us awake. The TV was badly located near floor level & only easily viewable by one person looking sideways. Far too many decorator items (mainly cushions) cluttering the place. We were there in December, maybe the building behaves better in the cooler months?
- Alex (10/5): Beautiful place for a couples getaway -
- Christine (9/5): a beautiful place to spend a lovely weekend. it was wonderful. Loved how homely it was . it was perfect!!! - it was beautifully presented and clean . extremely comfortable and felt homely. Also very close to the main st and lake. the wood provided for the fireplace was wet so could not burn . we went out and bought kindling and dry wood as it was perfect weather ( cold and wet) to stay in doors and chill out by the fireplace.
- Kimberly (8/5): Very good - Nicely decorated, beautiful greenery and garden, good location, quiet and secluded, big comfy bed, roomy yet cosy TV was in an awkward spot
- Colin (8/5): Very good - It's a beautiful place to stay with an easy walk to the lake and town Don't get me wrong, but the place is beautiful, but it could have done with a good dusting. The money you pay for a premium stay things should be excellent.
- Jm (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (10/5): - What lovely property. The garden is gorgeous. Immaculate inside warm and welcoming.
- Peter (8/5): - Great property, easy access, complete privacy, excellent condition.
The layout of the living room made it difficult to watch the tv, we had to purchase some items ourselves due to a lack of supply by the property. Hand soap dispensers were empty and very little toilet paper. For the price we paid we expected better.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic property close to town and beautiful surrounds . Maintained to a very high standard. Loved every minute staying here
- Stephen (10/5): - Private and peaceful. Great spot for a Daylesford stay
